Shakin Stevens was the 1980s best selling singles artist, following in the footsteps of The Beatles(1960s) and Elton John(1970s). This Christmas song was written especially for Shaky and what a marvellous fit it is!
He had a top 30 every year of the 80s!

My only point being that Shakin Stevens was the best selling artist of Singles in the 80s, just like The Beatles in the 60s and Elton in the 70s. If anything, Shakin Stevens is the one LAUGHING all the way to the bank!
