      @unmatchedvalue subscribed! excellent review! Will the machine allow you to power on and exercise with the hand bar down? Or do you have to raise it to start the treadmill rolling...Also are you running on it with only socks on? I've read people complain about it being too hot and getting foot blisters. Any problems?...Is that what the oil is for to keep the belt from getting too hot?

    • @unmatchedvalue
      @unmatchedvalue  8 місяців тому +1

      @stephenshakarian5920 Sorry for the late reply. Yes you can exercise with the bar down but it will limit your speed to a fast walk. I have been doing it with only socks on but I usually use it for about a mile at a time. Anything more and I would recommend shoes. Not because it gets to hot but because its very grippy and I can see blisters developing from longer use. Also the oil is mostly for making it easier on the motor but maybe part of it is to prevent friction heat build up.

    This is such a good review. I ordered one a different model that may not go fast enough (I didn't do enough reviews prior). Storing it like you do will work better for me so going to take my chances and hope it is not recommended for the reasons that you think. What I wanted to ask is how often do you think it should be oiled? Does it say in the directions? Thank you again this is probably one of the best reviews for anything that I have seen in a long time. • @unmatchedvalue
      @unmatchedvalue  10 місяців тому +7

      The manual has detailed instructions, but basically you tighten or loosen two bolts until the belt runs straight down the middle of the treadmill. Its not a hard process just takes a little time. Like if you see the belt slowly slide to the left you tighten the left bolt or loosen the right one.

    • @unmatchedvalue
      @unmatchedvalue  Рік тому +8

      No, I haven't noticed any issues. I'm no engineer; but in my opinion that's more a liability thing on their part. If you store it upright and have kids, they could pull it and it could fall on them, or if you don't lean it enough it could fall and break ect.

    • @unmatchedvalue
      @unmatchedvalue  10 місяців тому

      That's a tough one to answer honestly. The board you actually run on has rubber pads to help cushion the sounds of running. I think it comes down to how well your apartment is built and the types of insulation used. You could also get something like this amzn.to/3uOuFZC to help dampen the sound even more.

    My wife bought one similar to this but without the bar to hold on to. She just sticks it in the closet when not in use.

      Yeah those are not bad, but I personally like the bar if its not used as an under desk treadmill.

      @@unmatchedvalue Great! I live in an appartment. Do you think it would be noisy for people downstairs? Has it got decent shock absorption?

    • @unmatchedvalue
      @unmatchedvalue  11 місяців тому +1

      Sorry for the late reply. It's got rubber pads holding up the board. Id say it's decent at shock absorption but I don't know if it would be enough for the people downstairs not to have to much noise. I think it would all come down to how well the apartment is built.

    Hi, thank you for the review video. I recently purchased a UREVO treadmill but noticed that it produces a very high-pitched, unpleasant sound to the ear. Does the machine commonly have this issue, or should I be concerned enough to consider returning the product? I'm just seeking your input. Thank you.

    • @unmatchedvalue
      @unmatchedvalue  Рік тому +1

      I don't know if you saw, but I actually included some sound files of it running at 3:12 I have not noticed a high pitched sound when using it.

    • @codexstudios
      @codexstudios Рік тому +2

      We bought a treadmill that had a painful high-pitched noise as well (so loud cut right through headphones), took it apart and found it was most likely something wrong inside the motor. You'll probably have to take it to a repair shop or get a new one.

    • @unmatchedvalue
      @unmatchedvalue  8 місяців тому

      Honestly I don't know, I couldn't handle 5ks at 7mph so I have no way to test lol. They have a pretty good warranty according to my research. Also there are universal treadmill silencers that can be purchased to put under the treadmill if you have downstairs neighbors.

    Just got mine and I noticed while I run the belt moves the slightest bit from left to right and then back right to left depending on what foot I am stepping with. If I run it with no one on it, the belt looks pretty center. But once I start walking it moves back and forth. The movement is slight, is this something that you notice on yours at all? Thanks in advance!

    • @unmatchedvalue
      @unmatchedvalue  10 місяців тому +3

      Yeah I know exactly what you mean. That's normal; the moving part is actually raised up from the board underneath by a couple cm so its not constantly grinding on it. When you step it makes it brings it lower and makes contact with the board. It might move a couple mm to left and right but its mostly the play of shadows makes it look like its moving a lot.

    • @teresasamuel6387

      I have read several reviews that said the belt moves. I don't know about these walking pads. All I can say is follow your heart.
