A little "give" helps a woofer out sometimes. You're gonna need some durable ones. That's the problem with building things correctly, it'll show you the weakest links. Ironically you're subs will be it. I suspect a lot of woofer abuse incoming lol.
Hey EXO, I haven't had a chance to watch this video yet but there is something that I really want to say to you. Your Ion build along with all your other builds have kind of given me blueprints if you will to continue with my build that I am working on right now. And I really want to say thank you for everything that you have done because the way you go about explaining things and your sense of humor really resonates perfectly with me and obviously a lot of other people as well. So from me and I'm sure every other viewer of your channel thank you very much!
I check for your videos every day. I got all sorts of happy when I saw you posted. The amount of patience you have to work on all of that, and not rush it along is admirable. Thanks for bringing us along on the journey. Can't wait to see you enjoy the end results. I can't wait to enjoy it myself.
Bro same, the attention to detail and relatability to him makes his videos the best I’ve ever seen. Him and Steve meade should collaborate on a build one day that build would be legendary
Man, I love this build series. Your little side thing about the braces was a fantastic demonstration. And the amount of detail you go through to make everything perfect is insane. Plus the wholesome ass bday present and kitties! This episode has everything.
Yet another professional video. Exo never fails to capture my attention. Diagnostics and prevention maintenance aren't a factor in your average car audio video. Love your videos. Can't wait until the behemoth is complete, no rush. I want the details to continue.*staying tuned in*
You are the TRUTH !! In more ways than 1 The love and humanity shown towards Norfleet is what this world needs everywhere Bro !! 1LOVE--- KEEP ON BASSIN !!!
Ohhhhh, that's a slippery looking paint job, looks the goods. Welcome Norfleet. I am super thankful you are giving him a nice home and a visit to the Vet. You deserve nothing but happiness. Love ya EXO
Always a good day when you post man. What a great build your working on. Hope all is well with you. Again, it's great to see your build progress 👏 until next time.. keep on feeling that BASS 🔊
I found a tiny kitten at my work, extremely sick, so we fed him, game him meds in the food, worked with him so we could scruff him and give him meds for the ear mites. We called him beetle juice since that's what he looked like at first with his hair all messed up, and blood stained face. After we got him used to us, we opened the shop door and put the food bowl inside. He's been an indoor cat since and part of the other 2 we rescued as well. I tried adopting him out, but he's so adorable and reminds me of our kids, just talkative and wants to play with toys all the time. So I can't let him go. But it turns out he has Feline Leukemia. So he's a sickly kid, always in the vets, but we have a son that was a sickly kid making him even more like park of the family. So thousands later this super good looking little guy is my little buddy always at my side. Great job on the build as well. I'm getting anxious to hear it
Exo's attention to detail is incredible. The box will be built better than his van or any vehicle for that matter. I would even say it will be better built than most homes.
I HAD ONE OF THOSE WHEN I WAS A KID!!! I forgot about mine until you pulled that mickey out of the box. Thanks Sister EXO for the trip down memory lane!
Exo honestly I love how you set your mind to do it and do it my hole build so far I question my self if I'm doing it right or clean and always change my mind on it.
Made my day to see this video today!! Was cheesin the whole video!! 3 years ive been watching progress on this build and i get more excited to see it become what it is .cant wait to see it playing!!
Omg I found your channel again after 8 years I lost my old account and mane feels good to see you still doing what ya love! Hope you have a great day and stay blessed!
You have come a long way man! I started watching your videos maybe 16 or 17 years ago. Started with your minivan wagon you had. Your channel has grown with your knowledge, patience, and understanding of car audio. I have been by your side learning with you. And your positivity is amazing. You never let anyone's negativity or a mistake ruin your day.... your like the Bob Ross of car audio... here we have happy mistakes
Man I appreciate how you tackle everything. It was nice to see how loose that filler was inside the pipe. I imagined the globulous construction adhesive consistency and it sealing off air pockets, and causing back pressure. I sure am glad it worked!
So here's a thought for the white vs camera issue. I have a home theater setup where I use my wall for my screen and after spending a lot of time trying to figure out what to do about the glare and washout I finally found a remedy. I used my regular neutral gray but after I did a 50/50 coat of satin clear and paint to give the finish a translucent later for the ambient light to get trapped in. It does work on all colors and is super effective. Good luck and keep up the amazing job on this build.
cant wait to see this build get completed me and my fiancé have been following it but i lost my self towards the end of the vid that's such a pretty catington glad u took the little fella in
Check in on this series everyday - long time viewer. Love everything bass and stoked to see the finished product. I agree, white isn't the path. I like a black car with a huge 80's vibe in colorways inside. Pinks, purples, teals with splashes of a little white. Anything you go with will be sick but that's my vote.
I may have left the front metal square braces black as well, this is an amazing build and the patience and attention to detail you have is top notch!!!
Bro I love how you take your time and go through everything little by little to have an awesome finish. Keep up the work. I just can’t wait to see the finished product
EXO love it!! Your system looks good. Hay Bruce how's your gorgeous sister doing?? Dose she have a system in her ride?? Well if not you need to build her a box and hook a system up in her car. You have to give her the first demo of your new behemoth build on camera 💯 That would be beyond amazing to watch🤩👍
These vids are just as good as the bulk building, it’s like putting the cherry on top by dialing in finer details & rethinking last optimizations. You’re very inspiring to watch, I don’t know where you get the energy to do this alongside all your house projects
Awesome, man! Glad to see that my theory about the air getting trapped inside was completely wrong! Absolutely love the videos and the build is looking freaking awesome as usual! Love it, man!
Come to think of it: building such a big subwoofer involves a lot of everyday skills: carpentry, painting, woodwork in general. You're doing such an awesome job!
I have been around your channel for a while now and it feels so good to see how you just push on and push hard. Nothing but a smile on my face. Watched till the very end and love the new cat, cats are awesome have around.
Woohoo!!! It's a good day when you see EXO has posted, I've been eagerly awaiting this upload, I've missed ya man! Let all of us give you the will and strength to beat the tough times, just know the support is out there, love your videos bro!
0:53 - walled bass builds are basically massive sound enclosures, so this amplifies every tiny sound. Kind of same principle of how body of a guitar makes every string stroke sound much louder.
I love the colors, looks great!! Awesome new little buddy as well!! That was awesome of your sister to get you a replacement Mickey, that really hit the feels!! Happy belated long over due Birthday!!
Best wood paint I've worked with professionally (in sweden) is Pinja Protect GM, with enough airflow you can more or less walk on it after 6 hours, would cut the dry time of each layer down to like a day with a more realistic small single fan placed in one of the subwoofer holes.
EXO!! You are my main inspiration for car audio and RC cars. I have a Kicker CompC and an Arrma Granite soon to get an ECX Brutus. Im still 14 so i dont even have a car yet. Ive been watching you for like 5 years! YOU ARE AWESOME!!
I am loving the time and care you are putting into this. And it shows just how well patience and dedication lead to great results. Phenomenal work brother
Man it's lookin good. Glad to hear the supports filled properly. As for the white don't go with a bright white go for something slightly darker and going for a matte paint will help with blowout as it won't reflect as much. Semi gloss and gloss are respectively more reflective. Could also do it accent wall style and color match a wall to the subs if the branding has a specific color scheme.
Sweat I always be looking forward for your videos even if it is once a month or even a catch up video, you’re always even indirectly be teaching at least me new things to do for my build….. keep it up brody!
Your killing it man!!.. the attention to details is outstanding.. I'll admit when you first released that you was doing this build I thought.. oh great another walled off build in a "van".. but it's unlike any other build I've ever seen.. when it's finished it deserves a spot in a museum somewhere for real.. and the bass it's gunna permeate from every pour is gunna be orgasmic to say the least.. you've squashed any annoying resonance and truly built a behemoth db monster!.. can't wait to see the hair tricks now it's gunna be amazing.. thank you for sharing this with us all.. keep on bassin.. no body understands stereo therapy like a bass head lol
10:32 Juventa - Move Into Light (Ft. Erica Curran) (Koven Remix). The first thing that came in my mind was the song! It's dubstep! Move Into Light is a very generic made for kids to listen song, but is goes down to 33hz and have 28hz with 33hz to create that wobble effect that simulates a beat in lower frequency like you said at 10:43. Is so good to see you talking about this knowledge about audio, is audio engineer level. I use two different drivers to play different octaves, for example, the sub playing 30hz and the woofer playing 60hz, and sometimes I gain 6db or more by doing with. But the pure 30hz feels better to the ears and body, I only use the two together when I really want to party. Hehehehe. Edit: It is 38hz with 33hz, the 28hz is almost inaudible harmonic.
Desculpe por não escrever isso em inglês, o novo Gatinho veio pra trazer boas energias no projeto que esta ficando incrível! Cada dia estou mais ansioso pra ver como vai ficar esse monstro!
if you're still looking for a secondary colour, I think showtime green would go great with the showtime grey, to kinda represent the place you work at and get all your bass head gear at, yknow? just to really make it known how much we appreciate people like you and places like showtime who are always there whenever you need help :)
I'm happy you didn't go for white. It messes with the camera to much I agree. Gray looks super clean as well :) Another banger of a video man. Great job with the structure of the video and the editing once again 10/10 And as a animal lover my self, so happy you helped Norfleet out and kept him around 😊
Great progress on the build as always my man, looking absolutely stunning. Also amazing job with that sweet, gorgeous Norfleet. I also saved my boy Chicken from my best mates backyard after his mother had abandoned him at maybe 8 weeks old.
SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW 😊
Took a longgg time but the results are awesome 👌
cant wait to see when you get it to WORK
A little "give" helps a woofer out sometimes. You're gonna need some durable ones. That's the problem with building things correctly, it'll show you the weakest links. Ironically you're subs will be it. I suspect a lot of woofer abuse incoming lol.
This is really becoming one of the most thorough builds out there...
Can't wait to see the finished product bro I'm super excited
Been following the build from the start can't wait to see the finished product

14:37 "...fooouurr hours...." I had an Angry Joe flashback there.
Fantastic work, my girlfriend and myself always look forward to watching, you're videos are always top shelf.
Man, I love this build series. Your little side thing about the braces was a fantastic demonstration. And the amount of detail you go through to make everything perfect is insane. Plus the wholesome ass bday present and kitties! This episode has everything.
So happy for you don't having anymore any doubts on your bracing tubes.
As a painter your attention to detail is CRAZY!! Awesome work EXO! Looks amazing.
So awesome you took in the cute cat he looks so cool 🤘
Yet another professional video. Exo never fails to capture my attention. Diagnostics and prevention maintenance aren't a factor in your average car audio video. Love your videos. Can't wait until the behemoth is complete, no rush. I want the details to continue.*staying tuned in*

Awe thanks so much for taking Norfleet in and gettin him all fixed up. Sometimes the best Kitties are the ones that find you! 🤗
I think a Candy Apple Red will look so cool in this build
Just absolutely mind blowing 🤯✌🏻🏴
Coming home from a stressful day at work. Wife has dinner cooked and I'm sitting at my desk watching Exo's update on his van. Life is good
Always a good day when you post man. What a great build your working on. Hope all is well with you. Again, it's great to see your build progress 👏 until next time.. keep on feeling that BASS 🔊
😳🤯
This is the most meticulous project I’ve ever seen. You’re doing an amazing job.
I found a tiny kitten at my work, extremely sick, so we fed him, game him meds in the food, worked with him so we could scruff him and give him meds for the ear mites. Your the most positive car audio guy on UA-cam , love your videos keep on keeping on !!!!!!
Man I appreciate how you tackle everything. It was nice to see how loose that filler was inside the pipe. I imagined the globulous construction adhesive consistency and it sealing off air pockets, and causing back pressure. I sure am glad it worked!
That colour will definately complement the subs... that gift was the best 👍👍👍👍
Looking like a dream bro😊

This is an EXOllent Elevated Audio build. Much continued future success. Color option, what about a Ode Military Green?
So cool that you picked gray, cuz that's what I thought when you were making the decision. Gray is perfect
cant wait to see this build get completed me and my fiancé have been following it but i lost my self towards the end of the vid that's such a pretty catington glad u took the little fella in

How could you not like this guy? Animal lover, bass head, hard working dude! The smoke gray looks great.
These vids are just as good as the bulk building, it’s like putting the cherry on top by dialing in finer details & rethinking last optimizations. You’re very inspiring to watch, I don’t know where you get the energy to do this alongside all your house projects
Helping the little critters that need help. Love it man keep up all the hard work

You are such a good dude, this has been such a fantastic journey with you on this build.. I honestly never want it to end
I have been around your channel for a while now and it feels so good to see how you just push on and push hard. Nothing but a smile on my face. Watched till the very end and love the new cat, cats are awesome have around.

Historical ! ...i absolutely despise grey ! ..but this looks the part and is very utilitarian !...Spectacular job Bruce !
That grey is going to look sick, with the white subs, and all the black bracing 🙂
Such a bad ass, over the top build ! 👍 Keep on it bro !
The work you put into this videos is amazing! You always make me smile! Great job!
Happy Belated Birthday Brother from across the pond in South Wales UK , loving the build vids , cant wait for the finished look.......
the voice overs are 10/10, in like 4000 years this thing is gonna get dug up like the sphinx, its going to be in one piece all rust free.
Best wood paint I've worked with professionally (in sweden) is Pinja Protect GM, with enough airflow you can more or less walk on it after 6 hours, would cut the dry time of each layer down to like a day with a more realistic small single fan placed in one of the subwoofer holes.
Looks amazing EXO! Not only do you have an awesome sub design but the time and effort in editing these videos is incredible. Love your work man!!

I like the grey but purple would've popped in my opinion. Looking great bro. Can't wait to see it finished

looking very nice exo you are deffinitly an artist cant wait tell the next installment of the build
This video made me smile ear to ear! The Mickey Mouse doll from your sister and your reaction and Norfleet, priceless.
Hehehehe.
Edit:
It is 38hz with 33hz, the 28hz is almost inaudible harmonic.
The amount of detail is crazy appericate all that you putting out for us to all see and enjoy
Amazing attention to detail! Long time viewer just wanna say thanks and you're doin great👍
It's always good to see you post a new video. Hope you guys are doing good.
Gray looks super clean as well :)
Another banger of a video man. Great job with the structure of the video and the editing once again 10/10
And as a animal lover my self, so happy you helped Norfleet out and kept him around 😊
Great progress on the build as always my man, looking absolutely stunning. Also amazing job with that sweet, gorgeous Norfleet. I also saved my boy Chicken from my best mates backyard after his mother had abandoned him at maybe 8 weeks old.
