Good to see ya Kevin. God bless you & your children
Being stuck in Canada no where near the ocean I like the sunrise shot a lot 👍
A true fabricator you are Kevin! Top notch work!!!!
Kevin thanks for another great video. Good luck to your daughter for her gymnastics competition!
Yeah !!! Cutlass time from Cognac France !!!!!!
Thanks for the update !!!!!!
Thank you for our weekly brunch with KSR
Great morning Kevin… oh yeah I’m really glad you took the time to make the front end right. Because Front end geometry is a real thing. Dog leggin at 9sec./ 145mph I think would be a little more exciting than you would want !! Great Sunday videos.
Tough break, Kevin. Better that you spotted it and had a chance to correct it now instead of chasing random front-end alignment issues further down the track though 🙂 See good in bad, it makes life sweeter. More power to ya, bud 🤟🏼
Is great to watch a good fabricator.
I can't wait to see that Cutlass on the strip!
That was such a wonderful intro❤️😇 Anyhoo, great work on following your instincts and checking out the alignment
Great to see the detail of your builds...Perfection!
Yup....Sunday Oldsmobile content...good stuff....thanks...🔧🔧👍
When I hit the lottery you're the first person I'm gonna call! Great work Mr Smith
man, i miss the beach. Traded the beach for the mountains, and that's fine...but the beach was home! Great stuff, Kevin! Super cool to see how you handle these type of problems 🔨
thanks for sharing Kevin!
I must admit I thought in the last video you were coming back from Cleetus with his chassis jig he was going to sale ....love the Sunday Cutlass videos
Awe to be a kid! I say, ahhhh,to be a dad 😊, your a great one Kevin
This is definitely a ROCKY BALBOA type build....it keeps punchin even when it is on the EDGE!!!
Like the opening. Need some perspective every once in a while. 😊
Man I'll bet that chassis table is looking mighty tempting right about now....
Kevin enjoyed the intro.
Stop into the Toronto Canada area beaches. Still 78° to 82°, no humidity or rain.
Time taken now will shorten the 1320 ETs.
Kevin if I may you are a awsome builder and you think about everything. Have you thought of taking a min to pick up and make more room. Love the videos.
Kevin, you rock! Peace
It worked,I liked the intro and want more Like it
As a frame and body guy from the late 70's to mid 90's, that frame wasn't "straight' from the factory... LOL
😂 I was thinking the same thing
Me too. Same experience. 1/4” is insignificant for factory stuff.
😂🇨🇦the frame was probably tweeked from the factory great job,,, Man u WELD like madman NOICE JOB 🇨🇦💯
It's always better to show your suffering and humanity.
It's more relatable.
If everything was made buttery smooth and looked easy, you'd have haters barking/mewling constantly!
Keep at it Kevin, we'll keep watching!
Hi guys love you all
Great sunrise and sets in Florida' I get that mountain and ocean look great northwest, Never fun fixing frames ' yes a jig if your going to keep making chassis cars even a nice sports car frame great work thought with laser and a few mathematical devises .
Shew...at least it is not that hard to fix! Now that chassis table will be in the list of to-have equipment, or build your own. Now would be a good time to check the rest of it...
Sunday fun day cutless day
You do you! Love the intros !!!
Sunday Sunday Sunday Cutloose Oldsmobubble day……. After Kevin makes young one do laps on the beach…….. in the rain…….😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Here in N,C it was in the high 80s and low 90s this pass week
It's still almost 100 here in Odessa Texas 😂🥵
Great video
Thanks for the video
Loved the intro!!
A change is always welcome whether or not they work. Don't forget that you could also just skip the intro entirely for a change the other way. Cheers!
nice job Kevin
Cutlass FTW
Kevin, how do you prevent the frame rails from bending from welding on them as they stuck out with limited support? Do you know it was the left that was high or maybe the right was low from welding on it?
Having no worries as a kid lol
Lets go cant wait to see this rig rip
Yayyyy buick boy!!!
You need to get a frame straightener for just such an occasion!!
Miss seeing Kevin on Cleets channel. They should invite Kevin to the next car challenge from Cleets channel like they did with JH
CNC equipment just bought a metal shop and I'm telling you. I'm a 100% positive. There is a jig in there. Not sure. If it's what you want. I'm pretty sure it is what you want. It is still ooh I could be wrong. It might be aluminum, but anyway, CNC equipment in Nashville. Indiana, they're excellent people to work for I don't know them. Personally, I watch them every day on UA-cam. Check them out, man. They could have what you need and they'll give you a good price.
You've got so much off that Oldsmobile it's not even an Olds. It's more of an.. Ol'. 😂
I see a frame table coming soon!!!!
Well that's totally weird, you've done a great job figuring everything thus far. It doesn't make sense, 1 step forward 2 steps back ☹️ hang in there Kev, you git this !!
🤩🇨🇦by the way it's 78 sunny and DRY ..
It's only a screw up, if you can't unscrew it. Until then, it's just an adjustment.
If all else fails…….. beat the crap outa it…….(PS……get a “BFH”)(if someone needs translation….. pm me😂😂😂)😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Isn't it crazy how much metal will move when you weld on it? Not saying that's exactly what happened here but as you said, likely a possibility. Also, do you like the ceramic tig cups over glass ones for a specific reason? I haven't tried glass ones yet but see quite a few people use them.
Yeah it's time for a chassis table just and once you build a car on it you can always put it back on if anything ever happens to the car and know exactly where and what is hurt
How much is a chassis jig? 🤔 looks good though! Hope your daughter has fun. Making memories is what counts when they're still young. God bless and God speed. 🙂
Are you sure your laser is accurate enough for your tolerances? I'm a fab guy myself and have used multiple lasers like that and found them not that great. Haven't had a really high end one to be fair but for example I've got a decent one at the moment and the self leveling (many don't even give you this figure) is only accurate to 4degs.
Don't rush the customer cutlass 😂😂the Kevin guy be a little mad😂😂,joke of course
These might be a stupid questions. But at least I'm willing to ask them. Can frame repair like that be done with a flux core or mig welder? I currently no longer have a tig welder, long story that's not relevant. What sort of amps are we talking about being needed for such a repair? I know how to weld, but I'm not a "professional" welder. Which is why I'm asking these questions.
What size jig? Like a CertiFlat Chassis Table 48" X 118"?
WaZz up
Yeah twisted frame rails are normal for the gbody.... It's that 160hp and torque they had 😂
KEVIN, rainy Sunday personal church( CUTLASS build) ... Hey , call ALEX AT LEGIT STREET CARS AND BUY THE 91' 5 SPEED SIDEWAYS MOTOR CUTLASS FROM HIM IMMEDIATELY!!!! ALEX LOVES IT !!! BUT IT DESERVES A SPOT NEXT TO SOCCER MOM AND VAL N STEVE'S CAMERO!!! I KNOW, I KNOW....That car is the swan song of Oldsmobile but NASCAR was racing the motor in luminas . Rare rocket!!! COLLAB with him on NORTH AND SOUTH WAYS OF THE GM BIG BLOCK TUNING AND RUNNING ...
You think maybe the welding+heat) you did on the driver side front, plus the added metal, pulled the frame rails down a little ?..I have no idea, just asking..
I measured it before welding it in and it moved a smidge, but less than 1/8”.
You really need a chassis table, work smarter not harder. Just makes sense at your level.
Agreed!
@@KSRPerformanceFabrication your so talented it doesn’t make sense for you to work so hard. A table would bring you work to the next level! You need to find a way to make it happen
I guess a 1/2" off is okay for Gov't work, but, not for cars. You have everything you need, except the metal, so, would it be cheaper to build your own chassis jig, using square tubing, than buying a new one? Many people seem to do that. Have a great day.
Why don't you offer a simple shop shirt with KSR on it with out the graffics, please .
Daytona Shores, or Ormond.....
Break out the bfh
If you had a frame table would you have noticed that befor now ??
YES YES AND MOREEEEE YES!!!!! glad you got it all done! But sometimes you hmjust have to improvise!
The BIG question which wasn't addressed is, Was the passenger side too high? Or...
Is the drivers side too low?
I guess that you will find out when you go to hang the fenders back on.
KEVIN.......
WHAT BEACH IS THAT?
Why didn't you move the engine back ?
It is…..
You proposed to your woman didn’t ya!
The perfect place for it, sunrise on a beach!
I would have checked the lift arms first for level....not saying the chassis isnt bent but i would make sure the lift is 100% befor yoy do work that isnt right....maybe you have checked the lift just throwing ideas out there
The chassis is level in both axis when the lift is on the locks
Its crazy to see how lackadaisical a mechanic is whith their own vehicle compared to a customers vehicle. Lol
Good morning Kevin.
@2:22, is your pinky pregnant?
Lolol, could be!
Maybe parts of your big brain are migrating? Can’t hold it all in the cranium? Im going with that. 👍
HammerTime did not agree with you, did it, KEVIN?
@@Mohawk21-oi1ni, When you get the BFH out, you need to be accurate! Lol
Its only a mistake if you cant fix it.
This is getting really boring pretty much all of this episode was a quarter inch problem with the frame rail really
That’s how it goes sometimes. No fakery with the project going flawless from start to finish and happening in 2 days….lol
@@KSRPerformanceFabrication I think you should probably rethink that you’re in control of the editing you have to make it interesting you rely on people watching it so you can actually make some money otherwise I’ll just wait for the next thing that might be a little more interesting from someone else
Think about it
Look at that kid run……….😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
