- Process of creating "Porcelana" - the 6th Tempest Doll full set BJD. Grab a cup of tea and watch this relaxing art process of creating one of a kind art doll. This is a ball jointed doll, which means You can pose her as You wish. She is completely handmade and unique. (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
The doll is made of resin, but decorated in a way to look like porcelain. With golden accents and ultramarine pattern she resembles a fancy teacup. And whenever we think of porcelain, we think of its origin - Asia. Hence my inspiration for the shoes, headpiece and a lantern-like earrings.

Hello, I'm Marta Żary, creator of Tempest Doll - original ball jointed dolls. My dolls are made of resin, with very limited quantity. Every single one is unique and one of a kind, made entirely by me. These dolls are meant for collectors and art enthusiasts. You can pose and style them however You like.
She is absolutly gorgeous. The way her proportions are just that little bit too long gives her a delicate and otherworldly energy. The gold joints draw attention to something that other doll makers try and hide, and I feel as if they weren't there, she would seem almost too human. You have made a truly incredible doll.

Oh my, this is so beautiful, I'm gonna cry ♡(╥﹏╥)♡ I'm so happy I was able to bring You some emotions with my art, because that is the artist's ultimate goal - not just creating something pretty. Whenever I create a new doll (especially less realistic like this one), I think it's for this one person in the world that will feel the connection with her, a bond, a sort of nostalgia, the feelings that could not be surfaced otherwise. Every doll has its one designated owner who just needs to be found. At least that's what I like to think.

I may be completely ignorant on the subject, but here is my opinion anyway :
The craftsmanship in these is way beyond anything they had at the time.
The spread of ideas and techniques when it comes to innovation and creativity have only reached such a level in human history now.
Unless those people who say our earth has already been through several cycles & the cycles reached and surpassed levels similar to our era ; then there is no chance.
It’s only thanks to the mass spread of crafts and techniques combined with the idea that art needs to be old / nothing modern is ever worth being placed on the same level as the old masters ( unless you have mega money & or mega connections to people like 99.9% of all artists who have achieved any success in the last 100 years ! )
It’s the fact that you need to be a million times better then not just history’s masters but leagues above anyone alive in the world atm combined with all new techniques you invent yourself….
The world of art is one big joke & only true masters can stand out in our era, and even then many true masters without unique, creative, and innovative ideas, techniques, etc. remain nameless & never to be remembered by history…. There one bet is for their art to be discovered far into the future after most of the worlds modern art has turned to dust, been thrown in the garbage or a similar such thing.

I love the hearts on the knees it’s an adorable detail
I love how the ball joints are gold as well, it really evens out the doll and its color pallette. She's beautiful! So fragile and delicate looking maybe even a little oriental. They way you strung her together was so satisfying as whenever I do it it's a mess. I've been wanting to sculpt a bjd of my own and this gives me inspiration to go with something a little more stylized.
I know I’m late for a reply and I thought it is an interesting fact that ties in with what you said about the gold, did you know in many places they use gold to fix broken porcelain and glass to make sure it’s still beautiful (because even if someone/something is broken it is still beautiful) and it often is paired with similar designs as the ones on the doll! I thought it was a cool fact and wanted to share!

@@ICICLES-CRUEL Based on the textbook definition of the word, I'd say it's not offensive. But I get where you're coming from.
In particular I'm thinking fine china- originally created during the Tang dynasty. Though the blue and white, I believe, is more of a Dutch tradition called delftware? It's been a while since I've read up on this stuff. I'm just a huge fan of pottery and the word "oriental" is used a lot in descriptions.

If it quacks like a duck but you haven't seen it walk yet, can you be really sure if its a duck or not? Hope that makes sense! But yeah I agree, its giving delicate glazed china with melded cracks.
gosh, i didn't even know this was handmade, literally just look at it! i thought you were merely putting together a pre-made doll that you bought from someone else, only to see the blue paints all over your palette.
though i'm not much of a fan of the lengthy perportions, i absolutely am in love with the intricate patterns--they remind me so much of those days where my father would pour tea from a similiar-looking procelain pot during our breaks, and we would just spend our days drinking tea together

Even the way you tilted her head made it look like she was real, it's baffling me how elements of her face, painted on, put together have given such a complex and lifelike expression
It's like she was made from the earth the clay being the purest of calcium and the gold bleeds through her while her body is painted from the sky above such an amazing sculpture truly looks delicate

I like her, the grotesque body proportions (for a healthy human being, no shade) combined with the beautiful, tragic ceramic art style and the golden joints really speak to my own hypermobile joints and generally rickety body (which is lovely as well, if a bit... unusual). I've never liked a BJD doll as much as this, she speaks to me like a favourite painting - thank you very much for sharing.

I love how detailed yet simple it is. A small color palette of blue, white and gold but is detailed in every place you look to the symmetric pattern on her head to the gold tipped hands. Absolutely a wonderfully made doll.

более чем согласен, да здалано все красиво но выглядит страшно, особенно в собраном виде по отдельности детали зделаны красиво но я ЭТО в руки добровольно не взял бы, я из украины и наши мотанки тоже своеобразны но не до такой же степени.
Специально пересмотрела видио. Ничего мистически страшного не увидела. Красивая интерьерная кукла. Видела вязаных героев мультфильмов для детей!- вот это действительно страшно. Выполнены прекрасно, но я бы их не хотела. В японских и китайских фильмах и мультфильмах много необычных героев и довольно жутковатых, а эта очень хороша. Я бы преобрела такую, но думаю что дорого стоит...Не люблю кукол Реборн( правильно?). Вот они действительно для меня жуткие.

It' s a plagiarism of the great russian artist Marina Bychkova😒. About 10 years ago, she did limited series of Gzhell and Khokhlomá styles.
