Thanks for the video mate, I just picked my brand new one up 2 weeks ago where I live in N.E. China, no handover from the dealer! ( Just the keys ) Trying to figure out everything, but at least I've managed to change the language to English in some of the menus, your video helps a lot too! I've been relying on UA-cam videos for help, but many of the specs are different for the models built in, and on sale, in China. Amazing vehicle so far however, best I've ever owned, wife loves it and the kids love it too! I look forward to more hints from you...Cheers

@@fun2drive It's the 250 S R-dynamic but different specs to other countries it seems. 20" alloys, black leather with wood inserts ( no choice! ), no diesels here either, thankfully petrol is about 60-70% of the Uk price but I would have gone for a diesel given the choice. We paid extra for a kind of comfort pack with heated and cooled seats, lumbar and three zone, but...no cooling included! That was a mistake apparently...Still, not complaining, it's great.

This stuff is all in the Manual.
The mirror is called ClearSight I believe not Clearview. Clearview is a brand of towing mirrors.
I know, but not everyone reads the manual from cover to cover so I was being helpful

Volume up/down works faster when rotating finger all the way around touchspace, clockwise etc. instead of just on the left....

How do you get the Analogue Clock to display on the Home Screen - Tried (Lots 😂 ) but cant find it anywhere.

Hi Trevor, if you touch and hold anywhere on the edge of the Home Screen , you can then change the apps that are there, you will probably need to delete one of them first by dragging to the trash can, you will then see a bunch of little squares where you can put a new app, touch one of these, then you will see the apps you can have, scroll across about 3 screens and you should then see a clock, select it and it should then appear on the Home Screen.

Guaranteed to go wrong soon lol, had several land rovers including the sport, love the cars but cant deal with the reliability issues any more, going back to lexus.

Hi, I have the HSE and that doesnt have ambient lighting either! I think it was an optional extra....not sure what you mean by "World windows"?

Ambient interior lighting is often an optional feature
If your car has it, the options to change the colours is in the
Settings
Global Closing of the windows feature is not allowed in some countries
Ask your local dealer to clarify / confirm the status of this for you

What model year is your doscp sport? It doesn't have the dial gear selector?

Im not sure really, maybe you cant force it on all the time....
Tips and hints. Dont buy unless you really love the brand. Lots of problems especially to do with timing chain, DPF and electronic issues. However if these cars are your thing then enjoy 👍🏼

What’s a dead lock??
"dead Lock" is when the doors are unable to be opened from the inside after locking, this stops someone breaking the glass and trying to open the door with the inside lever

I can give you a big tip. They may have weak timing chains and may destroy the engine. Look into it. Do you really wish to purchase a vehicle which may have such issues. Ingenium engines. Should have stayed with ford boys.

Best thing to do with a Discovery Sport is get shot of it, spent £3k for service, gas struts on boot and particle filter assembly. only to be told the the differential and timing change required replacement. That would be the second timing chain the first being changed at the same time as the turbo failed. Landrover did offer 50% discount...having a laugh...leaving just a €7k bill to keep a 105k mileage vehicle on the road...sold it to a trader who sold it on without any of the repairs. Mercedes 220 of the drive now replacing my 5 Landrover...but never again

@@davidmcgovery5352 Hi David, with a salary of 85K, I can afford more than one. And that doesn’t include my Mrs salary. She’s an accountant at top firm and earns more than me. The engine chains on our Discovery Sport became faulty. The vehicle was out of warranty by 2 months and it cost me over £2500 to fix. Land Rover covered the additional £1500. I could send you pictures of the receipt and my big house if you want
