Hey Ben recently my battery went completely dead after being at the shop for over a month for an injector job. Long story short my puddle lights from the wing mirror don’t work all the time when unlocking the car+ the lamp button on the remote as well sometime works. Any comments on resetting?
evening ben it really makes a change to watch range rover videos were the person or owner does not slag these fantastic cars off, bought a 2007 4.2 supercharged in 2015 changed to 2012 4.4 four yrs ago simply for economy seen it all before were buyers are thinking they can service these for same cost as a fiesta dream on.

Yeah the L322 has some good features, even small things like how the fuel fill door pivots open easily, but also locks itself when the car is locked. There is also a little fuel cap holder while you're filling up. The all windows down & sunroof open feature via the key fob is great on a hot summer day!
Do you know to turn on Rear entertainment screens in a rr sport 2010 as drivers side is on but passenger side wont switch on using power button on that screen
Ben Open car door and lean in then Press headlight button 3x and then press unlock , turns the keyless entry off to stop key fob transmitting a signal when car is locked and not in use Then just use remote to lock and unlock car. To activate keyless entry again press headlight button 3X and press lock button!
Good stuff. Wish I had one!. It’s the high road tax here in the UK that puts me off also. I think it’s over £500:pound up to 2014 when it drops to £365 or something.
For the most recent UK cars, there is a £325 extra road tax charge on top of the normal £150. This applies for 6 years if the car costs more than £40k when new. After that it goes down to £150 a year. Some of the smaller Land Rovers are below the £40k so only cost £150 a year - eg you can still get a new Evoque under £40k.... I know cos I just bought one :-)

Morning Ben. After watching your vid with the suspension problem on the l322 I’m looking at that diagnostic tool On eBay. It doesn’t mention the eas fault clearing facility on the spec? Does it cover eas faults ?
My icarsoft LR V2, reads suspension faults and clears suspension fault codes. Only thing it won’t do is calibrate the suspension, but I have the GAP tool for doing that.
i know it 3yrs old this vid but the front passenger door wont open from inside the car,it does open from outside,any idea if it could have been accidently locked so it dont open from inside the car?as i have to open it from outside to let my wife out...lol..thnx ROB from uk 🚗
It sounds like the inside handle has become disconnected from the door mechanism. You’d have to pull the door card off to see. Got some free manuals over on my website, they might help you take it apart.
Ben can you do a more in depth tour of the 753 menu as to what is in each section of it and what you believe it does. I think that would be really good content for a newer range. I’ve not see this video anywhere yet
Hi Ben, I think to access service menu for oil level etc you have to turn ignition on but don’t start it.. then navigate to service menu and it should be available. James.
Ben, don’t worry, I have just bought a 2011 Vogue SE and that hasn’t got rear TVs either. Guessing it was a cost option. I was also wondering if you could lock it in access mode, for low height barriers, etc. V handy to know, cheers!
There are some rogue ones out there, but you only hear the bad stuff on the internet. You don’t hear about the people that have had no problems. If it’s good got service history and you keep on top of maintenance, it’s no more unreliable than any other car.
Love your channel. My car is the L322 TDV8 A , it has the rear screens in the headrest so I think it’s SE spec “but” what does the A stand for it’s a 2011 . I’ve had the car for ages and not tried out all the stuff it can do , cheers Ben I’m now going to play with my R R .
Hello Ben hope your well fella, I spoke to you about a month ago about an L322 2007 right bank cover leaking. I said it needs the lid off. You said not sure thats right. I asked a quote from these guys near southend. They quoted a whopping 1175.00 pounds for the job. No mention in the breakdown of top off. This is for a gasket leaking not very much oil. I can smell it in The heating. Right so i am no mechanic... But i am a 52 year old mechanical engineer at Quaife engineering. (its a totally differwnt thing). ive been of this trade 30+ years so im ready to have a go at this. Where is the best place to get a quality haynes manual type of manual? Also i know replacement parts are rr preferable but are aftermarket parts quality?

Interesting vid, I wise the newer ones had a dipstick as it takes about a week for the dash to let you know the oil level.....! No so bad with the ingenium as they are either full just after changing the oil or half empty and rattling due to needing an engine.....!
Hi Ben. My L322 is a 2011 facelift model 4.4, which makes getting some spares a nightmare, especially audio/electrical orientated stuff. Something that has cropped up on the tft display on the outer rim between the 150mph marker and the fuel pump logo is a yellow marker similar to a yellow crayon pointing in towards the centre of the dial. Any ideas on what this is as even some Land Rover guys are mystified

If I could get my hands on one then I would, but it would be just the same features that I have shown in this video. they are not really hidden features, as they can all be found in the owners manual.
Extended height is more about extending the suspension to clear rocks etc and prevent bottoming out when off-road, is my understanding?! 🤔 I never understood why the hazards have to be on when changing suspension from outside the car?! 🤔 Another interesting featurette is that, after removal you can refit your Brembo brake callipers upside down!! No I didn’t learn that until yesterday......DOH! 🙈😂
Extended height is on top of the off road height, you have no control over the extended height as it automatically operates when the car bottoms out or struggles on one of the wheels and traction control is not helping.
Ben do you have any thoughts on the 4.4 vs the 3.6? Is it worth paying the extra for the better mpg? I was watching a video from Harry's Garage on his L322 and he reckons the 3.6 is defo the one to go for. Cheers!

@@johannwolf1 yes it’s a 3.6 diesel, putting out around 300hp since it’s remap. Powerful and good on fuel. It’s a Ford engine that Land Rover used at the time.

And it's rumored that if you know someone that really likes you at the stealership, that you can mysteriously get that function put back on the vehicle!!! But I'm gonna go out on a limb and bet that there aren't many that have acquired this superpower!!! ... due to legal ramifications... I assume that you can, my 2010 has the newer HD version Sat Nav (which I have only used once). Daytime running lights should be turned ON, they are mandatory in N. America and all other civilized nations. Maybe you can take some interest and do a bit of reading on the benefits of that feature . Just a suggestion.....Oh, and try driving in access height to find out out what happens and at what speed and film it instead .
Good point, I have always used a motorcycle with the headlights on during the day as people just don't see you. I'll film a suspension locked in access, thanks, good idea.

I did that lil trick... But now I can't seem to go back to keyless!!! 😵😵😵

Great video...never knew to hold the suspension button down to “lock” it into that height...and my manual is in English 🤣
If you ever find your sunroof won't auto-retract, press and hold the sunroof switch for 20 seconds to recalibrate it.
I had to re calibrate the window one touch after changing the battery using a similar technique.

£48 a month I pay for my range rover sport about 550 a year but is a lovely car I would say the lr4 and l322 are same tax bracket lol

From what I can work out there was an HSE, Vogue, Vogue SE and the Autobiography. The 'A' could mean Autobiography possibly.

Sounds like the flag indicating the speed at which it will alert you. Ie tell me when I'm doing 100 mph, so I don't lose my license!

Harry’s garage swayed my decision towards the 3.6. That and the fact they are about 5-6k cheaper than the 4.4 here in France.
