I love the Fujifilm X-A line. Great value and solid performance. Does the brand new X-A7 carry on that tradition? Follow me on Instagram - / wflbc Don't follow me on Twitter - / wflbc
I was considering this camera and I immeadeatly thought «I know someone will have a good review of this!», and you did not disappoint! Personally I really like the idea of that flip screen. Flip that sucker in, get a external optical viewfinder (meant for the X70), slap on the psuedo pancake XF18mm f2 and you got a X-Pro3 style camera in a tiny package. Anyway, thanks for the review!
Thank you for the review--I watched your other one on this model too. May I ask how you'd rank the video quality on this for someone used to higher-end cameras (I currently shoot with a Z7) and just needs something smaller and more portable, yet better than a cellphone? The rolling shutter on the Sony A6600 is nauseating, but from what I've seen these ones seem to do better with that at least.
Welcome to Oregon! Hope you are having or had a great time. Voodoo donuts is just one of many dangerous places to visit there. & yes I am waiting to see if there will be a Xt200!
There is a slight hiss and I don't know why. Same mic/cable/settings I normally use on X cameras. The continuous af is better than any previous X-A camera but ya, I was hoping for more.
@@Scott_Graham Thanks :), but oh no, Maybe I will buy the Sony A6100 instead... I was so in love by the Fuji X-A7 :( I got afraid when I start watching the AF performance on some youtube videos, it looked bad :(. Dpreview said that there was a kind of hiss similar to the one found on older Canon cameras :( (pre-amps are low quality) ua-cam.com/video/WTQfTxKnUw8/v-deo.html
Hi thanks for your video, I’ve checked some of your videos cause I’m trapped between A7 or T100 as I’m a beginner and a user iPhone 11 Pro so which camera suits me between A7 or T 100 ?
The X-T00 is great for photos but not great for video. The original A7 is ok but it’s getting a bit old and I know a few people who have had issues with mother boards and memory card slots. The IPhone 11 Pro is by far the best phone on the market for video and it better than either of these cameras for video. It’s astonishingly good for a phone. If it were me I’d keep using that phone and try to save a bit more money for a Fuji X-T30, a Sony A7III, a Canon RP, or a Sony A6400.
That’s what I need , a good camera that’s not so much complicated to capture good photos. For video I still can use 11 pro . For me iPhone 11 Pro it’s a great phone but to get specific excellent quality photos I still need a professional camera .
Your don't really give much detail on why you don't like the camera other than saying it's not as simple as XA5.. Eg. Bad handling with touch screen, slow autofocus, small buffer, bad build quality.
@@Scott_Graham I making some vlogs (not from current account) on action camera, and my Nikon SLR is old and have very bad autofocus, I just want to get 4k camera with nice sharp video, but googling show that such cameras like Panasonic GX880 can take just under 5 minutes of 4K and overheat, Sony A less than 6500 has also overheat, but longer times, but cost much more. So I wonder if I really need to buy Sony A6500 for 1200$ or I can go with such small Fuji So this Fuji can record 15 minutes of 4K, than you can just click "record" again to continue? Thanks )))

Type-C charging port also can be used with powerbanks. I heard at another review. By this way you can charge the camera if battery drained.

been thinking of picking this up for a back up camera to stay rolling while my xt3 is my main... or would you go with the xt100? good video man..
I'd pick up a used X-T20.
Great video. Usually I stay at the Ace when I’m in Portland. Those streets are so photogenic.
We ate at Clyde Common, so we got a taste of the Ace 👍 The Hoxton was pretty good too.
Scott Graham I’ll remember that for my next trip up there!
Can you tell which would be better fujiax7 or sonya6000?
"Uncle Owen, this X-A unit has a bad motivator!"
The AF seems very bad, like contrast AF, and it looks rather slow. Is it? :( Did you try an external Mic, is there an audio HISS?

Is this good for negative film scanning?
Kyle McDouggel has a video explaining how he scans with an X-A3, so imagine yes. ua-cam.com/video/9IBh8nO3dRw/v-deo.htmlsi=GSXuktTQc2zlbOAl
under 40k best video camera for prank videos shoot ?
is there a sound(white noise)problem with x-a7? If it has such a problem, can it be repaired?
I am also having same problem, can you help?
@@ikoyokay4073 sorry..i can't help u.. i bought x-t200..not x-a7...
Does it have overheat issue on 4K or not?
I've heard others mention it but I didn't have any issues with overheating. It did lock up once, I had to pull the battery out to reset it.
