On a standard clutch, what seems to happen at around 50,000miles is that one of the springs ejects out of the centre plate, this leads to a very heavy pedal, but can still operate for a while like that, have changed loads like that at that mileage
I just fitted a LOF power spec and solid mass flywheel on my td5 discovery, 300 miles in and I’m very impressed with it, the clutch pedal is lighter and it just looked quality. I spoke with Luke and he was very helpful and took the time to go through it with me which was great, the only downside was the DHL box was also like yours, damaged! I can’t recommend LOF enough at the moment, I know when our company land rovers need a clutch where we will be going... great review Nigel.

It fitted well but right now the project parked for the winter months. It works, and she is running, but I still haven't driven her on the road.
