As much as I adore your complicated projects like your dragons and halloween dolls, I really love how in your videos for simpler projects, you have more time to really dig into the specifics and intricacies of your craft, like how rerooting works or the right motions for removing factory paint.

I love how each individual accessory can be made relatively easily with a bit of paint and charms, but how it looks so pretty that you still know how much time and effort was put into the whole doll. I also love that you put in the big mistakes in your videos to show that not everything will go perfectly. I absolutely adore your channel and all of the dolls you make and you’ve definitely inspired me (as someone who loves to draw) and kept me staying artsy.

Owwww, I love her. The face looks calm and shy but full of personality nonetheless. I think it goes extremely well with the angel wings and together it makes for such a sweet, soft, dreamy and fun vibe. I actually started applying my blush in the way she does for her dolls, like blending into my eyes and cheekbones as well as my cheeks, because I thought it looked so cute on the dolls! I love it, it makes me feel so pretty!
She has heterochromia! I have central heterochromia, where the color around the pupil is different than the color next to the sclera. Mine have a golden brown by the pupil and a grayish bluey-green by the sclera. Estelle is so adorable! I'm glad we're back on the rainbow train, but I'm excited to see this year's Spooktober and Holiday additions :D
Is that what it's called? I have the same thing, but I was always told that my eyes were just "grayish blue". That's really cool though, I'm gonna Google it to be sure tho
@@LordSaccharine666 i think there’s overlap, but you can have one without the other. as far as i know, people will call eyes hazel whenever they’re somewhere between brown and green (even if the irises all all one uniform colour) but with central heterochromia there’s a clear difference between the two colours

I've had a character from a personal project that has a a gradient thing of mint to blue to purple hair but a little less pastel. They had sort of curly short hair that I joke with friends about it looking like broccoli because I felt a bit self conscious and stupid for using that over the top hair colour. Seeing this doll with a much lighter version looking beautiful has made me think about drawing that character again and not retiring them because I felt like it was childish no matter how much I loved colouring it. Honestly thanks for that because I do love that character and the story they're involved in and I just scrapped it for no reason that was reasonable. Thank you Katherine for inspiring me again!!!!

I don't know how or why but she looks goth to me. The hair, eyebrows, and teeth, all just give her a "I'm punk don't mess with me" vibe and it's adorable to see it paired with pastels. This is the most character I've ever seen you make in a doll!
Well, if I remember correctly, the punk scene of Japan (as this character is based on Japanese Street fashion) was the be overly cute rather than be spikes and all black of the west

Every time you post, it’s like Christmas. Your work is beautiful! You put so much into these dolls, so much sewing, painting, sculpting, re-rooting, etc etc, it’s all so careful and precise and comes out looking perfect. Every doll you make- yes, make, the word ‘customize’ is an extreme understatement since you practically create these dolls- is amazing! As an artist, your videos constantly inspire me. The petticoat got me imagining different outfits that could be cute on a small doll like this. You know those wedding dresses that have the undergarment look, with the boning and structure showing and stuff like that, I feel like that could be a really cute concept for a small dress for a doll. Something like the petticoat for the skit with a corset-like bodice.

I've had a character from a personal project that has a a gradient thing of mint to blue to purple hair but a little less pastel. They had sort of curly short hair that I joke with friends about it looking like broccoli because I felt a bit self conscious and stupid for using that over the top hair colour. Seeing this doll with a much lighter version looking beautiful has made me think about drawing that character again and not retiring them because I felt like it was childish no matter how much I loved colouring it. Honestly thanks for that because I do love that character and the story they're involved in and I just scrapped it for no reason that was reasonable. Thank you Katherine for inspiring me again!!!!
