Funniest part was later in the episode, where Suzanne said that she was worried about Anthony embarrassing them, and Julie responded that someone who'd just hummed "St. Louis Blues" while twirling an imaginary baton in front of 25 strangers probably shouldn't worry about someone else embarrassing her. LOL
This was such an amazing and funny show. It always was such a treat to watch it with my sister and my cousin who had just arrived from Mexico I used to translate for her and she did not get the meaning of some of the jokes.
@@christiansoldier77 Designing Women not even being nominated let alone winning at least one or two Emmys for Outstanding show or acting will never be understandable in the 80's or 90's to me.
I love Suzanne and Julia Sugarbaker. I found it shocking and hypocritical when I heard about Delta Burke being criticized for her weight. She is and will always be a gorgeous woman, no matter what size she is. Linda Bloodworth Thomason has no room to talk or criticize others about weight. She herself is not a petite woman. Delta has more class in her little finger than Linda will have in a lifetime. When delta left DW she was greatly missed.
6:54 - If you look carefully [up & to the left' above Dixie Carter's head, you can not only see cut through the "one solid piece" banister--for ease of removal, for obvious reasons--but the latch that holds it in place.
Julia - Dixie Carter Was Very Good ! Charlene Was Also Very Good ! Suzanne-Delta and Mary Jo Were Okay. Anthony -Meshac Was an Annoyance. He Added Nothing.
Suzanne is too hilarious - one of her best.
80's fashion is so derided, but there was a lot of classy, stylish outfits!

I just loved this show, they had manners, dressed nice, and were smart and so funny.
I loved Julia's glasses. Very 80s chic.
7:12 I normally love Annie Potts curls but that slicked back look that shows off her beautiful face is just stunning!
Cannot believe that Dixie NEVER won, nor was EVER even nominated for an Emmy for this show. And the show only won one Emmy for hair. Tragedy!!!!!!!
Mrbear1302 There was a ridiculous amount of competition in the 1980s so its understandable that they didnt win anything
Exactly! Never understood why Murphy Brown or Cheers was winning all those Emmy's! Designing Women was a funnier and better sitcom!
@@Winnipegger100 Exactly!

Refuse to watch any of the episodes after “Suzanne” was gone.

Agreed. When she left that was it for me.
Suzanne is a total Riot😂😂😂😂
This was a great show! Thanks for sharing!
So many accessories.
“Have you just completely lost your mind?”.
The dress Suzanne is wearing in the scene at 5:29 is beautiful...
My fav was Bernice wearing the tree skirt Mary Jo gave her ........
Bernice didn't have a care in the world😂😂😂😂😂
Lol,having seen this a few times before even, I almost went my pants laughing.
Looking at Delta Burke in the first scene... and recalling how she appeared in a black, long-sleeved leotard in an episode of "Who's The Boss?"
😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
Julia and Anthony are missed
Funny Suzanne 😂

They always dressed Charlene terribly. Julia's wardrobe was fantastic. Loved her style
