Seeing all the hinges and wires makes me curious how you'd tackle a robot-themed doll. Maybe a robot dragon or a Vocaloid type character? It would be a great way to reuse lots of found materials that would normally go to waste.

This is kind of perfect, and I like how other people notice the lack of male fairies. I play Dnd, and my character is a male fairy bard named Twig. I have been searching for some good male fairy concept art for about 4 months, and I haven't found a single one that fits him.
No idea is impossible! You just need to find an artist! emirichu has a video about her own DND fairy and she has drew some male fairies in the video. I also have a book with male fairies. More of pixies. I am an artist myself. If you don't mind starting a conversation with me.

The mistakes in the wings can help the doll look like it's lived and gotten hurt as the character has aged and lived life. Overall the doll looks amazing!

As a guy who's always loved fairies this collaboration is so exciting to see! And I also love seeing winged dolls from you. I absolutely love the crystal details too, it's a pretty simple technique but the results turned out amazing!

18:40 I think it's because of Heath's more angular features that lend themselves to the fairy/elf character. He has a more muscular body than the other MH boys (from what I can remember) so it adds to the elemental spirit vibes, since Heath was a fire elemental.
Also, this is one your best outfits yet!! I love it 🥰😍❤️💕💝
It was Gil who was slightly more muscular, because he had a unique body mold to give him scales!
I actually said "oOoOO" aloud when you showed the resin crystal with the fairy film. I never thought of making leftovers into glitter!
The concept reminds me of a mix of Jackie Frost and the king of winter from ever after high. It’s a really BEAUTIFUL doll!

My two favorite are your's and dollightful's, I do hope to see another winter fairy, like mentioned in your collab video the two concept art's. The Peppermint fairy could have a
twin brother, the first art of the winter fairy looks like a warrior with a magical ice lantern, while our peppermint fairy protect candyland from the evil Lord Black Licorice.
I drew my own female ice cream fairy, her body suit arm guards and legs are ice cream cones, swirl ice cream for hair with sprinkles, melt drip around her neck

Ah gosh, the cellophane reminds me when I used to cosplay, my friend and I made HUGE wings with cellophane and hairspray, so many layers and they turned out really well for how big / new we were to making anything of the sorts, it’s always so nice to see it again
I love how this year, you didn’t just incorporate xmas like the past years, but just the season in general. I think there should be more general holiday dolls

I actually used some of her art as references for my drawings... I'm nowhere as skilled as she is, but the horn references for one of the dragons (I think it was Nyx) she made, have helped me out so much...

I love how she’s gotten a long way with her resin crystals I remember how foggy galcions crystal’s turned out (poor crystals also stained from what I remember)
I love the irony of using a fire elemental doll to create an ice fairy as well as the unintentional pun of ferry the pieces back

Have you ever considered making mechanical steampunk wings? looking at the creation of the wings it just looked so cool and I’d love to see some wings made of metal
Seeing the hinges and bolts, I was also thinking steampunk wings would be the easiest to use this technique for. The bulky hinges and bolts would fit right in as an intentional design.
Heaths face mold is so pretty, the face up you did really brought that out, I don't think I've really noticed how good it was before.
i will never get tired of watching the face ups. whether it’s pastels and pencils or just acrylic paints. every face up is always so impressive and they just keep getting better and better

I’m getting a 6 hour tattoo right now, going over pretty sensitive areas right now, so I’m really really really happy that it just so happened that I just caught this video, it will give me some needed distraction from the needles digging into my skin 😅

Sometimes it is legitimately hard to believe that these dolls actually exist like they are so mindblowingly detailed. that is true art right there.

8:43: when I was looking at how you made them, I was expecting them to just be reddish fairy wings with icy tips, but omg than is awesome! I really like how the bottom wings look more frosty then the top ones. It kinda makes sense, because he's an ice elf,(??) and probably has a really cold body temperature. If his low body temperature is below freezing, than the bottom wings would freeze up more due to exposure to his cold body, while his top wings would be slightly more melted due to exposure to air. If his boy temperature is not below freezing, and/or he lives in a place that is so cold it wouldn't allow his wings to thaw at all, than we can say it's just coloring.
Ahh the wings look so gorgeous!! All 3 fairy dolls in the collab put together look like an adventuring party to me, very different personalities but the mystical vibes all work together.

Dollightful’s doll clothes making ability is impeccable. Like, usually showing the process, and her mentioning the imperfections (if there are any), I’m more looking at it as something she made, but seeing just the end product with nothing in between really makes me notice her skill and the effort she must’ve put into it. It looks professionally made (which I guess it is)

Sorry for being so late but I am rewatching all your videos. I remember some of you Izzy or other cellophane wing dolls and you drew on some of veins of the wings and those had no air bubbles. I am not saying that these wing don't look good but I just remembered those

The spray adhesive left a texture on the wings, I don't think you planned it but it looks like frost wich looks so good on this doll, truly a happy accident XD also, will you make the coat a pattern available on your Etsy store?

Sealing things with candles always reminds me of roasting seaweed paper over a burner. I set so many on fire when i was younger but now I can do it just by feel.
Wow, he looks so nice! His face came out great, it's really impressive that you can do such clean lines with a brush. You mentioned you wanted to not need to use MSC anymore, have you ever tried the Vallejo airbrush matte varnish? Since you already have an airbrush station, it might be an alternative. You can use it with pastels and watercolor pencils just like you would with MSC. But the disadvantage is that you have to use and clean your airbrush, so... It's not a perfect option either lol

Dollightful is so great to watch while sick. You can get just so lost in the words and the motions, so its a great distraction from the uncomfort of being sick

I love it when you do male dolls you give them way better hairstyles than any factory brand could, I always love when UA-camrs talented like you guys give them unique and non plastic solid hair ^w^ as well as very unique beautiful clothes!!

Katherine, I doubt you’ll ever see this, but I just wanted to say that I bought my first doll for repaint purposes and I’m so excited, and I have you to thank for getting me into doll repaints. I didn’t know it was a thing until a few years ago (when I stumbled across your channel), but I’m so happy I learned about it. I’m gonna paint one of my d&d characters and I think it’s gonna be awesome. Thanks for being awesome and just generally inspiring me to try a new hobby.
