Your brand new Nordictrack or Proform treadmill doesn't work because iFit is forcing you create an account before you can use it. This can be bypassed!!
When you turn your new treadmill on, press and hold the iFit button (sometimes its a bluetooth button) for 30 seconds. And that's it!!

Dude it works! Even on todays new machine i got and found out about after freaking putting it together. Considered returning it but wanted to check online first!
Update that no one asked for --- I have a Pro-Form Hybrid Trainer (elliptical/recumbent bike). This little hack works for that also. Mine has a Blue Tooth button rather than the iFit button but it still works. Thank you for posting this video.

How do I bypass a 5700 elite
In the latest models the proform does not have the ifit but I used the bluetooth button and it worked great. I think companies have already realized this and are eliminating at least that button for Mexico, I would not be surprised if they found a way to remove the bluetooth from future models.
My treadmill doesn't have either button. I had ifit, but I've decided I don't use the treadmill enough to justify the cost. I was hoping to bypass it all and see what, if any, random onboard programs there are. Can't figure out how to get there. If I have to, I'll use manual mode and set timers for random hills and speeds. Sad I spent so much money on it and can only do a track workout.
It's a no go for me. I have no ifit button, nor do I have a bluetooth button. Any advice? It's a proform 600i.
There’s a power switch in the front of the machine at the bottom of the frame that had to be toggled on first on my Nordic Track C 960i.
My iFit also has a toggle switch for power the treadmill will not allow you to use it until it's activated or until you hold the button down like shown in the video, but iFit doesn't tell you how to get around activation.

@@thepcal9654 yes it comes on says hello and would not proceed until I used the method in this video. There were also several warning signs on the treadmill and in the instruction manual stating that it would not work until I registered it.

Looks like 12 iFit employees disliked this video lol. Thank you so much for this, I just bought thier cheapest model and they wanted a credit card before I could even use it, absolutely ridiculous. I've never heard of such a thing. Anyhow it worked like a charm and I think it was only about 10 seconds of holding the button in.

hello, i have the 6.5s and that ifit blue button method is not working at all, any other ways?, or did they catch on?..
Be sure to hold the button down the full 30 seconds.
Also the security clip HAS TO BE IN
There is a switch at the bottom of my treadmill, near the electrical plug/outlet that I had to switch first, then the red magnetic key had to be in, then hold the ifit button for 30 seconds. It works great now.

You need wifi to use your machine on manual mode. NO wifi NO good! Junk!
