Gidday Kneppy. Just wanted to say thanks for all your help in understanding charts. I watched another video on short-term trading. .it used a 5 / 20 cross as a buying signal. I backtested a few stocks only at this stage to see if it would help get into some longer term trades that you showed . Quite often, it positioned you into the stocks prior to the breakout. Anyway, I just thought I would put the notion out there. You would need to write yourself some rules or change the cross period slightly for the buy side depending on risk appetite, etc. Many thanks once again.

Hi Kneppy, all I can get are lines. How do we fill them in? Do I need a tradingview subscription. Using "moving average ribbon" under technicals, is there another?
Similar question, I can set up the MA with ribbon, but still can't figure out how to fill them with colours. I would like to know how to create short term moving average to help decide entry points. @Kneepy, if you could kindly share this with us. You do amazing work. Thank you.
@@michaeldjordjevic8189 I think I figured it out. You don’t need subscriptions, only required if you want multiple Indicators shown all the time. You can have two indicators shown at a time on free account. Go Indicators, search for MA_ribbon. I only found one but Kneepy may have created a few for himself. Change the EMA to 25, 50, etc. The gap between them will be filled with colour. He also use Daily (D), then weekly (W) charts. Pause one of his videos and look on the top left corner. I searched for the same company and played with the numbers within the MA_ribbon until my chart kinda looks like his. I hope this helps.
