I did the Apple Store demo yesterday. Immersive videos were by far the most remarkable. Courtside seats for basketball, and other sports and entertainment venues would be a killer feature.
Double press the Digital Crown to temporarily hide the environment and windows if you need to interact with your phone for a bit or talk to someone. You can do it again to bring it all back. That has been super nice for me.
Hi Stephen, lots of us have found that USB C powerbank is actually better than second battery pack. You can keep it attached to your battery for extended 8 - 10 hours depending on the powerbank size, you don’t need to swap battery and shutdown the device, and it is much cheaper than battery pack.

I figured I wasn't going to have time to really use it and that's a lot to spend on something I would use very limitedly for a while. Hopefully in a few months when we've got this parenting thing down :)
One of the issues I've run into is that eye tracking can be a bit wonky at times. I purchased a trackpad, and the salesperson told me to try switching to one eye rather than both eyes. One customer has an eye that tremors so he switched to one eye and it tracked well. I didn't find that worked for me. The trackpad is of course very accurate, but I'd prefer it if I didn't have to use it. Perhaps Apple will improve eye tracking with an update. I love this device.
You should get comfortable with the cable. I not only expect it to stay for quite a while, I expect it to house even more than the battery to slim it down. That battery is huge, it's like 39Wh, that is very heavy for a headset.
It is great to see the views on non tech users on this. Thanks for sharing and yet again it is making me sad that this isn't yet available here in the UK. I would love to get it and share the experience with my grandchild and my nieces!
Why not just buy a conventional battery pack and daisy chain it to the original one? That way you don't need to power off the Vision Pro when you are running out of battery
Loving mine so far. I’m wearing it so much I was worried about my neck over time even though it feels fine. However , than I thought about how my head is usually looking straight forward now instead of down at my phone, which is probably bettwr
@@abdulaliakbar1175 agreed, I knew I had 2 weeks to trial it. Honestly I look at it like I could easily spend that in a huge tv or tripped out Mac, this takes care of both of those if nothing else
Are people buying these with cash or racking up credit card debt? I heard the lines were 100 people deep on launch day. I just can’t think of the avg person who still has a mortgage and car note throwing $3500 down on this versus putting that money towards the mortgage or car
