Glad you like it ❤️
Thanks for the video
My pleasure!
Well-executed aggressiveness will always beat defensive baselining no matter how good it is. The problem is maintaining consistency because of its higher difficulty level of execution.
Better to play "do or die" than to run from corner to corner looking for player's mistake and roar like a lion
@@ExpInsI disagree you need a balance of both which Novak had, which made him better than fed
@@jainthan7264 again and again I would prefer to live the life full of beauty and sadness than if everything is precalculated. Beauty and statistics are different things. So Federer is about beauty and it gives him great statistics. Novak is better for couple tournaments in numbers - thats not the thing which has to be proud of
@@ExpIns Guess what? I’m a Federer fan but I’m not deluded. Playing the game visually better, is playing the game visually better. But that’s it. If you ask me who played the sport tennis better, to win competitions at the highest level, Djokovic edges it for me against federer. Of course there are a lot of varying factors but from what we saw because we never saw both play at their absolute peak against each other which is a different story. Djokovic was the greater player.
This sums up the Federer Djokovic match up perfectly. When Federer was on his A game like these clips neither Djokovic nor Nadal could do much about it. As they say he was just too good that day. The problem as you said is consistency. When Federer wasn’t playing like this or had a lull in a match the solid and occasionally aggressive baseline play was ideal to wait until Federer made an error. Not Djokovic nor Nadal would very often lose a game of patience. Federer was unbelievable to watch when he was on but frustrating as fan when he was off against Djokovic and Nadal as they would always win a war of attrition.
It’s a shame they never played each other at their peaks because Federer’s most dominant period was 2004-2007 and Djokovic didn’t really start coming on until later when Fed was still great but definitely had lost some edge and was much less consistent. A lot of these points were from later years In Federer’s career but he had trouble consistently stringing wins like this together against Djokovic. There was a chance with Federer’s resurgence for 2017 but Djokovic had a poor year so they didn’t play each other.
