Yes, the board has approved a sale to Renesas Electronics in Japan. What happens now is Renesas needs approval from the ALU shareholders, the Australian courts, and the regulators. They offered A$68.50 per share, and the stock is sitting just below this at A$67.60 in recognition the sale hasn't yet completed, and there's always a risk it doesn't go through. As we near the completion date, or more approvals are met, the stock price on the ASX will creep up as investors see the sale more likely to happen.

Dividends are also unlikely between now and the sale, as the new shareholders will likely want to retain profits as part of the sale
