If you are interested in exploring his different growls too, I suggest you check out Beast in Black (the song) and Zodd the Immortal. It's other way. He seems talented because most men don't explore what their voice can do. In some cases it's social barriers preventing some men to do it. A lot of female singers wish male singers would explore more of their voice.
Hey Connor I got an idea why don't you just take the words right out of my mouth there you go, I know this is stupid but what if they had a baby what would it sound like. Probably Maynard. Like I always say if you got the Tool use it!
He can go fairly low (Horizon's end - Be and Warrior Path - Black Night), or fairly high up (Wardrum - Baptised in Fire is about the high end of his range). Then again the man went to school for Opera so not entirely surprising he's a skilled technical singer on top of an amazing talent.
Another Beast In Black song I'd strongly recommend is Oceandeep. It isn't as popular as a lot of their bigger hits, but is honestly one of the most beautiful ballads I have ever heard. ua-cam.com/video/UpVkvWjRYzk/v-deo.html

looking forward to this one!:)
But on another note, I noticed you never did a reaction to Nemophila (they just did an online concert, so I actually wanted to see what you had to say about Mayu's voice). Apart from the fact that she oftentimes sports a similar hair colour as you, she alternates freely between screams and (an in my opinion super pleasant) clear voice, not completely unlike JINJER. I'd suggest either "OIRAN" which was recorded live in their studio ( ua-cam.com/video/eyb2NtPwcxc/v-deo.html ) or "Dissension" ( MV, funky hair color incl.;) ( ua-cam.com/video/26aMuahxz8c/v-deo.html )
IVE BEEN WAITING FIR SOMEONE TO REACT TO THESE GUYS! So glad I found it!!
Can't wait, this will be interesting to get you opinion and feedback :)
There was not a single soul that could convince me that Yannis had that vocal range until I saw them in concert a few months ago. Bro is wild.
damn, if you liked Yannis, you should definitely check out Lost Horizon - Highlander (The One) or Cry of a Restless Soul. The singer of that band (Daniel Heiman) is like Yannis but a whole level better (and I wouldn't be surprised if Yannis was inspired by him). If you want more recent stuff, Daniel released an album with Warrior Path. The song Last Tale on that one is amazing
this deserves to be on the top. We finally want some reaction to Warrior Path come on.
@@lefosevan2320 yea, i agree. And daniel has been so underrated for so long. He doesnt even make a living with music, despite probably being the best vocalist in metal. We need more people checking him out
Great review girl thank you new sub love how you get into the music brilliant 🇮🇪🤘🏴
Can you please react to Jinjers new song "vortex"
I saw Beast in Black live a couple years ago. Hearing Yannis sing live was amazing! :D
Yannis actually has a video where he sings "Love Ghost Score" from Nightwish. I really recommend watching that.
I just found you and got to say I love the way you lift out different things. Me who know nothing more then "oh I like this music" it is so cool to hear you lift out things. Makes me appreciate the skill of the musicians even more. Will for sure look into more of your vids 😃👍💪
Saw him live together with Nightwish. They sound great, super energy, and they deserve way more attention. Hope to see them live again in the future post covid.
I remember hearing this song for the first time before that album dropped. I prepurchased from this one song and it's an epic af ablum.
I still come back to this sometimes, just for the ultimate 10 seconds of "WHAT?!" while you gradually comprehend that first verse :D so good!
Having heard them live I cannot describe how high pitch he can actually get... it's... um.... Waaaayyyyyy up there. And he never really looks like he's struggling to do it either! After that concert I went a bit bonkers and bought multiple albums by these guys because they're incredible!
Thank you for this review Julia !! I was really waiting for it !
I went in 2019 in Paris for the concert of Nightwish, and I entered the concert hall, thinking "well, 1st parts are never very good"...
And there the first G5 landed directly on my face with such a power that I was stuck, smiling. The whole music get to your guts. And the bridge where they pull +1 tone... Omg...
The power, the energy they have on the scene is insane. And like you, my head went on the rythm without even thinking about it !! It's been a revelation for me ;) Best 1st part ever !
And yeah, the high pitch tone is totally him :)
Thanks again, Julia, and much love from Paris !
