... don't let one common sense idea blind you to the fact that this is *FAR* from over, even if Trump is convicted, Joel.
First - even upon conviction - we'll see Trump's team "moving on the court like a bitch" to delay any consideration of sentence until every possible avenue is exhausted... then (likely at the same time) we'll see them appeal the conviction itself, *THEN* we'll see them demand that with pending appeal *and* sentencing decisions, Trump is not to be considered a criminal and must therefor not be locked up in a dingy 8x10ft cell with some huge, buff guy named Bubba who hasn't (never mind its age) seen an ass that phat and well-lubed (if you don't mind diaper-dumps for lube) in years.

I noticed in my industry (Multifamily housing) we usually see changes in behavior faster than most areas. I can say it started in 2008 and then seemed to gain momentum during the trump campaign and presidency. During the pandemic things started to get better as people started to experience mortality issues. Then came the “entitlement” phase mid to end of pandemic. People started acting like they were owed something from everyone around them. I am speaking of the middle class and upper class. It’s been crazy. Now Trump is back and attitudes and civility seems to be going out the window again! It just sucks that we can’t cut each other a break and be NICE for Gods sake. It’s not that hard! Sorry for the soapbox. Love the show!

I believe the dawn of social media has created an environment for folks to shiv someone in the comments section and move on with no consequences for being an a**hole. We are losing empathy and compassion for others in our society because of that. Our kids are watching all of the behaviors out there now, and it’s up to all parents to hold the line and teach their kids to be the helpers and look for the helpers. I am as deeply saddened and disgusted by the behavior of this court as you are and cannot understand how they are willing to go down as the worst court ever---they all have to know that unless one (or hopefully more) of them speaks up about these current cases. That act alone will not suddenly improve the standing/rating of this court, but it will help us see some of them have scruples.
