It's a bit odd that so many people don't get the concept of this clip. The band goes from real to virtual, while the kids go through the exact opposite - their attention gets caught by techno-talk, they're inspired to drop their phones, and they discover the joy of interacting and creating in the here and now. Little things indeed. Lovely video, great song. Wish they'd included the musical outro in the album version, though.

Thank you. Exactly. It’s like when I was a kid in the 70s and my brother, cousins and I would play at being ABBA. It’s a refreshing change of pace from the usual crappy, cliche Christmas songs we get about some guy and gal falling in love at Christmas. The delicate touch and elven vocals are ABBA magic straight out of a music box.

for me this has completed my lifelong voyage alongside this wonderful group. i was there on the front row when frida did her dance routine that the kids are copying. i was there stagefront to see them singing i have a dream. this is the complete parcel. im 59 now and so emotional. ABBA are the lifelong gift that kept on giving. i am so grateful for all of it. this has made my life complete. thankyou so much x

Great story. I was able to be a teenager in the 70s, and loved ABBA's music. I joined the United States Marine Corps in 1973, and by 1974, a lot of Marines had posters of the ABBA ladies in their wall lockers. The 70s were great, I'd love to return to 1970, and be a 15 yr old kid. Be safe out there and Semper Fidelis from an old Marine Sergeant and greetings from Charleston, West Virginia.

I was born in 92 and I was just a kid that didn't speak English when I started to listed to ABBA. The band had split long time ago by the time I began to like their songs. You'll remember forever about this moment, while you're 17, because I still remember listening to ABBA when I was 17 in 2009. It was amazing discovering new songs, less known songs, that I'd found from digging their whole album collection online.

I like how the video reflects the fact that ABBA is loved by every generation. And how they are suggesting that basically, everyone, every child, can be like ABBA. Because ABBA goes beyond the 4 people we all know and love; it is also a feeling, it is about "living joyously", to repeat Meryl Streep's words from an interview about the first Mamma Mia! movie.

Back in 1993 when ABBA had their first revival I created a mix tape of their songs and rehearsed a choreography I would present at the school talent show. I dressed up and played all the parts myself. The kids and teachers loved it as did I. All these years later I see how much ABBA calls to the youth and hope in all of us. The world truly does belong to the youth and I love them for recognising the magic of ABBA. As for me, I’m still dancing to their music which takes me to my happy place. Thank you for the decades of little things..

Anyone else burst out crying at the end of this? All those hours as a small kid listening to ABBA, dancing, imagining, having a fantastic time with ABBA's music. Florin, I totally agree, such wonderful, actual music with composition and meaningful lyrics. Little Things is a stunning composition executed so beautifully by Agnetha and Frida. This video represents the spirit and joy of this time of year and the band appeal to another generation. It is Christmas that gathers several generations of families, meetings of grandparents with grandchildren and granddaughters, high spirits, gifts, a festive dinner, a decorated Christmas tree and me under it... I remember how my grandmother and mother sang beautifully on such days. My grandmother has been in another world for a long time and this song, the timbre of her voice, brings me back to my beloved grandmother in my happy childhood
And the best part, my birthday's in December. Hence why December is my favorite month of All Time. If every year was December, I would love it til the end.

@@raheldoege5520 There were people who were expecting ABBA Gold (all slam-dunk hits all the time) and not Super Trouper (a few slam dunks and many hidden gems).
Backlash? It topped the charts in many countries. To me it's a huge success, especially after such a long hiatus! And a Grammy nomination to boot! It's almost a miracle.
People complaining that they don't like something isn't a backlash - it just seems that way because of the impact of the internet, but really, it's to be expected, along with the praise. The album has done spectacularly well, it's still in the UK top 10 after four weeks on the charts (even though some feared that it would fall off the face of the earth after strong first-week sales)..so there isn't any backlash, really. :) We all have to learn to take a deep breath, consider these negative opinions for what they are, be grateful for the music...and enjoy this sweet video. ;)

December 23, 2021 - After 21 years, this will be the first time I spend Christmas at the old Grandma's country home where we used to celebrate Christmas when I was a kid. I can't stop crying every time I listen to this song as I remember opening presents and enjoying with the family on those beautiful Christmas mornings. Sadly my Grandma and my mom are no longer with us, but I'm so excited for sharing this season with my wife and my dad. At first when I saw this video I was a bit unsure what to think because it felt like it didn't fit the song, but the more I think about it the more I love it. ABBA inspired the kids to get creative, isn't that so beautiful? Every generation loves ABBA, that's one of the things that unites us all.
