- Review Of The 2019 Nissan Maxima SV 3.5L V6: Start Up, Exhaust, Test Drive & First Driving Impressions | Lawsons Car Reviews.
This is a car I like quite a lot. Love the way it looks, it's fast feeling, comfortable, & nice interior. An 8 speed automatic or DCT transmission is one thing it needs. Don't get me wrong the car is good, but it falls behind by not having an AWD option.

I've seen these cars on the road and they look impressive to me. Looks high quality on the inside
I love the car except the CVT
Always liked driving these
I've always like maximas. Even the old ones
Me too.

Cheers mate 👍
The maxims looks amazing in white with the black so spoiler
They are just a good looking car period!
🔥
👍🏾
I'm aiming to buy this car slightly used by the end of 2022.
I think but then that will be a good bye. Prices are already pretty good on used ones now
Is it worth the extra money for the SL trim in order to get the sunroof?
Depends on how much you want a sunroof. Personally I don't really care about it
I have a 2019 SL. My transmission went at 46k. Now when it works right it's nice. Definitely different transmission. It is sexy car and mine is tinted out. 2023 looks like they switching to electric but I'm ok with that I bet it will be fast.
46K 😫
@@LawsonsCarReviews yes 46k. In shop now.
I said in the video that the cvt transmission is the weak spot of the car!
Give it the beans 😂
Thanks for watching. It's definitely a quick sedan
Did u try to push it in normal mode? Sport mode was wat u were set on
Yes i drove this longer than what the video was. And I've driven a lot of these
@@LawsonsCarReviews oh okay. Was wondering if u got the same noise from the transmission in normal mode
A tiny bit
I think the maxims looks very sleek. How comfy is it to ride in
The seats are really comfortable. Even for tall people
It’s a very comfortable car to be in, I love my 2020 maxima sv
I felt like it was comfortable
Is 2017 transmission reliable for Maxima?
The cvt transmission can be quite expensive to repair or replace, but I have heard mixed reviews about the reliability of them. They are definitely known to be the weak spot on the car.
Is the maxima reliable ?
Ive heard it is, the weak spot is the cvt transmission
why not try the semi auto?
What do you mean?
@@LawsonsCarReviews I would have liked to see the semi automatic if it made a difference maybe rev it up a little or quick shift. Still a good review Thank you.
Thank you. I assume when you say semi auto you mean shifting manually.
Yeah haven’t found a video where they use it.
I can tell you why. It's a CVT so it actually doesn't have gears. It only has simulated ones so it really doesn't have any benefit to using them
