This happens over and over. He never runs, he never uses any other tools. He just... slowly walks away, turns around, and whips you right in the dome... until you die.
Except in order of ecclesia, if you get too close to him, he will punch you or use another technique and uses all kinds of spells like destruction or fatal ray, bat moon, summon panters, soul steal and even his most powerfull spell; demonic meggido. So he learned a lesson or two somehow hehe
Eventually you get wise to his shit, and possess one of his descendants into working for you instead. You think you've finally gotten the hang of how these guys fight, and have crafted the perfect counterattack...only for your son to show up and put your weird pseudo-Xenomorph head things in a blender and hit "Puree".
That dialogue with Sonia and Dracula in CV Legends was surprisingly good for being such an early game, and on the Gameboy no less. More poignant than a lot of CV stories tbh

Most Dracula fights are ace in Vania games but my personal fav is Portrait of Ruin's. Fighting both Dracula and Death at the same time is challenging and awesome at the same time

Castlevania Legends was at one point the prequel for the whole series, so chronologically Sonia was the first Belmont to defeat Dracula, but it was made non-canon in favor of Lament of Innocence as that game was established as the origin of the timeline.

By the Gods, Super Castlevania's music is - so - unbelievably - good! For me personally other CV OSTs are fantastic as well but there has never been a soundtrack that invokes the same feeling or sounds equal in composition as the SNES one.
SCIV has probably the strangest soundtrack in the CV franchise - this sort of jazz, acoustic gothic band fusion was never explored again in the series, creating a sound so unique that I admire them for doing it in the first place. Its a shame it was never explored again in the series

this isn't every fight ever.... you didn't include lament of innocence. Technically you use the vampire killer on Walter who is then killed by death and his soul is given to Mathias. Walter was technically the OG Dracula

Well, that's your opinion, but I find the form more unique. However, if you're talking about it being a challenge for a final boss, then yea I can see why cause you can easily beat him and most bosses with the crissaegrim but you can make it challenging with just other weapons with alucard anyways

I'm mainly interested in the console version of V RISING getting the option of other camera angles like modders immediately gave the pc version for free which sold more copies of their game due to making it drastically more fun for gamers.
These boss fights seem pretty underwhelming. I was expecting more than just magic projectiles and teleportation from DRACULA. But I guess it’s too much to ask the programmers to make his attack patterns a lot less predictable.
I see that Dracula in the earlier games especially with Castlevania Legends he's actually much closer to his original book incarnation where he was hell bent on world domination but sadly all of that was retconned by IGA much later on who simply adopted Francis Cord Coppla's film with the whole "Romantic Angle" and Dracula instead is now hell bent on genocide of humanity over his dead wife which not only doesn't make sense at all but ruins his credibility as the series main antagonist when you attempt to make him too "sympathetic" even if it's done in poor taste since the real Dracula would have never needed a "true love" where he simply sees women as nothing but extensions of his conquests where he could have simply made Sonia Belmont and even Shanoa into one of his many brides should they have lost the battle where maybe it could have been also the main reason why Women in the Belmont clan were strictly forbidden to face Dracula hencefoward why only Male members of that bloodline faced him from that time foward probably due to Sonia's best wishes perhaps.

The gameplay is somewhat similar to DmC GOW but is fun. The storyline is great for all 3 games except the ending.
Too bad Dracula is so easy in SotN if you over level, fight is much better if you go there early.
Everything in SotN is too easy. Game balance was not one of their strong suits for that one.
