I’ve been doing Leslie Sansone walking videos for decades, but when your video showed up on my UA-cam feed, I quit using Leslie‘s videos because you don’t have mindless chatter. Just great music to keep you on the beat. I love that you add standing at work to all your walking workouts, I’ve lost the last 10 pounds I couldn’t drop with your workouts the keto diet and good sleep now that I’m retired. I pass your walking workouts to my daughter. Who’s a marathon runner because here in Washington once the rains start you gotta work out inside so she uses you on the rainy days, I use you every day and after lunch I go outside and powerwalk with a 12 pound weighted vest and do my 2 miles. I do use 2 pounds weighted gloves with all your workouts to get that extra punch to my workout. Please continue to do more walking videos, even up to an hour.❤
Oh wow, you're on a fitness mission! I love it, Jill. I must say I do look forward to being retired so I can exercise more (not from UA-cam, but from my regular day job). Thanks so much for sharing my channel with your daughter. I'm sure she got her interest in exercise from her mom...you're definitely a great exercise role model!
Me too!!! That’s because I seen the most results ever in just one year as opposed to 14 years with Leslie and same old videos. Love the variety and forever support and the kind nudges we get from Jules to keep going….so happy I can say a year with Improved Health!! You did LITERALLY help me to improve my overall health! Thank you 🫂🫂🫂🫂
This one flew by! The combo moves (leg to side, leg to front, with bicep curl; one legged alternating kick and knee lift), plus all the balance moves -- including the knee lift ab work -- added just enough challenge to the cardio. Getting in thirty minutes from the get go really made this new week start off on the right foot! 🦶
@@ImprovedHealth Appreciate you saying this. At first my arms were going in the same direction as my legs. As for the glutei kick backs? Let's just say they kicked butt, ha ha. I hope you know how much gratitude I have for all the thought you put into making your videos. All the different moves keep them fresh. Plus, using gray matter as well as heart muscle, makes them even more challenging -- and fun!
I spent a couple of hours pulling weeds in the cool of the morning and had decided I didn’t need to work out. Then I remembered it’s Monday and clicked on just to see what was new. Ended up doing the whole thing and glad I did! Thanks, Jules. Loved this one!
I love that you have 20 seconds of marching in between each 20 seconds. It gives me a chance to relax the arms or legs, but keeps the heart rate up. I enjoy all of the videos that I have worked out to. Music and no talking is nice. Just follow along and listen to the music, before you know it you are done. Thanks for the videos.
I can't tell you how thankful I am for your workouts! They're perfect for me and get me motivated to get moving again after cancer treatment. Truly so grateful for you!
PROGRESS!!!! On the second set of one-foot-on-the-floor balancing, I kept my "other foot" off the floor for the full 20 seconds! All while shifting my center of gravity to flex the ol' gluts! Now, that's progress!!!!
That was incredible. You got me to do the whole thing by doing a tiny gaff move about 5 minutes before the end. Then the screen said, 'be proud' and I went for it. Those encouraging messages of yours really do wonders.
Did this one again today! It's one of my favorites. I'm not a great fan of the 15 seconds - sometimes it takes me a few seconds to catch the moves! But 20 seconds is a nice variety and I like the walking every other time. I know there's something coming up that I can do! I did a strength tape first and was looking for aerobics; this one was perfect. Thanks, Jules. You're keeping this 82 year old fogie moving!
Lol, I love your comment, Alice. Thanks so much for your feedback about the 15 sec vs 20 sec. I'll keep changing things up so there will always be choices:) Kudos to you for doing strength training as well...the combo will definitely keep you strong and fit in your 82nd year.💖💪
I really slacked off because of so much going on in my life. I decided this morning that I had to get back on track, went to your channel and clicked on this video. It felt great. I appreciate you so much! Thank you 😊
Life absolutely gets busy. Kudos to you for getting back on track with fitness, Anne! I'm glad you enjoyed this one and happy that you plan to return more often:)
For someone that has played sports nearly all their life, I have learned I am not very coordinated. I have played softball, volleyball, basketball and now golf and I have done ok. But when it comes time for the legs to do two motions in one segment in these videos, it is like mine belong to someone else. So, that being said, I appreciate you saying go at your own pace and do what works for you. Between this one and 1 other, I have gotten in over 5k steps today. Thanks for you hard work on these.
This was a brilliant progression from 2500 steps, Jules, and just what I need now. I shall do this every day this week, iron out the coordination gaffes that I made aplenty, and report at the end of 7 days😄🙃 Thanks so much Jules, have a great week ahead !
Loved this workout. I didn’t get a chance to work out today, and now in the evening, this was the perfect workout I needed to burn off some energy. I have really been enjoying your videos. I especially like the motivational quotes that are featured in the workouts - they are inspiring and keep me going! Thank you for the work you put into these videos! :)
Thank you for another wonderful workout. It was somewhat challenging with the 1 leg movement but I get mixed, I just keep moving till the coordination is back in order😂. Fun to exercise, that’s the feeling I get at the end and it’s worth it not to give up 😊
Thank you being you! ❤ I've recently found you and you've really helped me. I'm 62 and had bariatric surgery 2 years ago and keeping off the weight with your help 🎉
I made it through to the last 2 min 30 seconds and stumbled over doing the push back leg lift. Got up moved the video back to 22;15 and finished it out. A few months ago I would have quit. I will do this one again tomorrow! Thanks Jules
I felt strong today so after the 5-minute warm-up, I jogged during one of the 20-second walking intervals during every minute, until the 5-minute cool down. Sweating buckets...feeling GREAT!!!
Oh my goodness! Dear Improved Health instructor, I was able to work up considerable sweat! I love the minimal talk and the visuals. I love the 20 second intervals. Thanks for the suggestion of increasing the pace for the walking portion. I was able to challenge myself w balance. I was able to keep my heartrate between 75-80% capacity. I am proud. I also feel energized, and I am in a better mood after I have moved my body with exercise sessions. I am grateful to my body for its ability. I am grateful to you for your time and commitment in creating these very affordable (free!) videos. Now all I have to do is check my steps. Thanks, Rita
I commented a month ago, and I can tell you I have gained strength and I have noticed I can stretch and my shoulders don't hurt, the range of movement has improved immensely, I can actually use my hair dryer without wincing! Brilliant. You don't realise how much you cease up if you don't move. Thanks again.

thank you so much for your videos. i started 6 months ago, struggling to finish the 15 minute workouts, and now can do the 30 minute videos with weights. i feel so much fitter and my walking has improved as well. i am 75, and appreciate all your exercises, and the different levels for our good and bad days. i wouldn't go to a gym, but now all i need is a good pair of shoes and away i go. thank you again from australia.
Hi Kerry! Thanks SO much for taking the time to send your message today. I love reading about how much stronger you have become in the past 6 months (and now able to do the intermediate level workouts, too!). 75 and getting stronger each day! LOVE IT!
I also did Leslie Sansone workouts for years. They would march so fast I would hurt my knees. I have arthritis In them. Your workouts are so much better for me. I get my walks in without pain❤️

Six days down the line, I managed to get a lot more coordinated. I used the 20 sec walking intervals for getting the hang of the more challenging moves...by and by, the spill-overs became less and i was generally on par. ( Except for the swing -the- leg and flex- the-glutes....i was happy to balance and swing, flex will happen later:) The fact that i stuck to it speaks volumes of your brilliant curating of moves, i get bored quite easily. Thanks ever so much...as you keep saying, the goal was progress, not perfection, i'm thrilled. See you tomorrow, enjoy your Sunday!
Woah what a brilliant workout with such fun music! Jules I hope you realise how much we appreciate all the time and energy you put into these workouts to keep us all progressing on our fitness journey and to keep us moving. Many thanks.❤
I am so thankful for your comment, Margaret. I can't tell you how much it means, and how comments like yours motivates me to create more. Thank you!!!🫂
This is fantastic! Thank you so much, Julie! I am in my early 50s and didn't realize my balance needed so much work. These exercises are more than just for our body. They get the brain working as well. Thank you again. I have been consistently doing your videos for over a month and am seeing great results already. I also really love that you dress modestly. ❤ I am not inspired by seeing skin or cleavage, no matter how well toned or gorgeous.
I forgot to add, I too, was using Leslie Sanson and I agree she talks too much; i’m so happy I found you on UA-cam. 😉 I have no problem with the length of your videos, if they don’t reach 45 minutes or an hour, all I do is I split them up during the day. I live in Florida specifically the central part where the weather is still up in the mid 90s at the end of August, so it is awesome to be able to do these in the comfort of my home and not outside where the weather is not agreeable at this time of the year. Thank you so much!
Hi Carla, thank you for letting me know that you're enjoying the workouts. I'll be making a longer one soon. The temps here are starting to cool down already and I definitely look forward to my time in sunny Florida over the winter (we go most years for roughly a week). It's always something to look forward to when the ground here is covered in snow.
I have peripheral artery disease and so walking is a prescription. The peppy music and variety of exercises are the perfect balance of challenging and fun. Also, it's much too hot to walk outside. Thank you!
Yaaay to another 3000 sweaty steps under my belt today! I'll never give up, simply restart, reset and refocus as you're always encouraging us to do! Thank you Jules. Best wishes Annette 🎈
I love this one, goes by so quick and was able to jog in between the other movements. Thanks Jules your channel is a must to keep moving, I already feel I'm gaining strength.
that is a great little workout!!! I’m 67 … broke a good sweat, but lasted the whole way through, (although I did slow down about 8 minutes out! More Stretching!!!🎉
After the 5 minute warm-up, I jogged every other "walk" segment, to get my heart rate up to target, and to get in some extra steps to make up for my missed walkabout this morning. There's a "pecky storm" out there in the Gulf, and although not a hurricane in O-Town, we got bursts of rain all morning long.
Go evening Jules, I really like this one with 20 seconds intervals. With different exercises for balance. Which I need to do thanks 😊. I love the words you say with most exercises ❤❤😊😊
Hi Jules! I recently joined a gym. I find it hard to go though because I am so drawn to your workouts because of the peppy music and great variety of moves during your workouts. I loved this one!! You always brighten my day and I thank you so much!💕🥰
Aw, thank you so much for sharing that with me. The gym is great for strength training, especially with all the choices of cables, benches, various machines and so on. Hopefully you'll still come here for other workouts, but maximize your time at the gym with getting stronger.
Love the format of this one, and 25 minutes is great - not so daunting as 30 minutes! Mind you, the T-step combo was a killer - I nearly fell over my feet. A great video, though, to add to the list. And now the day begins....
I've spent the last few days hiking some trails in a couple of Florida State Parks...so this one is getting back into the routine of my [indoor...sigh...] afternoon workouts!
I want to take time to thank you today, Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!! I start each day with you and I appreciate you soo soooo much!!!🫶✨🤟💗🌻💥 You're the bomb! 💣✨
I laughed out loud with you a couple of times today when it took you a split second or two to get into the groove of the new move! I could see that it amused you too! We're only human after all! Lots of fun and day 2 seemed to go even quicker! Loved it! Thanks Jules. Annette x 🎈
Aw, thank you, Annette. I'm glad to read your comment. I had considered editing that part out but decided to leave it since I was sure my regular followers would support me, and laugh along with me. 🥰
This one was really great, just like last week's video! Someday, I'd love to see a 10,000-step workout that goes at this pace the entire way through. I've done the other 10,000-step ones, but there's a bunch of running to get to the step count. No matter how long the workout took, I'd love a steady one. Thanks for all that you do.
@@ImprovedHealth Yes, this format is great! I'm guessing it's not easy to make one with that many steps in this format, but it would be awesome. I really like all the motivational quotes in your videos-they always inspire me to keep going and do more!
Enjoyed this one. Perfect length for a quick walk. I love the alternating of marching with different moves every 20 sec. I also appreciate that you provide the bpm for the music. This way we can choose our own music and really make the workout our own. Thank you!
I must be feeling energised as after this workout with light weights, I did your recommended 12 minute weights for arms and upper body video followed by a 10 minute dance workout! 😊 Off for a well deserved shower! Thanks Jules. Annette x 🎈
Yes I did it again! 😁 Just a perfect workout for after our tea! Energetic, a little sweaty and definitely a feel good exercise! Thanks as always Jules. See you tomorrow. Best wishes Annette x🎈
How many favourites can I have? The list is getting so long! Just love the last few interval workouts, there is always one just the right length, and they are such fun to do. Thank you so much Jules 😊
Somehow I missed this one and so am trying it for the first time today and I really enjoyed it. Love the mix of things and the balance while still keeping our heart rates up and love the 20 second intervals. I have some issues with my knees so having the walking intervals alternating with the other moves makes it much easier on them. I would love to see more like this, maybe a little longer, like a 30 minutes. Thanks for another great workout🥰
Thank you for your great feedback. I've been hearing that from some others as well about the walk/different move/walk, making it easier on the knees. Thank you for sharing that with me.
I have a really hectic day coming up and this was such a great workout to get some cardio in first! The brainwork and 20 second intervals were great! Kept me on my toes 😂 Thank you so much Jules! ❤

24, 06 2024 HI Jules, it's been a while..I have been doing other workouts and also yours, my favourite one,but since I downloaded it,I do not always remember to put the date there. Last week I was gravely ill with fever and all sorts of awful symptoms so there was not much exercise being done.I discovered this gem today and I loved it being fresh and different, thank you Jules, I thoroughly enjoyed it.I guess,I will download this one, later. I have every intention to keep it and do it another times as well. I hope you are fine, and you are making happy your clients with recreational activities, counsel, oh, I am sorry, I am not sure I remember well what exactly is you do as a recreational counsel. I knew, and now I am a bit at a loss. Please, help me a bit, explain it to me again, what you do how you help folks. Thank you. Have a good night!
Sorry to read that you were sick, Klari, but glad to see you're better. I work as a Recreation Therapist which is basically helping people discover meaningful leisure activities that help to improve their quality of life. That's a very basic explanation and there's much more to it of course! Glad that you enjoyed this workout, Klari!
Hi Jules: I have a question. Can you do an updated 30 day strength training challenge. Can this one have some "No Squats/No Lunges" workouts for legs in it. I just added the one you did a year ago to my monthly rotation for August. Thank you for your consideration!
Thanks so much, I really think your videos are wonderful. I initially got hooked with your oldies so great to work out to old music that I heard growing up from my older sisters. Now I enjoy many of them, and I especially like the ones that have, a 22nd turnaround. Thanks and keep up the excellent work!
Back on it today. Covid has gone. Couldn't wait to try this and it went so quick. Amazing playlist, fab exercises and boy I needed that today. I've lost a whole week of exercise so now catch up. This was great. I love a monday❤

I also started a second channel dedicated to chair workouts and will add the link for you here: youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts I now upload all new seated workouts to the new channel. Lastly, I upload all of the workouts from both channels to my website at www.improvedhealthforseniors.com I hope that helps and I hope your clients enjoy the various videos.

I really appreciate your feedback...thank you so much for sharing that.
Perfect for something more than a soft start or a wind-down... a "Goldilocks" workout, Jules! Thanks 🥰
Lol, I love your comment:)
I forgot to add, I too, was using
Leslie Sanson and I agree she talks too much; i’m so happy I found you on UA-cam.
I bumped up the cardio level when I could...a really good long sweat today...thanks!!!
Just worked out to this one. I love it. My balance needs working on but thanks for making us work on it. I know it’s important as we age😘
Thanks for your feedback, Nancy.💖
I have peripheral artery disease and so walking is a prescription. The peppy music and variety of exercises are the perfect balance of challenging and fun. Also, it's much too hot to walk outside. Thank you!
Thank you for letting me know that you're enjoying the indoor workouts.
Thank you so much for your constant efforts to please us. Have a good day with sport, music and joy !
Thanks for joining me!
Yaaay to another 3000 sweaty steps under my belt today!
I'll never give up, simply restart, reset and refocus as you're always encouraging us to do!
Thank you Jules.
Best wishes
Annette 🎈
Love it, thanks Annette.🥰
Love this new video! My balance has improved greatly--no wobbling! ie, my thighs and abs are stronger! Thanx, Jules!
Thanks so much for letting me know you are getting stronger!
My favorite is the 20 second intervals. It goes so fast. Another good workout. Thanks.
Thanks for your feedback on that, Tessa.
I love this one, goes by so quick and was able to jog in between the other movements. Thanks Jules your channel is a must to keep moving, I already feel I'm gaining strength.
Thanks for your awesome comment...it means a lot! Kudos to you for jogging when you could!
that is a great little workout!!! I’m 67 … broke a good sweat, but lasted the whole way through, (although I did slow down about 8 minutes out! More Stretching!!!🎉
I have a new stretching routine on my chair channel if you'd like a new routine. I'll add the link for you: youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts
Congrats for picking up the pace to get in the best workout for you, Jan! I hope you don't get hit too hard with the storm.
Great workout. Thank you from Trinidad and Tobago
Thank you and so glad to have you here!
This is perfect. I love the 20 second intervals.
Thanks for your feedback, Dianne.
Love the format of this one, and 25 minutes is great - not so daunting as 30 minutes! Mind you, the T-step combo was a killer - I nearly fell over my feet. A great video, though, to add to the list. And now the day begins....
I try to change them up as much as I can:)
I love all your workouts, Jules. I enjoyed walking 5000 steps. Thanks so much, Jules! Nadia
Thanks so much for sharing that with me, Nadia.❤️
I've spent the last few days hiking some trails in a couple of Florida State Parks...so this one is getting back into the routine of my [indoor...sigh...] afternoon workouts!
Oh, how nice! Lucky you going on some outdoor hikes!
Очень классная тренеровочка и музыка! Спасибо большое!
Love this workout! The balance "moves" are just what I need!
I want to take time to thank you today, Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!! I start each day with you and I appreciate you soo soooo much!!!🫶✨🤟💗🌻💥 You're the bomb! 💣✨
Aw, thank you!!! What an awesome comment to read this evening...thank you for taking the time to write it.🥰
Another great video. Loved the 20 second intervals. Thank you for all u do for us. ❤🎉😊
@@ImprovedHealth No please leave some unedited bloopers in to make us chuckle! 😆
Thanks for your request, Wendy. Are you thinking this same format of a move and then walking every 2nd time?
@@ImprovedHealth Yes, this format is great! I'm guessing it's not easy to make one with that many steps in this format, but it would be awesome. I really like all the motivational quotes in your videos-they always inspire me to keep going and do more!
Great interval workout! Love the 15- and 20-second ones that you offer!
Enjoyed this one. Perfect length for a quick walk. I love the alternating of marching with different moves every 20 sec. I also appreciate that you provide the bpm for the music. This way we can choose our own music and really make the workout our own. Thank you!
Thanks for your great feedback (the bpm comment is helpful).
I must be feeling energised as after this workout with light weights, I did your recommended 12 minute weights for arms and upper body video followed by a 10 minute dance workout!
😊
Off for a well deserved shower!
Thanks Jules.
Annette x 🎈
Amazing! Definitely energized and sounds like you were burning lots of calories on a Saturday night:)
@@ImprovedHealth And the brilliant bonus is that I don't ache anywhere, thanks to following you stretching!
Thank you Jules.
A x 🎈
I love the sky blue colors and the music made me want to keep going and going. So much fun!
Thanks for your feedback, Kim.💖
A new favorite! I loved the BPM, music, and 20 second intervals. Thanks!
Oh yay! I'm glad the video made it to your favourites.
Yes I did it again! 😁
Just a perfect workout for after our tea!
Energetic, a little sweaty and definitely a feel good exercise!
Thanks as always Jules.
See you tomorrow.
Best wishes
Annette x🎈
So glad to see you back into a workout schedule.💪
@@ImprovedHealth Now off to bed after 11,500 steps and hoping to sleep like a log!
Night night 😊
@@partyballoonsnorwich2122 Amazing!!!

Thanks so much, Renate.
We love your walks and strength training
Thanks Joyce!
How many favourites can I have? The list is getting so long! Just love the last few interval workouts, there is always one just the right length, and they are such fun to do. Thank you so much Jules 😊
Thanks so much for your feedback, Susan...it's always helpful!
As always, Jules, thank you very much for the wonderful workout!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you!
I did this yesterday love love it please make some more like this loved the moves even though I messed up on some of them it keeps your brain sharp ❤
Thanks for your feedback, Lisa! If you enjoyed this one, you can find more like it in the 'intermediate level' playlists.
Another workout for my weekly rotation! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Thanks for your great comment and for putting a big smile on my face:)
I loved this sequence and how you challenged my coordination. Just wish the cardio part had been longer as I was really engaged. Thanks!
Awesome feedback...thank you, Debra!
This was fun! I really, really enjoy the 15 and 20 second interval programs. Many thanks!
Thanks for your feedback, Laura.
I have a really hectic day coming up and this was such a great workout to get some cardio in first! The brainwork and 20 second intervals were great! Kept me on my toes 😂 Thank you so much Jules! ❤
Thanks Annette. I hope your day goes well:)
I liked it....
I did it....

That was amazing! Happy and sweaty workout! Thanks Jules!🥰
Great workout!! Perfect for getting extra steps when it’s too hot to walk outside! Thanks for another great workout!!
Thank you Jules! This was a heart pumping, sweating, and water drinking workout. Loved the stretch. The music was pleasant. Just wonderful!

Jules, so good! More please, longer ones too! Thank you for all you do.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Jules: I have a question. Can you do an updated 30 day strength training challenge. Can this one have some "No Squats/No Lunges" workouts for legs in it. I just added the one you did a year ago to my monthly rotation for August. Thank you for your consideration!
Thank you! Enjoy! 🇧🇷
Thanks so much, I really think your videos are wonderful. I initially got hooked with your oldies so great to work out to old music that I heard growing up from my older sisters. Now I enjoy many of them, and I especially like the ones that have, a 22nd turnaround. Thanks and keep up the excellent work!
Thank you!!! I definitely appreciate your feedback.
Back on it today. Covid has gone. Couldn't wait to try this and it went so quick. Amazing playlist, fab exercises and boy I needed that today. I've lost a whole week of exercise so now catch up. This was great. I love a monday❤
Aw, thanks Allyson! I'm glad to read that you're feeling better and able to exercise again. Welcome back!
@@ImprovedHealth thank you. I missed you xx

Thanks for your feedback, Marie-Therese.❤️
thank you! great start to my morning!
Thanks for your workout/steps videos! Very helpful for some of my clients as well :)
Thanks! I'll give a bit more info if you're recommending my channel to clients...
Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) in both seated and standing workouts, and categorize them all into the playlists. Just look for 'playlists' on the main page and scroll down to where you see the seated options. I also started a second channel dedicated to chair workouts and will add the link for you here: youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts
I now upload all new seated workouts to the new channel.
Lastly, I upload all of the workouts from both channels to my website at www.improvedhealthforseniors.com
I hope that helps and I hope your clients enjoy the various videos.
Great video. Ran all the way through the walking sections - so happy to see how I have improved since workng out with you!
Oh yay! It's awesome to read that you are now running during the walks! Kudos to you for picking up your pace and for maximizing the workout.
