The crowd and Band you hear is just through the drum mics, That's why the drums are so clean and crisp in the vid. JP can hear a lot more than what his mikes are picking up.
Actually the link says it's a 22" Sand Ride, which makes a little more sense to what I'm hearing. Crazy that he's using all 22's and a 23" now. You wouldn't know it to hear them. Extremely versatile.
THIS IS THE FIRST CLUTCH SONG I EVER HEARD. LIKE 6 OR 7 YEARS AGO. AND I CANT STOP. AND U DONT STOP- OH FUCKING ISABELLA . IM SMOKING SOME KILLER WILLIE NELSON PETUNIA. . JP WOW .
it's just the guitar and drum tracks, obviously Jean-Paul can hear more than those when playing live. This was mixed especially so we can hear his chops.
Gaster is incredible man he is so in the pocket. Clutch is one of the best bands to see live too!
GREATEST ROCK DRUMMER EVER. So much fun to watch, so much fun to listen to.
2nd only to Ian Paice.
@@Hellwyck I don't know who that is but I'm going to go ahead and disagree on the grounds of CLUTCH!
such nice clean drumming... love this band, love this drummer and i also love his drums and cymbals
Gaster. Tha master. Clutch are quite simply awesome.
Such an awesome drummer. This video I've watched it so many times
The Grovemachine
love JP so much, may Clutch conquer for many more years!
Now that is a man having fun!
Love these! Keep em coming!
this is awesome, saw them in Portland a few weeks ago and he impressed me
Mike LeBlanc I e seen them 33 times and they kill every time
YES,more jp videos please,i saw them in Berlin, hes the king of groove
Boy do I love me some clutch, jpg is amazing, legendary sounds. Space grass? Come on.
These guys are the top!
Nice And Solid. Love Vintage Drums!
That tom gives me anxiety!
Fuck yeah!

That is what being in total control of your craft looks like...
Oh sorry, my mistake. You are right. The must have changed it on the website. But, like you said, makes more sense with the sound.
WOW IS THAT GREAT.
Killer touch.
WoOoW !!!
According to the link in the description it's a 22" Byzance Traditional Medium Ride believe it or not.
That tom is enjoying the groove as much as JP.
No Shit.
.jpg..is. The master of the jams

that racktom gave me ptsd... so glad it held up
Jep, you are right ;)
I actually think it's a 20" Byzance Vintage Sand Ride. I think the Meinl website is a little bit outdated.
That doesn't look like a Jazz ride to his left...(The logo is too dark) What size/kind of crash is that? I want one just like it!
Get any footage of Chris Turner from Orange Goblin by any chance?
As a drum tech I wouldn't allow a tom to be that out of control. I need to be his drum tech.
If you love your toms, you let them be free!
Neil Niswander lol i noticed the same thing, must not bother him
Must be on a stand and the legs aren`t spread wide enough. Extraordinary Drummer.
i was thinking the same thing. I big lack of wild going on there!
What cymbal is that on the right?
1 Adam 12...see the Man that jams....possibly 59-50....approach with extreem caution....👍😳
it's just the guitar and drum tracks, obviously Jean-Paul can hear more than those when playing live. This was mixed especially so we can hear his chops.
Just filthy!
there must be something wrong with the crowd
seems so lonely back there :P can barely hear the crowd/band
Man I love JP, but I don't love those crashes. Hats and ride sound great, but the crashes have no shimmer. Meinl makes some good stuff, but not those.
someone secure the high-tom for crying out loud, before it falls over.
ulysses klaw older, cooler, brother
I cringe as his bass drum is prolly gettin knicks and scratches from the wobbly rack tom. :-o
