So Chief Robert’s position is that: you can’t trust a jury, judge, or government prosecutor. So, why doesn’t that apply to his own court? This is disgraceful.
It already applies to his own court, which is why he's adamant that he doesn't think Congress has the authority to pass a code of ethics that the Supreme Court should be bound by, but also that the Supreme Court shouldn't have to pass and abide by its own code of ethics.
Well Roberts position is whatever contortion is needed to deliver the decision that his KEEPERS (whether keepers via bribery, friendship or extortion) want on a given day. I suspect that Governor Kristi Noem and Roberts are both of the same moral and intellectual caliber (that is: rock bottom).
In Australia Supreme Court judges retire at 70. Your legal system needs to be amended and needs to get away from political appointments.
In Australia , judges are appointed on their education qualifications and their legal experiences and has nothing to do with their political preferences and it does work.

And Senate. These justices must be impeached; the number of justices must be expanded to cover each of the nation’s districts; and the Senate must confirm progressive judges to full the court.

The question before the Supreme Court is: Do we have a King or not? It's not that hard!
That's the first question. The second is whether it should define the scope and extent of any immunity or leave it to a lower court. Thus the debate. This case is more than about trump. If presidents have no immunity then you can bet that many decision makers are in criminal jeopardy.

That was a great discussion with Judge Luttig. It’s a drag that he’s not on the Supreme Court because he clearly knows what he’s doing and those Justices don’t have the same kind of educational knowledge of the Constitution that Judge Luttig has.

Some members of the current Supreme Court will be judged harshly by history. Judge Luttig will be revered by history. In the here and now it is the likes of Judge Luttig who are making a valuable contribution towards the defence of the Republic and democracy. To say the judge has become a legend in his own life time is to underestimate his contribution. Thanks to Meidas for providing Judge Luttig with opportunities to share his opinions and wisdom.

If this is the case we can't prosecute any criminals. This is the sole purpose of having a legal system.
Thank goodness there are still judges like Judge Luttig, who remember that the Constitution is interpreted by The Supreme Court, and you don’t reach the Supreme Court, and start making up decisions!
