In this video, i share a step by step tutorial on how I make my clarifying herbal African black soap shampoo
African black soap is believed to help improve scalp health, prevent dandruff and promote hair growth. When formulated with Ayurvedic herbs and oils, as it's also known to moisturize scalp and hair.
This clarifying herbal african black soap shampoo is made with herbs such as amla powder, cloves seeds, chebe powder, hibiscus buds and Ayurvedic oils to nourish the scalp and hair.
This shampoo will help to promote hair growth, moisturize hair, detangle hair and help define curls. It's a simple shampoo recipe you can make at home and definitely love.
It's a non toxic and eco friendly natural shampoo and you can also twist some of the ingredients to suit your hair care need.

2 CUPS SHREDED BLACK SOAP ( 500ML)
1 TBSP AMLA POWDER
1 TBSP CHEBE POWDER
1 TBSP NEEM POWDER
1 TBSP CLOVES SEED
4 BUDS OF HIBISCUS FLOWER
2-3 CUPS OF WATER ( DEPENDS ON HOW THICK YOU WANT IT)
1 TBSP CARRIER OIL ( SUCH AS ALMOND OR OLIVE OIL)
1 TBSP HONEY ( OPTIONAL)
10 -12 DROPS MINT ESSENTIAL OIL
10-12 DROPS TEA TREA OIL
10 DROPS ROSEMARY ESSENTIAL OIL
1 TEASPOON PRESERVATIVE
2 TBSP XANTHAN GUM
2 TBSP VEGETABLE GLYCERIN

2 weeks without preservative but if you want it to last longer then you will need to add a preservative

My thickener separates after a while
Did you use xhantan gum ? If yes did you dissolve it in glycerin? How may I help you ?
