I see no good future for corporate travel management. Industry sentiment towards travel has changed a lot with the use of Zoom meetings and Microsoft teams etc etc etc. I just can't see staff travel being a priority in any business moving forward.
Yes, I think that reducing corporate travel is going to be an easy win for businesses looking to cut costs. They will probably still have face-to-face meetings, but not nearly as many.
@@k23man That's not what I'm seeing. A number of companies I invest in have commented in the last 12 months that it has been important to resume travel for their key executives to strengthen business relationships with clients and customers. The comments are usually along the lines that in-person meetings are critical to to get deals / contracts completed as well as winning new business.
@@9slideglide You'd probably know better than me. My workplace doesn't really facilitate travel at all. If you have firsthand knowledge, that is probably more reliable than my assumptions.
