Do you know why they suggest so much extra space around the tread on the install guide? Did you have an outlet that was on a dedicated circuit? I had to delay my delivery so I could get an electrician out.

Hello! To be honest… I didn’t read the install guide. 🤦🏼‍♀️ But nobody either at the store or when I had it delivered said anything about having a lot of extra room. I am assuming that is for safety reasons? Also, same with the dedicated circuit, nobody at the store or at delivery mentioned that. We have had it for over four months and knock on wood no electrical issues. We also have the bike and have had it for like 8 years and in multiple houses with no issues. This is just my experience though and maybe we should or maybe it could be a house by house scenario. Did you get the Tread or Tread Plus? Sore to hear that you had to delay yours. 😔

Does your tread make loud whistling sound while turning at high speeds? I just got one and wonder if the motor is faulty.

It doesn’t make a whistle sound but when the seam where the Tread mat comes together goes over the ends it makes a noise and drives me nuts but based on what I have researched it is normal. 🤷🏼‍♀️
