Battle Beast was actually formed by Anton Kabanen, who also wrote all their songs. Then the rest of the band kicked him out and he went on to form Beast in Black. So there‘s definitely a connection 😉
Anton wanted a dark serious black themed metal band, but Battle Beast started, after the first album, go more to the pop sounding metal and happy color stage clothing. Anton and Juuso (+Pyry) formed Battle Beast. He had enough, and left. It's so funny, he was so obsessed wit black stage clothing but wanted still use the Beast name, so there for became Beast in BLACK 😂 and they wore only black, sang battle beast songs the first shows, before the made "own" music. But as we see, soon he realised that if u want to get famous you have to make pop ish metal songs. And nowdays they have colorfull clothing to and silly stuff.
Thanks for reacting to this, we are very proud of Yannis and trust me, his is one of the easiest names to pronounce.... They came recently to Greece and the show was amazing, they are a great live band.
Rethymno? I was there... and so were many of Yiannis other acquaintances from back in the day (some of which made fun of him for having a "girl's voice").
Well, Yannis basically IS a male version of Floor. Another musical magician who can do anything and everything with his voice! Proof: His cover of Ghost Love Score, which you DEFINITELY should react to! They are awesome live as well btw. (One of the many people who got to know BiB through their Nightwish support show and was blown away right from the first notes here ;D) Definitely another band worthy of checking out more of! Anyway: Great reaction and interesting insights as usual. Keep up the good work! ♥
We went to see Nightwish in November 2022, in Ziggodome Amsterdam (the one with Henk Poort ) . and they were in the support act...never heard of them , but was pleasantly suprised. And they have a new fan since that show. I get a bit of Dragonforce vibes when i listen to them
Seen them twice, first time it was a surprise as I didn't know they were support for Nightwish when I saw Nightwish at the Wiltern in LA in 2022 (I was actually there to see The Warning but a friend mentioned Nightwish were performing there the day I arrived so I got a ticket :D ) and it was a lot of fun! Second time was at Sweden Rock Festival :)
Nothing like good old power metal. Saw them opening for Nightwish and they rocked. Their drummer is freaking tight, the guitarists are good and always look like having so much fun on stage. And Yannis is a great showman and his live vocals are just as insane. Speaking of vocals … pretty solid high note yourself man 🤘
Man, i was thinking about you and the other SC members literally yesterday, and suddenly the Algorithm blesses me with this video to let me know you're doing okay
I totally agree with you wise, I do totally miss seeing SC on a far more regular basis. As a lead guitarist for 40 years from the Midwest I totally enjoyed my introduction to SC and had even arranged for my band to tour out west to try and meet them which fell through. It's awesome seeing that Anthony is doing great and has obviously matured awesomely in his craft. But I still have to wonder how the other members are doing hopefully and prayerfully Great seeing you looking and doing awesome Tony. Rock on and Rock hard
Greetings from Hellsinki, Finland. Please make reaction video for a very unique moment when legendary Finnish metal band Sentenced make their last song of their last gig. So emotional moment in Finnish music history. Sentenced was one of the creators for death/blackmetal bands in Finland. After that Sentenced was like Type O Negative kind of music. Very melancholic music. Sentenced - End of the Road / Mourn / Credits (Buried Alive) LYRICS IN SUBS ua-cam.com/video/SEq77mYG758/v-deo.htmlsi=ad8cfbsLGA44KC7P
First time I heard this on the radio, before the chorus I thought it was a woman singing. He has such a pure and angelic headvoice. Great countertenor. His super high mixed belts remind me of Halford, though I think Rob hit them even higher and with even more piercing twang
Nice reaction, review. When I first heard this song in audio only- I seriously thought there were two people singing. And since you mentioned Floor… Check out this singer’s version of Ghost Love Score. Thanks and enjoy!
THANK you for this reaction and for NOT saying Yannis "sounds like a woman" like SO MANY other reactors. NO, he sounds like a man using his falsetto!!!! I grew up with Prince so I can tell the difference between a females vocals and a males falsetto. As the comments below have suggested go to his channel and react to his cover of Floors version of Ghost Love Score!!!
Going to put in my two cents that you should do Yannis's cover of Ghost Love score next. It's the song that shows his capabilities as a vocalist the best
8:16 - wait, "both" breaks? I know about the chest/head-voice one, what's the other? ALSO: I haven't finished the video yet but in case you don't mention it - go back and listen to the 2nd couplet of the chorus and focus on the highest pitch in the backing vocals, because _goddamn_
Yeah dude's vocals stole the show, like damn how are you gonna sing those notes so cleanly in THAT register? (yeah yeah I know hard work lol) Careful Twon, you might flagged from the Tube if you keep those lethal weapons on display😜
Going up high is easy until.... you turn 'flippin' 60 ... then the crutches come out and the yocal chords skip-n-limp like a log-rolling three-legged turnip. My days of singing Roger Taylor's parts are officially over... of course, I took a 20 year hiatus. Ear-worm hooks : pentatonic tape worms are everywhere. Kinda not surprised they are in this song, too. Editing 'Twon : good job. Corraling ADD-Twon must be a daily challenge. I do not envy you.
@@Anthony_Corso Oh, I see. All my best wishes to all the three of you, you looked like a tight bunch of group. Time works in mysterious ways, but everything aligns when is the right time. Cheers bro.

Yannis does a cover of : Masque of red death from crimson glory... Go for it.
Floor Jansen-y, you say? Well, did you know that Yannis covered "Ghost Love Score" almost to a T the way Floor sang it?
Saw them 3 times live (Belgium and the Netherlands), they where the opener for Nightwish.
They put on a great show.

Since the Beanie likes Finnish bands so much, it should have some Blind Channel in it. Dark Side and Died Enough For You.
I’ve heard that name before. They won Eurovision right?
@@Anthony_Corso they were on 6th place. Represented Finland. They are pretty good!
Yannis Papadopulous (probably misspelled) has his own UA-cam channel where he's done covers of songs, including Nightwish!

That singer was made Nightwish cover Ghost Love Score. Listen it and it's blown your mind...
I saw these guys in Copenhagen last year. For this song, the crowd was singing along so loud on the chorus, you couldn't hear the band playing
Interesting insight!
3/4 of Beanie has finnish bands inside? Not a bad thing. The iceberg has been just scratched 😁

You should listen yannis's version of ghost love score (nightwish)
Yeah, funny he mentions his timbre is Floor Janseny 😀
This is taking metal to the level of Taylor Swift, the '80s version.
What? Weird comparison, seeing as T Swifts music is absolute garbage.
