Hello everyone and thank you for watching this wonderful clip. It's gotten so many views. If you guys wouldn't mind, check out my art page and subscribe. My art channel is Brian's Upper Valley Artistry. Thanks everyone.
So funny, right before Julia says that she is full of crap, those were the very words I was thinking. Sometimes diplomacy is sooo overrated, let them have it in plain, simple language. It avoids any misunderstandings.
No wonder *EVERYONE* tells me I'm *ALWAYS* going all *Julia Sugarbaker* whenever I get on a roll!! My *FIRST* time seeing any of these clips and, yes, I'm *VERY* proud to have this nickname!! I don't know why it popped up on my news feed for me to watch, but I'm glad I did!! Now I can tell *ALL* my family and friends I know who they are talking about. She's *AWESOME*
Julia certainly DID hold it in as long as she could: just imagine; your son's Crypt Keeper lover twice his age sitting up in YOUR living room/ conference area in her kimono robe and silk negligee during business hours, no less - no M'am, Sam would that EVER be okay for the length of time Julia tried to be diplomatic to that...thing. LOL.
My favorite part of this episode (it isn't in this clip) is when Primmie asks Julia if she has any lavender for her bath. Julia and Mary Jo exchange a look that makes me die laughing every time I see it.
In high school in the mid 1970s a very good-looking Italian-American (redundant, I know) teacher was dating a couple of legal age seniors and he wound up getting fired for it. Even at college level, a school campus should never be viewed by instructors as a large and convenient dating pool. Imagine this woman or any male professor having brazen flings with 20 or 22 year old students in today's word. Not only would there be lawsuits and protests but every commentor on social and main stream media would lose their crap about it.
I can't decide whether this episode was against older woman/younger man relationships or whether it was saying the young man should be trusted to know what he is doing in dating the older woman. Primmie totally messed up in trying to put a wedge between Julia and her son. Any wise woman knows that when her boyfriend/husband occasionally is a jerk, her mother-in-law is her greatest ally that will straighten him out
Really? Imagine you’re a college age male - with all the ego and silliness-- and then imagine a woman flinging herself at him who’s “eloquent like my mother” and you’ve got the recipe for that whole dynamic of: People date someone who resembles their parent (Daughters tend to be attracted to men who are like their father stoic, for example)
It's very disconcerting when men, particularly the younger ones, want a surrogate mother they can also shtup. Scary to consider the reasons for the attraction in the first place.
@@msr1116 ~ I believe some men go with older women because it lowers the expectations of them becoming a responsible, independent adult. When a younger man is with the post menopausal female, there's no reason for them to "grow up"...

Charlene's the best "Well ya held it in as long as ya could!" lol
“I named him Payne because I was I was in labor for two-and-a-half days.”
Lol
Hahahaha that’s great
That one was funny. 😊😊😊
@José Elias I figured that
The eye rolls from Mary Jo and Suzanne! She should not have asked Julia what she thought! I loved how they all turned to Julia at the same time!
I really need the "I think you're full of crap" part in GIF form...
John Griffin I made a GIF for you :)
1:45 Their slow synchronized head turn in Julia's direction.
Never bettered until Lily, Barney & Marshall's head turn towards Robin upon discovering her music video on How I Met Your Mother.
They don’t call Julia Sugarbaker The Terminator for nothing!
itsmegp46 she’s the real Terminator and not Arnold!
@@kimma508 Yeah, right. Arnold's Terminator wouldn't give her a moment to go into her speeches he'd blast her before she got a word in LOL.
Julia Sugerbaker is my spirit animal❣

Mary Jo at 1:39! Lmao 😂 she was like “da fuk is this shit?!” Lmao 😂
Mary Jo' face at 01:38 though LOL
Dixie Carter would’ve been a perfect choice to be Helen Morgendorffer’s voice on Daria.
Well, You held in as long as you could.
Dezerae James Good one Charlene, but hey Julie's right, they all were thinking it she just had the guts to say it
She did, did she? :)
this show had me in stitches.....a lot
"How ya doing Bernice! You little fruitcake!!" 😂
Reminds me of when Auntie Mame met Gloria Upson.
That's probably one of my favorite scenes 😂😂
i'd to find the final scene where Julia put Primmie in her place about Paine had to make a choice between girlfriend and mother.
LOL at Mary Jo at 1:39

I miss this ol' show...
Oh, how I miss Julia Sugarbaker.
I never knew that she also played the woman on home improvement who was in on pranking Tim Taylor with the dead Wilson prank
Dial it back on the purple prose, Lady. The Romantic era is over.

Julia NEVER took any BS from ANYBODY!!
Is that Cloris Leachman's daughter in real life?
No, but her son, Morgan was a regular on Guiding Light during the 80's and 90's.

Admiral Nechayev
