We've arrived at a point where you pay to run in a closed environment, instead of taking your shoes and get out running.

I used to agree, but now I'm looking around for one since you can't go half a mile without having to run in place while you wait on traffic crossings. I could drive somewhere and run, which I have, but the more you complicate your exercising, the less likely you are to bother. I know since that's why I'm looking and have been either taking a drive, which then have to cover my seats on the way back or wait until I dry before driving back, or just go back and forth down my street 4 times per mile. No thanks. To each their own though and some people just prefer it. I like this concept of seeing scenery on a monitor, but in looking at the specs on their website, it's old tech and the non plus has newer bluetooth and other things. Just starting my research so let me know if you found anything good.

Don't buy this junk!! I bought it it wasn't working they said they would replace it with a new one, they came back with just rails while is now a second day off work..they ate now trying to just replace the monitor which is another day off work so it's now a 10k treadmill..on yop of them not bringing enough help to get it upstairs which I did pre deliver instructions. Don't waste your money on this junk!!
