Nice to feature the Good people behind the scenes that offer the great services . and Wilma and Greg supporting small business is creating Good Will for many years to come .
greg needs to yell ayyyooo ayyyooo when he enters a store ..it is always good for a laugh i think the fees store employees were getting a nosebleed .. another great video ..patronizing local businesses is very important to keep the artisan skills being passed down to the next generation
I’m all for supporting the small, private family-owned businesses. This is a much better lifestyle imo. All those shops provide great service with friendly staff. Wow, the sun (laser beam 😆) there does look very hot and so very BIG in the sky!
@@buildingthephilippines Yah, even here in southern Shikoku, Japan, I always wear a hat and long-sleeve shirts. Heat stroke is a serious risk in the summer months here as temperatures can reach low - mid 40s. But mid to high 30s are the norm with ultra-high humidity. People die each year from heat stroke. I can tell just from watching your videos, it looks very hot 🥵 there, but love the blue sky!
@@buildingthephilippines I do to. It’s winter here now in Kochi, Japan. Older homes here do not have central heating, so the temperature inside my house was 9C earlier. Now it warmed up to 10C. Outside in the sun, it’s 18C. So warmer outside than inside! I open my doors and windows to let the HEAT IN this time of year! Amping David.
Hi U2👋Agreed 100%👍. Everyone benefits from local business both customer and the locals selling goods. You build a relationship, friendship, and knowledge about things you are purchasing. Knowledge is power and the key to life. Never stop learning something new. Blessings 🙏🌺🌼🌸
Let’s see our water bottles never washed they have to be over ten years old! 1.00 for ten pounds of ice, 1.00 for five gallons of water. I do all the fill and carry!
Yup. I like to see you expats in the Philippines especially when you guys show how much you spent on building your beautiful house and seeing the prices in the Philippines like you show in this video. We are planning to retire as well.
Ha ha I knew he would over fill! lol. I use to use a byb for years then they closed and I had to move to a self fill so much cheaper and faster doing it yourself. They never washed or rise bottles!
Gee Ann is not eating anything I don’t know what to do! I’m thinking she is giving up! Also thinking I will be moving to Thailand and maybe visiting the Philippines. It’s all about infrastructure for me.
OMG I can hardly believe how cheap the laundry cost in Dauin. Right now £1 GBP = 71 PHP so laundry would cost less than one UK Pound. I agree with you Greg and Wilma I would not pay 1000 usd for a New wash machine.
I hope the Philippines stays that way with the mom and pop businesses. USA is all franchised businesses and it’s not good. Less and less business owners. Then the few large corporations control and dictate to everyone and the people have no say so. Well I can tell you this. I’ll soon be your neighbor and I’ll be doing everything in my power to support those little stores over there 😊
Hi Greg can you pls let me know what is the NEW Price of your Mitsubishi? Triton Auto 4x4 Pick Up? Or did you buy 2nd hand? 😊❤ Love your channel. I too am considering moving to Dauin and either buy or build a Luxury Pool Villa.
Another good video, thank you. My asawa's family is taking us crime is going through the roof along with drug use and kidnappings. Is there any way you can cover this issue? We are scheduled to retire in June, but we have 2 small grandchildren living with us. Rumors of kidnappings on the rise are concerning me.
Driving in flip flops is very dangerous and can cause accidents, in UK it’s against the law and if caught you will get six penalty points on your driving licence and a £300 fine 😪😪😪😪
Weird thing, my video stabilizer got turned off. Somehow, the camera flipped the opening video. Another setting must have changed. I think a wakwak got into our house. Future topic to spark some banter. Wokeness.
"You also have human food." Lol that sounded so funny 🤣
Lol, I saw rice piled on the side. My video stabilizer got turned off by mistake. Upset about that. Thanks for watching.
Thailand cooks rice for the dogs with chicken pieces!
Here too I've heard.

We like the personal touch the local ships offer. Always try to buy local. Thanks for watching.

Ahhh yes, aaaayoooo. Will do that in the future. Buying local is really the right thing to do. Thanks for watching.

The sun is brutal mid day. Need to be covered up or in shade.

Yes, so true. Definitely agree with that. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks Greg or Wilma for giving me the new price of a Triton in the Philipinnes. I shall convert into GBP. 😊❤
You bet.

Yeah, definitely should be washed.
great local services and good to support the local businesses !!!
We always try to buy local. Creates a more personal buying experience.
It’s always great to shop locally, as it helps the local economy, and adds friendships 😊
Good point on the friendships. Very true. Big box stores doesn't have that personal feel.
Wow! you guys' subscribers are growing. I started watching you when you only have a hundred. Nice job!
Wow, you are definitely a long tune viewer. Thank you.

Yeah, this water is good. Doesn't bother us at all. 35 cents per 5 gallons, so cheap.
Cheaper there, here in BelAir, Makati is 200.00 pesos per kilo, across our hotel, it’s all about convenience.
Convenience it is. 70 pesos is pretty cheap. Will keep using them. Thanks for watching.
Good video!
Thank you

It's really not worth it as it's so cheap and they do a great job. Less work for us too.
@@buildingthephilippineswhat about the bedding, cushion covers, dog bedding?.
They do it all. They just charge more for blankets, bedding and things like that.

I think the 2024's 4x4 go for 1.7 to 1.8 million.

I have not heard or seen that on our Island. I have been told in Southern Mindanao that kidnapping takes place.
Thank you

99% of the country drives with flip flops. Too hot for shoes.
So how long do you think the food will last that was 20k
I'm going to guess 1 month, $53 a bag.
So that big earthquake was that close to you guy?
Not too far away, the other side of Mindanao. We did not feel it, but our friends just down the mountain at sea level felt it.
Did you manage to get Sandy fixed?
No, never got that done. Our vet didn't want to do it.
That’s crazy!!
I know, need to take to Dumaguete to public vet.
Did you both feel earthquake today?
We did not feel it up here. However, friends down the mountain at sea level felt it. They were texting us last night asking if we felt it.
Crap 💩 number 4 today
Pretty good Charles. Thanks for watching.
I feel totally off balance. Different camera? Wilma is normally screen right. Teasing controversy as well? 😂
