Been playing since it was open Alpha and fell in love with it from the beginning. After some months I got burned out but still manage to come back for weeks after every content update. This game is magical, and somehow hearing this soundtrack makes me feel nostalgic. 10/10

What a fabulous storyteller, I can’t emphasis the amount of times I’ve played this game. So many hours of just pure trial and error. It’s also incredible to look at how far this game has come and the new mechanics that are being worked on daily. The mod community is just one subtle motion of ease that presents a strong concur pathway of just constant development after constant developments I can’t stress how much this game has change and how it’s impacted my perspective on colony building simulators.
:D amazing, so much frustration. i tried the newly added biome. ice sheet, i survived by eating prisoners. but it did not end well for poor Starvistan.

The thing is it's a small game and you can just google this and download RimWorld in seconds for free on so many sites. People are pirating this game as we speak and he will make no money with this plus just like me so many people only wait for a Steam release. But whatever if he wanst to lose money that's not my problem people won't buy $30 game if they can just google it and download the newest version for free, RimWorld will not be the next MineCraft. Deny the game to the Steam community which is the biggest and the world is just stupid, I only heard from RImWorld because of Twitch and buzz marketing from the Prison Architect community.

Is there any way to make textures bigger? I tried changing the resolution, but it didn't help. Feels like everything's getting smaller with each update.

just gunna throw this out there... Multiplayer? As in a world would be a server and a player could take a chunk for themselves. not sure how raiding other's chunks would work but just an idea. Would definitely make generating entire worlds more useful. Or even just being able to leave your chunk loading in another. Could have mapping and coordinates and such.

BTW definitely think hard before putting this on Steam, reason being I don't think it would appeal to the LCD audience that the AAA studios aim for, and I wouldn't want your dev rating on there to suffer when people are like "too much random num gen is unfair!! its too hard!! hold my hand!! nerf this now or I'm gonna hold my breath!!" and all that sort of thing.. This game strongly appeals to people who enjoy micromanagement and I don't know how you've found your audience but you did. I wish you tons of success and I hope you change this industry for the better, you have certainly flipped my own ideas of addictive game design on it's head.. no grinding, no excess baggage, just constant unpredictability and depth.. Amazing job I'm very interested to see how you progress! Thanks for the amazing game!!

Herp Derpingson well in strategy games, all you get are unintelligent AI. Paradox games show you that they give the A.I. Hax instead of making them act smarter. so does civ, they get tech advanteges.

Love this game SO much. I don't want to count how many hours i've spent on this game. hundreds I bet; And It's in Alpha; Still fresh and every time a new patch comes out, there goes another 30 hours. Love this game. Just wish the patches weren't soo far apart and with arguably little content at times :/ A bit slow, so to speak. Mods help a lot though ^^
Tynan, i remember you saying that you are not sure that, if we bought the game now, we will get steam codes for it, when it is released on steam, due to some stupid steam policies. Its the reason why I am pirating this game (sorry about that). But when you are 100 % sure that we will get it, or when the game comes on steam, I will surely buy it :)

Those are AI and they are smart. Some are just smarter than others. If you are looking for proper AI, you have to read about machine learning.
