Thank you Gloria....I put the orphan block parade in at the last minute.....so happy I did...I wasn't sure if everyone be interested or not🤷🏻♀️ Thank you for the good feedback on it✅
Orphan star blocks made a cute quilt, that’s the way I made my first quilt by leaving an opening. The only thing I also tied my quilt top. Your granddaughter is adorable, thanks for sharing Tracy I enjoy watching your videos.
Oh my goodness this quilt is just so gorgeous 🥰 Just love the ‘low volume’ idea, it just lets the stars twinkle ✨ Thank you so much for sharing this great quilt 👍🇬🇧
Oh my goodness!!! That quilt is fabulous! I have made an orphan block quilt and am in the process of making my 2nd orphan block quilt right now. I love your idea about using all different low volume prints. I am going to do that this time. Thank you so much for this idea. Great tutorial again Tracy!!! Josephine is a cutie 💓.
This orphan block quilt is awesome. You come up with the best ideas. Have been trying to get my sewing room organized and you have just given me more ideas. Thanks so much.
Josephine is BEAUTIFUL❣💜 YOU ARE SOOOO SMART! This quilt is lovely. I want you to know I REALLY appreciate your presentations. Less talking is welcomed. So many You Tubers OVER explain and I get bored and irritated ....you explain and demonstrate perfectly. AND I love your humor!! Thank you so much❣❣❣ BTW- I love the hexi quilt you had on the wall too!
WOW. YOU HAVE some very nice looking orphans. You should have used all your star blocks and just put tiny solid colored stripes in between.the circle look I love the ones you have with
Turned out GREAT! Yes, on the Low-Volume quilt - we gals made one for the next Raffle Quilt. Some of the gals were doubtful, but in the end, the quilt was lovely! we used a lot of "taupe" and first we all had to Google what color that was! 8-)))
My goodness, that is cute! I have tons of scraps, not so many orphan blocks, and I think I'm a little light on the low-volume prints. But what a great idea - I'll have to do a deep dive into my stash.
Just beautiful!! You are my go to sewing teacher. You really don't know just how valuable you and your skills are to me. Thank you for all of the time and details you put in to each of your videos.
Wow! Great idea! I've made small quilts with orphan blocks, but not like this. Great idea using low volume scraps for the background, I love how you machine quilted it with only the batting and then tacked it later, and great idea using one of those fleece precuts and not binding it! Did I forget anything? 😆 I will definitely be doing this! Thank you for sharing!
Omg you have so many orphan blocks! There are a few more quilts yet to be made in there! I’d love to see more videos from you on using up those orphan blocks! Amazing as always!
Nice quilting job. My Mom did what you did to make her quilts so the ends and middle of the quilt looked similar. I like the idea of fixing and matching different colors and sizes of patterns to make a large quilt.
I love this quilt! I have just retired and am looking forward to spending some time making quilts. Also looking forward to seeing your next orphan block quilt!
Tracy, Such a great idea for my demo blocks, I do for my quilting class! Love the backing blanket idea also. I really do think the low volume will be the way I go because I do demo blocks in BIG bright colors! LoL Thank you again. I call you my Quilting Brain, you do all the thinking for me. Gotta love me, just being truthful. I do give you all the credit in class! 😊 Thank you for all your communication. LY, You Okie Friend PS Your little helper is beautiful and your right she has grown so much!
Thank you Glenda for all the credit you give me...you are so nice to do that💛 The bigger and brighter your colors are.....the more the low volume background will shine right along with it!
Absolutely beautiful and I love your can-do attitude!! It turned out perfect and you didn't drive yourself crazy with a bunch of excessive measuring. BTW I just now finished two Christmas quilts based on your video of the quilt you made with the fat quarters as the blocks and fluffy fleece blankets for the backings. I'm calling them Christmas in August, because I'll be presenting them to our two sons' families during a family reunion next month. So thanks, Tracy!
What a fun video!!!! 🤣 Love how your quilt turned out! Very, very nice!!! Will be a great snuggling quilt when the weather cools down. I remember many (but not all) of the quilt blocks you showed at the end. The fun music was perfect for the end of this video. The sneak peek of your little Josie mouse... she's so adorable!!!! 🥰 I have to agree with one of the previous commenters re: too much talking on some YTer's videos make watching their videos painful and real snoozers. 😴 Yours are always just perfect fun and fit perfectly with your tagline: "Enough talking already! Let's get started!!!" This is obviously one of the reasons you're fast approaching the 100K subscriber mark and I'm so very, very happy for you!!!! Viewers are tired of excessive talking, fake laughter, forced humor, and not enough helpful video content. Another video using up some of your beautiful quilt blocks would make for another future fun video, too! 😀 Keep crankin' 'em out, Tracy!!!

@@TheSewingChannel did it come with your Brother machine? I have a Brother quilting one that I recently just opened. It has lots of feet. I’m wondering if I have one as well. Thanks Traci.
Ugh. It took me five attempts to watch your parade. I was working on cutting out blocks. And I wanted to watch the parade. Who would know that I needed to just stop what I was doing so I could watch the entire parade. Rewinding over and over was just not a great plan. Ha

Which block were you looking to try? Just search UA-cam with “The Sewing Channel” and the name of the block. Should pop up✅
@@TheSewingChannel I don't know the name of the block and have searched around and not found it sorry
What colors were in it and what did it look like? If you can find the time stamp in the video when you saw it then that would help me✅

Sue- that time stamp is the end of the video?
If I use fleece for the backing do I need the batting?
Destry -No you don’t need the batting ✅
