Hi. Thanks for the video, I have just done the same to mine (including a new slave cylinder) but watching your video was a great help to understand the fiddle of getting the master out and new one in. I now just need to add fluid and start the bleeding process. 🍻
That spring is a bastard to fit. it defeated me but i was on my own, will give it a go when my knuckles have healed up a bit. And get a buddy to help... Well done good vid..

I had my LoF spring fitted at a garage during some other work and even they said how tricky/difficult it was !
I like your video, i did mine a month ago! moving the coolant reservoir to one side helped! but the bottom bolt on the master cylinder was very difficult on my own. I used a ratchet spanner and cable tied it to the pedal spring, so it would'nt move; and undid the nut from under the bonnet. However I didn't get on with the cylinder as my bite point was 1cm from the bottom and i was unable to change it without the pedal being very very high. So for now i have swapped back to original.
Hey James, looking back now I think maybe the spring as a simpler option is worth it. I had the same issue with a low bite point but after swapping out the slave cylinder due to failure it was better. Redone the carpets in my vehicle now and with the extra thick felt at the bottom and sound-deadening material it also seems to bite quite low, helps to remove the rubber mats but still keep them in for trips. My wife manages to drive as is without complaining.

Hi, the Spring only assists to bring the pressure required to press on the clutch down. The gear engagement remains the same when changing gears. It is more enjoyable to drive with a lighter clutch pedal.
