- Taking ages to fill between flushes? A common problem easily sorted.
(Note I have stuck with using the word "Pressure" as most people associate with that word, rather than, flow rate, as the reason for slow filling}

Top advice as always Al,thank you very much.
Very welcome
Great video as always mate. Helped me out hugely a while back and now regularly watch the videos regardless. Cheers
No Problem J M, pleased you enjoy watching them.
I recently encountered two instances of this problem, and in both cases it was caused by a combination of hardened black diaphragms and a low pressure feed. The toilets were seldom used, the diaphragms had become moulded against the (red) seating, and the low pressure feed struggled to push them out of the way. I was on the cusp of installing new valve assemblies, but replacement diaphragms immediately resolved the problem.
Thanks for the great tips.
I think you have CCTV in my house😂. Every video is my latest problem!
Ha ha good timing then Camille.
Dereton University 👍
Ha ha 😂
Great video once again, quick question when I flush there seems to be no suction in the lever I have to lift it up and try again, it works but there still seems it only has half flush? Any advice would be appreciated.
The syphon washer is torn.
Do you ever have any use for self amalgamating tape in plumbing?
No not really.
Mine is very slow but I don't have any of those features. Could it be the black diaphragm! Does that get blocked with limescale or whatever?
No, it will be a filing problem
@@dereton33 Filing? Loose filings in the system? There's been no work done on the system for years.
@@johnsaunders1945your will be a close couple cistern? (Push button) u can litterly change the ballcrane without disconnecting it all , turn your mains off or if have a single isolation valve at wc turn that off , turn the ballcrane anti clock wise until it comes off and replace it , wen applying new 1 just put it down and turn clock wise until tight 👍
@@pkjhm Sadly no, but thank you very much for the Idea.
My toilet was filling up slowly but fix know but makes a judging noise at the end when it filled up
Slow the water rate down via the isolation valve.
