C0ckPitVuE 777 A.K.A The long ranger. I did this, using 2.4 antennas from a phantom 3 pro. The results are amazing! I was only getting about 300 ft in my neborhood, now I'm getting about 6 to 800 ft. I also installed a set of Alpha antennas on the controller, and am pushing almost 2000 range!

Just went out in 31F dark weather because, I had just finished installing the new antennas and wires. I was too excited to wait until morning. Well, I just went from 1200 ft to 3615!!!!!!!
I have to do some tweaking but, I am so excited.
I do have an ITELITE DBS Extender antenna on my controller but, I think that is actually now a hindrance. It never gave me better range EVER. So, I will try for something more like a YAGA type.

i have some questions about antennas of phantom 4 V1 AND phantom 4 V2
1- Is each antenna sending and receiving, or is there an antenna for transmitting and another for receiving?
2- Is each antennas dual polarization of 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz , or is there an antenna work for 2.4GHz and another for 5.8GHz?
3- How can I differentiate between the antennas used in phantom

ok, i think I got it figured out. Am I right?, supply 12 volts to 2.4g boosters,
why a different battery for the 5ghz, is it different voltage or one battery would not support all three boosters?

Hello, where did you buy the cables and antennas ?? You have an image on 2.4? In SE there is a 2.4Ghz controller x 2 pcs and a 5.8Ghz image.

Hello I made the change the antennas of 2.4 and 5.8 but now I can not connect to wifi on my laptop and not on my smartphone that I can do,Wi-Fi only works on smartphones in Apple, not in Android and not laptop.
Totos Alvtuja That has nothing to do with the modification if it's working on your Apple.Maybe you got to enable your WiFi setting on your Android and laptop.
