lots of good information sir. your kids bathroom switch one of them is a Leviton switch you can see it in the video says right on it. I have done every switch and rec in my home with Leviton.
Homekit is what I have decided on as well for my next home. Secure, and I will be honest what I do have in HK already, very reliable compared to either amazon or google.

Thank you very much for the video. I am changing my automation from smart life, cloud edge etc to apple HomeKit. Can you please let me know 1)what is the difference between Bluetooth smart bulb and WiFi smart bulb. I am guessing I can not control the BT bulbs from outside the network but is there any other drawback? 2)previously I never needed a hub and my router acted as a hub, trying to figure out why I need an Apple TV or apple pod to be a hub now.
a great video, i am currently building my new house and i wish to make it smart and not really detailly smart. i just want to focus on smart gate, doors, security and lighting do you have any advice for me
Do you have connection issues with the Logitech Circle View cameras? Mine disconnect frequently and I’ve read it’s due to the different networks my router runs 5g etc and it switching. Does the eve flood camera have similar issues? I would appreciate your recommendation. Great video and presentation. The flow was good and you did a great job explaining the functionality of each device. Bravo
Thank you! The Circle Views disconnect occasionally but maybe for an hour or so at a time. They usually reconnect consistently. Eve Outdoor camera is pretty solid and I don’t see those issues
I have that exact bed frame. I bought the Eve light strip because of this video! Could you tell me more about how you attached the light strip to the headboard?
Thanks for the great video! I have the Meross garage opener - it only works when I am connected to my home Wifi? Does not work say when I am not at home out of wifi range ie. on mobile cellular 4/5G.
@@beardfm thank you taking the time to reply my message much appreciated! I have added both via Home app and Meross app. Funny strange thing is opening the garage door via the Meross app works remotely via cellular Apple Home App only when I am connected to local Wifi. I am not using HomeBridge or Apple HomePod hub - just stand alone. Could this be the reason?
Joking aside, I know this was a lot of work. Fantastic job, very awesome to see all of the cool ways you make life a little more exciting & beneficial for you and your family.
Well done sir. Very nice video and content. Do you have an Amazon shopping list for your HK products? I don’t see a link to a page only for individual products
I am using a ubiquiti setup as well with my HomeKit setup. Did you do anything special to set it up to behave well? outside of iot specific WiFi ssid (this is what i did) Keep up the great work
This is a very fantastic video and I’m looking to do something similar with my home setup. May I ask what Access points you use with your Unifi Dream Machine?
Hey Stephen, great video! Do you have any smart bulbs in the house? If I bought some of these switches you use, would I be able to control both my dumb and smart bulbs? Thanks!
Dear Stephen. Thank you so much for the video I am lear a lot how use HomeKit with you. but I like to ask is you kindly you can share the automations for mine fridge outside. at the 14'23'. thank you so much , have a nice time.
Hey there! That’s actually an automation directly in the Aqara app. It’s not something I can share like a shortcut but I show it here: ua-cam.com/video/njMXkFxIFe4/v-deo.htmlsi=D_NsGG8Kf5eLVrdF
Near the end of the video you talk about the mini-fridge using an Eve contact sensor. I am trying to do the same, but I can't figure out how to do the automation of an alert pinging me if it's left open for X minutes. How'd you do that?
The mini-fridge is actually an Aqara contact sensor (there's an Eve motion sensor on top of the fridge), and the Aqara app offers the "when left open for x minutes" option.
Theoretically you shouldn’t need those hubs soon right (assuming one has an AppleTV? Do you know if there’s a controller that supports Thread and has both IR and RF blasters (to control window A/C, TVs etc.) I was looking at Broadlink and MoesGo but I can’t tell if they currently support Thread. I’m hoping to avoid buying unnecessary devices given the changes on the horizon.
I see you have a lot of wifi stuff? Do these devices flood your router bringing the internet down and disrupting other devices like ipad, computers, etc., when you browse the web?
Nope! Granted I have a pretty robust two-access point setup with Unifi, but I don't experience any issues, and we have many iPad, iPhone, and other devices too.
I appreciate all the work that went into your setup, but I’ll quote a well respected home automation expert: “voice controls are just a less convenient dumb switch”. If anybody needs to stay at your home they wouldn’t know all the commands. It’s a fun gimmick to show off at parties, but not practical for daily use. A well designed system doesn’t require an instruction manual or cheat sheet for house sitters/kids/spouses to enjoy. I applaud that you have smart switches throughout, which does help a lot. (Tho the inconsistency in switch models and brands was driving me a little nuts lol)
I certainly want any visitor to easily control the lights, which is why I went for mostly switches. And yes, the different models bother me too 😅 may upgrade them all to Lutron Diva and Claro in the future.
This video is awesome. I have to admit I am struggling with a much less ambitious setup. I just dumped my Wemo video doorbell in favor of the Logitech in your video (too many connectivity problems). I have similar issues with my Yale doorlock, but I persevere. I love the Meross fan/light switch. I will be buying the water sensors using the links in your website, My current struggle is a MSS560 Dimmer switch, which I can add to the Meross app but am failing to add to HomeKit! And lucky me, I bought the 2 pack ... But I just signed up on your site. Curiously, when i 'Liked' your video, the counter changed from 9.9k to 10k, so I may be your 10,000th liker! Thanks for all the content.
Haha thanks for that! And they’re expensive but if you keep having trouble with light switches, try lutron! I compare several here: ua-cam.com/video/iHf70FRoQhY/v-deo.htmlsi=iSd1a5kNxFu8lec0
Stephen this question is about the Meross garage door opener. If I have two separate garage doors would I have to but two different Meross units or is there some sort of extension to connect both doors?
I know it’s an old video but I’ve only just started adding smart items to my home. Question…I’ve replaced some bulbs with smart bulbs that also change colour. If I change the switch for HomeKit one will I still be able to change colour etc??? Thank you in advance.
Hey there! You can adjust the color even with a smart switch, but keep in mind whenever the switch is off the device will show as "no response" in HomeKit, which can be a little annoying.
@@beardfm if I go with just the smart switch and remove the bulb from HomeKit would that keep the switch awake for HomeKit even when off? Sorry about the dumb questions.
Thanks for this! I have an Eve matter contact sensor I recently put on my garage freezer after accidentally leaving it open one night. It notifies me via Apple HomeKit every time it is opened or closed, but there doesn't seem to be a way to make it smarter, ie, only notify me if the door has been open for say, more than 30 seconds. It looks like you have that smarter automation on your Aqara contact sensor for your back patio fridge. Is that easy to program via the Aqara system?
Really appreciated this, great video and really enjoy the podcast. Curious as to any feedback regarding the Eve Outdoor Cam. I have an Eve Cam indoors, but it was a nightmare to actually connect to given my Eero setup and really the night-vision mode when its dark is just terrible. Does the Eve Outdoor Cam provide a proper quality picture at night?
Thanks a ton! The Eve outdoor cam has been great for me. Setup did take a minute but it’s also very far away from my Wi-Fi AP’s so that was low signal as oppose to 5Ghz / 2.4. Night image is really good, and since the light turns on with motion it does pretty well.
I am curious about your use of Wifi. when I move and need to re-do my setup, I was thinking of getting a completely separate Wifi router (either as an AP or completely separate network) to have my smart home stuff. My thoughts on this was to keep the busy "chatter" away from normal wifi that would be used by iPhones/iPads/PC/Macbooks, Plex Server, etc. Currently I have everything on 1 TP-Link AX3000 Wifi 6 router and sometimes I feel that something is bogging my network down.
I keep everything on the same network and it works great. I wouldn’t bother with separate routers and networks for smart home devices. I explain about my setup here: ua-cam.com/video/w2h7fu7Kjs0/v-deo.htmlsi=yHNXp_RFpQN0SJfc
Mine are all outside and they do disconnect periodically, reconnecting minutes later. But there’s a block exterior wall and several interior walls between them and the nearest AP too
Do you have just one eve outdoor camera? I mean how do you cover your sides and front ? I see you placed logitech circle over the box . Does that cover your entire side of the house?
I'm new to HomeKit and coming from Insteon and Philips Hue. My Hue hub isn't showing in my HomeKit app. I can run Hue with its own app, but it's a pain. I'm doing away with Insteon after 20 years. How can HomeKit run my Hue?
There should be a qr code on the bottom of the hue app to add it to HomeKit. If not, go to the Hue app > Settings > Voice assistants and you should be able to connect to HomeKit from there!
I’ve been waiting for Apple smart home ever since Alexa was a thing. Now with matter, it’s the year of smart home now! I only hope they all put thread support!
Great walkthrough. I am a Smart Home n00b and am stuck in that research phase before diving into an ecosystem. My wife and I are iPhone users, but I can't quite figure out if that is enough to shunt us to Apple Homekit or if we would be better served by going Google Home. What's your take?
Even with iPhone as a starting place, I'd recommend HomeKit. You won't get Siri controls or Shortcuts automations with Google Home devices. That being said, when you start buying individual devices, look for Matter-supported stuff. Matter devices will work with Apple Home / HomeKit, but also works with Google Home and Amazon if you'd like to eventually try a different ecosystem.
Do you know a HomeKit device that is work like a piston. I mean, a device that can tap on a button to start old shutter for example ? Thanks a lot for your video it’s incredible
Thanks for watching! The SwitchBot "fingers" may be the closest thing. When paired with the SwitchBot Matter enabled hub, you can access and automate them from HomeKit: us.switch-bot.com/products/switchbot-bot?currency=USD&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw-r-vBhC-ARIsAGgUO2B23GmT12Z8UVYpd7YNxOFMf6ALdU6zNYu8QcJnzLCcy3Cd3Eff_CoaAqX5EALw_wcB
I recently got a cpl Google protect smoke/CO detectors…but then decided I wanted to go the Apple HomeKit route and got an Apple TV, Pod Mini, with garage opener and lighting to follow etc. Are there any smoke/CO detectors that work w HomeKit app do you know?
10:00 there should be an option in the shortcut to always allow it to run, I think it’s a toggle that says to ask before running or something like that
Very cool, well thought out. I've been slowly over time doing a similar thing as I've grown to really like the simplicity of having everything in one management pane. There are a few once in a while vendor specific apps for more high level configuration things (looking at you aqara) like adjusting cameras, but im fine with that for now. I will say one thing, It would drive me crazy having so many different Eco-systems light switches. I've stuck with one vendor for mine, I guess its just my mild OCD.
@@beardfm thanks for your answer! My goal is to use Apple Home Kit, because I own all the Apple gadgets. Therefore, I want to know: Can the Apple Home Kit connect with Wifi, Bluetooth and also Zigbee devices?.
Okay, so I just bought my first house and I'm looking at video/security for it. While Simplisafe has great discounts for military and education, I'm still concerned about privacy. I love the Apple ecosystem and with my faith In their privacy, I'd prefer to do that. However, I don't fully understand the native and non-native. Are the non-native still just as secure as an apple product as far as data goes?
If by non-native you mean when I refer to Homebridge products, I would say yes, they are inherently less secure. "Pure" HomeKit devices have to communicate through local Apple devices, either an Apple TV or HomePod, and Apple handles any requests to the internet from there. Homebridge is outside that network and inherently more open.
@@beardfm yes I believe that's what I'm stating. The reason I have so many apple products is largely due to their data privacy. I'd like to continue that, so I wasn't sure if that meant I had to stick with only native products (pretty much everything on their website).
Got those at Lowe’s! Commander Large 27-Gallons (108-Quart) Black Heavy Duty Tote with Standard Snap Lid www.lowes.com/pd/COMMANDER-27-Gallon-108-Quart-Black-Yellow-Tote-with-Standard-Snap-Lid/3551290
My meross devices have been a nightmare. Partially because I run 3 orbi mesh system which does not allow me to force devices to 2.4ghz. How often and if so, how do you keep all of those devices from not responding.
I'm looking for an interface that allows the home kit to control an existing blinds motor. This motor is connected to the lutron hwqs but it has dry contact and that's why I can't control it via the lutron app. I can't put this roller blackout motor in scenes etc.
I currently have bunch of ring stuff - doorbell , 2 video camera , security system and would like to have homeKit enabled for them , any idea how to do it ?
Unless those devices are already HomeKit-enabled, there isn’t a way to directly add them to the Home app. A clear sign is whether they have a HomeKit QR code somewhere on the device.
Hi Stephen, just curious. We have a lot of similar devices in our setup. But I chose Eufy. Why don't you have any? Because they are not fully supportive to HomeKit (yet - uugh)?
I love all this setup due to the volume/quantity. Although far behind Stephen from this perspective, I have chose the DYI path and will never really get there. Not as if I'd like to. Put a lot of energy on my 'smart house' up to design, program and build fully functioning sensors, lights & machinery. All by my self with all repositories the internet can provide. That said, I need to add: don't set your smart stuff in a way that you - and only you - can make real and practical use of it. An instruction such as 'turn on family ceiling fan to a 100%' is a selfish power. Buttons mazes here and there don't help either. If you have money enough to buy all those jigs and go for an endless 'perfect home' personal mission, go for it. But remember always being lean and smart.
@@beardfm I’m really deep into Philips Hue. Most of my devices are Hue. But besides Hue, my favorites would be Ecobee Thermostat, Meross garage door openers, and all Aqara devices. I use Homebridge to enable our Xfinity Home Security in HomeKit, which in turn adds all door and window sensors to HomeKit.
I honestly think you're the first person on UA-cam to ever properly indulge in the HomeKit eco system. Props bro.

lots of good information sir. your kids bathroom switch one of them is a Leviton switch you can see it in the video says right on it. I have done every switch and rec in my home with Leviton.
I have a number of Leviton switches, they’re great!
Homekit is what I have decided on as well for my next home. Secure, and I will be honest what I do have in HK already, very reliable compared to either amazon or google.
I've still been happy with HomeKit too!
Very cool! I got some interesting ideas for myself
Nice! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Hi Steven, I am a major listener of the apple insider podcast, you shouted me out again on the latest episode of the apple insider podcast. just to say I love your channel and I hope you realise more brilliant videos like this!😀
Appreciate that!
Hi. Great video. Love the SwitchBot Blind Tilt. Can you share what brand of blinds you have? Thanks.
Thanks! They are the Levolor brand from Lowes, and they'll cut the width in-store to fit your windows: www.lowes.com/pd/LEVOLOR-Trim-Go-2-in-Cordless-White-Faux-Wood-Room-Darkening-Blinds-Common-35-in-Actual-34-5-in-x-64-in/1000576741
Thank you very much for the video. I am changing my automation from smart life, cloud edge etc to apple HomeKit. Can you please let me know
1)what is the difference between Bluetooth smart bulb and WiFi smart bulb. I am guessing I can not control the BT bulbs from outside the network but is there any other drawback?
2)previously I never needed a hub and my router acted as a hub, trying to figure out why I need an Apple TV or apple pod to be a hub now.
Great set up! Do those Philips Hue Motion Sensors connect to HomeKit or do they need some sort of hub thing?
Thanks! All Philips Hue stuff requires a Philips hub, but they all connect to HomeKit once you have it
a great video, i am currently building my new house and i wish to make it smart and not really detailly smart. i just want to focus on smart gate, doors, security and lighting do you have any advice for me
Do you have connection issues with the Logitech Circle View cameras? Mine disconnect frequently and I’ve read it’s due to the different networks my router runs 5g etc and it switching.
Does the eve flood camera have similar issues? I would appreciate your recommendation.
Great video and presentation. The flow was good and you did a great job explaining the functionality of each device. Bravo
Thank you! The Circle Views disconnect occasionally but maybe for an hour or so at a time. They usually reconnect consistently. Eve Outdoor camera is pretty solid and I don’t see those issues
What an awesome video
I have that exact bed frame. I bought the Eve light strip because of this video! Could you tell me more about how you attached the light strip to the headboard?
Thanks for the great video! I have the Meross garage opener - it only works when I am connected to my home Wifi? Does not work say when I am not at home out of wifi range ie. on mobile cellular 4/5G.
Thanks! And that’s strange, have you added it to the Home app specifically or just using in the Meross app?
@@beardfm thank you taking the time to reply my message much appreciated! I have added both via Home app and Meross app. Funny strange thing is opening the garage door via the Meross app works remotely via cellular Apple Home App only when I am connected to local Wifi. I am not using HomeBridge or Apple HomePod hub - just stand alone. Could this be the reason?
Stephen is it absolutely necessary to install the chime with the Circle View Doorbell Camera?
Joking aside, I know this was a lot of work. Fantastic job, very awesome to see all of the cool ways you make life a little more exciting & beneficial for you and your family.
Appreciate it!
Love the setup. Although some of these switches can be replaced with occupancy switches. For example the laundry room.
Well done sir. Very nice video and content. Do you have an Amazon shopping list for your HK products? I don’t see a link to a page only for individual products
This is a great idea actually! I’ll publish a page on my website this week with a running list of products I’m currently using! Watch beard.fm
I am using a ubiquiti setup as well with my HomeKit setup. Did you do anything special to set it up to behave well? outside of iot specific WiFi ssid (this is what i did)
Keep up the great work
Thanks! And I wanted a single SSID throughout the house so I did not create an IOT-only network. Everything runs on the same.
@@beardfm multiple AP’s then? I have issues with devices frequently disconnecting. That’s why I split it off from my main ssid
Got a lot of the same products. Currently rocking a 50 accessory HomeKit setup. 🤟🏼
Nice!
This is a very fantastic video and I’m looking to do something similar with my home setup. May I ask what Access points you use with your Unifi Dream Machine?
Thanks! The Long-Range Wi-Fi 6 AP’s: amzn.to/3Z0SXJQ
No idea why, but it feels relaxing and simple to follow you, great review!
Appreciate that! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Hey Stephen, great video! Do you have any smart bulbs in the house? If I bought some of these switches you use, would I be able to control both my dumb and smart bulbs? Thanks!
Thanks! I’ve used Nanoleaf and hue smart bulbs and those work great with Apple Home
Would they work well with the switches?
Dear Stephen. Thank you so much for the video I am lear a lot how use HomeKit with you. but I like to ask is you kindly you can share the automations for mine fridge outside. at the 14'23'. thank you so much , have a nice time.
Hey there! That’s actually an automation directly in the Aqara app. It’s not something I can share like a shortcut but I show it here: ua-cam.com/video/njMXkFxIFe4/v-deo.htmlsi=D_NsGG8Kf5eLVrdF
Tengo Home Pod mini, quiero emlezar con algunas bombillas inteligentes que me recomiendas, tambien zigbee vs wifi
Nanoleaf bulbs with thread would be a great place to start. Or if you’re ok with a hub, Philips Hue is a great option!
Do you know if there’s a controller that supports Thread and has both IR and RF blasters (to control window A/C, TVs etc.)
I was looking at Broadlink and MoesGo but I can’t tell if they currently support Thread. I’m hoping to avoid buying unnecessary devices given the changes on the horizon.
The blackout blinds in your office that close when you start recording. Am I missing that in the list? I need these in my life.
Forgot! Will put them in, but I got them from Select Blinds: www.selectblinds.com/roller-shades/architect-blackout-motorized-roller-shades.html
I have the Meross garage door opener and very satisfied with it.
Same! Rock solid
Sehr cool was sie hier alles auf die Beine gestellt haben. Wahnsinn 👍👍👍
You'll need to put an opener on each. They can only take one sensor at a time
@@beardfm Thank you
Hi Stephen,
What fans do you use that work with the HomeKit?
Thank you in advance
The fans are all dumb fans on Lutron Caseta fan control switches!
I didn’t see a smart thermostat mentioned. Do you have a HomeKit thermostat that you like? I want to replace my older Nest.
ecobee all the way! I show it briefly but didn’t discuss at length.
Thanks for watching! And it’s very easy in the Aqara app. I have it programmed for several doors now.
Nice Video !
What are the name of these black and white sound panels in your home studio ?
They’re the GIK Acoustics impression panels! Link in the description I believe
Love! Where did you get the lights on your bed? And the HomePod stands?
Thanks! The light is an Eve Light strip: amzn.to/469L08z and HomePod stands: amzn.to/46aflUs
Wow, how much do you think your home has cost? Including the house itself
Ive been having a lot of trouble with my logitech circle view cameras. Going offline and not recording. Have you had any trouble. If so any fixes?
Mine are all outside and they do disconnect periodically, reconnecting minutes later. But there’s a block exterior wall and several interior walls between them and the nearest AP too
Incredible setup. Any connectivity or lag with the cameras? I have the same doorbell cam with a nest Wi-Fi and it has terrible connectivity.
It takes a few seconds to start the live video stream but no more lag than other HomeKit cameras
Do you have just one eve outdoor camera? I mean how do you cover your sides and front ? I see you placed logitech circle over the box . Does that cover your entire side of the house?
Just one Eve outdoor but I’d like another one. Two Logitech Circle view cameras cover the side!
@@beardfm Do you have the logitech ones hooked up to wall or just left on the gangbox ?
You set up is 🔥🔥
Appreciate it!
@@beardfm Thanks Stephen! It worked and the automations I had on the Hue app made it over like magic.
I’ve been waiting for Apple smart home ever since Alexa was a thing.
Now with matter, it’s the year of smart home now! I only hope they all put thread support!
Thread is getting more widespread for sure!
Were you able to integrate your sonos speakers in the HomeKit? I’ve seen conflicting reports.
FBI is hearing this guy 24/7 365 days a year 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
They’ve only come to visit once or twice 😏
Do you know a HomeKit device that is work like a piston. I mean, a device that can tap on a button to start old shutter for example ?
Thanks a lot for your video it’s incredible
Thanks for watching! The SwitchBot "fingers" may be the closest thing. When paired with the SwitchBot Matter enabled hub, you can access and automate them from HomeKit: us.switch-bot.com/products/switchbot-bot?currency=USD&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw-r-vBhC-ARIsAGgUO2B23GmT12Z8UVYpd7YNxOFMf6ALdU6zNYu8QcJnzLCcy3Cd3Eff_CoaAqX5EALw_wcB
stephen...did i miss the level locks? can you setup schedules to unlock / lock with apple homekit
I actually don't have a Level Lock yet! Once of the few categories I haven't upgraded to, so unsure. Maybe when I update this video in a year or so!
I recently got a cpl Google protect smoke/CO detectors…but then decided I wanted to go the Apple HomeKit route and got an Apple TV, Pod Mini, with garage opener and lighting to follow etc. Are there any smoke/CO detectors that work w HomeKit app do you know?
10:00 there should be an option in the shortcut to always allow it to run, I think it’s a toggle that says to ask before running or something like that
Yes, good point
Very cool, well thought out. I've been slowly over time doing a similar thing as I've grown to really like the simplicity of having everything in one management pane. There are a few once in a while vendor specific apps for more high level configuration things (looking at you aqara) like adjusting cameras, but im fine with that for now. I will say one thing, It would drive me crazy having so many different Eco-systems light switches. I've stuck with one vendor for mine, I guess its just my mild OCD.
In retrospect I wish I had gone all Lutron Diva and Clara switches, but I was trying to choose some budget options.
@@beardfm
Have you had any issues with your Logitech Circle View Cameras? I hear some complaints of connectivity issues
I have one that has intermittent connectivity issues, 20-30 min drops every few days, but the doorbell has been 100% solid
@@beardfm does it fix itself or do you have to unplug it then plug it back in?
8:24 you said, Mac mini for use homebridge? Am i right? I want to curious about setup for smart like light, garage, and etc.?
Yes I use a Mac mini for homebridge, but right now I don’t have any devices connected that way. It gets flaky over time
One question - the home kit gadgets connect via wifi or via bluetooth or via zigbee?
Each one is different, which in particular are you asking about? The best protocol at the moment is Thread
@@beardfm thanks for your answer! My goal is to use Apple Home Kit, because I own all the Apple gadgets. Therefore, I want to know: Can the Apple Home Kit connect with Wifi, Bluetooth and also Zigbee devices?.
6:44 Are those Lutron or Leviton switches?
Leviton dimmer on the right and two Lutron Caseta Claro switches
Rooms with no windows I use the Lutron motion sensor to turn in the lights automatically.
At 1:54, do you have a link to those storage bins? I need some for myself, thanks
Honestly my Meross devices have been very solid. I'm running a Ubiquiti Unify system with 2 access points. 2.4 and 5GHz running on the same name.
I’ve had a couple Eufy cameras, but there’s been a lot of privacy and security issues recently. We discuss on the HomeKit Insider podcast.
Do you have any experience with LIFX Bulbs? I’m having so much trouble moving them from one apple home to another
I had a single LIFX bulb in the past but had connection and reliability issues. I’d recommend looking at the Nanoleaf thread bulbs.
Good points, and that’s why I’m in favor of smart light switches rather than bulbs. Everyone can work the switch and physical dimming buttons!
You should be able to switch off „allow“ for shortcuts.
At 180 devices, my home is almost just like yours! Good job!
Nice! Which are some of your favorite?
@@beardfm I’m really deep into Philips Hue. Most of my devices are Hue. But besides Hue, my favorites would be Ecobee Thermostat, Meross garage door openers, and all Aqara devices. I use Homebridge to enable our Xfinity Home Security in HomeKit, which in turn adds all door and window sensors to HomeKit.
Tour?
That's incredible. I was thinking about smarthome system running with apple homekit and everything I need here. thank you for sharing.
Glad it helped!
Can you do a more in depth video on the camera system please?
