    Orphan star blocks made a cute quilt, that’s the way I made my first quilt by leaving an opening. The only thing I also tied my quilt top. Your granddaughter is adorable, thanks for sharing Tracy I enjoy watching your videos.

    Oh my goodness!!! That quilt is fabulous! I have made an orphan block quilt and am in the process of making my 2nd orphan block quilt right now. I love your idea about using all different low volume prints.

    You should have used all your star blocks and just put tiny solid colored stripes in between.the circle look

    Turned out GREAT! Yes, on the Low-Volume quilt - we gals made one for the next Raffle Quilt. Some of the gals were doubtful, but in the end, the quilt was lovely! we used a lot of "taupe" and first we all had to Google what color that was! 8-)))

    Wow! Great idea! I've made small quilts with orphan blocks, but not like this. Great idea using low volume scraps for the background, I love how you machine quilted it with only the batting and then tacked it later, and great idea using one of those fleece precuts and not binding it! Did I forget anything? 😆 I will definitely be doing this! Thank you for sharing!

    Nice quilting job. My Mom did what you did to make her quilts so the ends and middle of the quilt looked similar. I like the idea of fixing and matching different colors and sizes of patterns to make a large quilt.

    Tracy, Such a great idea for my demo blocks, I do for my quilting class! Love the backing blanket idea also. I really do think the low volume will be the way I go because I do demo blocks in BIG bright colors! LoL

    Absolutely beautiful and I love your can-do attitude!! It turned out perfect and you didn't drive yourself crazy with a bunch of excessive measuring. BTW I just now finished two Christmas quilts based on your video of the quilt you made with the fat quarters as the blocks and fluffy fleece blankets for the backings. I'm calling them Christmas in August, because I'll be presenting them to our two sons' families during a family reunion next month. So thanks, Tracy!

    Ugh. It took me five attempts to watch your parade. I was working on cutting out blocks. And I wanted to watch the parade. Who would know that I needed to just stop what I was doing so I could watch the entire parade. Rewinding over and over was just not a great plan. Ha
