Experience a nerve-racking Lovecraftian adventure, rebuilt from the ground up with modern graphics and gameplay. Become Sherlock Holmes, and find yourself at the heart of the terrifying Cthulhu Mythos as you investigate a series of mysterious disappearances in Europe and the US. A Lovecraft meets Sherlock Holmes crossover, The Awakened puts you up against the legendary Cthulhu Mythos. Investigate a series of mysterious disappearances, apparently linked to a dark cult that worships an Ancient God. Whatever their plan is, you must put a stop to it… or face unspeakable consequences. For the first time in his life, Sherlock is truly afraid. A man of rationale and reason, he faces an otherworldly entity that defies all logic, and this discovery is as enlightening as it is shattering. The pursuit of the truth pushes Sherlock to the verge of madness, and it’s the only story that Watson will never publish. Taking place in 1882, The Awakened lifts the curtain on how Sherlock and John, mere roommates at the time, became the world-famous crime-solving duo. oh wow i didn't think they would listen to the fans and make a remastered version of the awakened game. arguably the best game of the frogware sherlock holmes series.
I really love the new Sherlock Holmes games both Chapter one and The Awakened, sure the game is a bit laggy, the graphic is not a high quality and the price is high (wait for the sale imo) but it is still good and I really love the story for both games. Especially what Frogwares did with the character of Sherlock, personally his character looks really good I saw more human (more like understandable ...) side of him you can see he's broken and slowly losing his sanity as the story progress, he feels lost and still.... he wants to solve the case.
Who is more insane in a world where sanity doesn't exist? The one who denies reality out of his own free will, or the one who accepts reality by surrendering his free will?
I love your content keep up the good work, im a big fan and let me tell you what you're doing is awesome and it takes lots of effort thank you for this great content.❤❤
Well technically (and legally) he's not enslaved, as he earns wages. Functionally he is, of course, but that's harder to legislate (and, realistically, not enough people in power would care about his mistreatment to stop it).
Just needed to have a laugh in the comments about Kimiha the Maori servant. As a NZ Maori who is aware of our history i got a giggle out of the scenario because it was so true how blind some people can be.
I’m not the smartest man in the world but…. kimihia sounds like a slave. Sherlock is helping return a slave to a man. Don’t know who’s idea this was to put into the game but I’m surprised people agreed to that storyline
I doubt he would've returned Kimihia, given his disgust at Kimihia's treatment. He took the case because it was an interesting problem, but wouldn't necessarily have followed through.

HELLO
""""""""""Modern""""""""""""" graphics. Sure.
Best Sherlock Holmes movie since Jude Law grew too old for a third film!!! 🤗
I didn’t even know Sherlock had a game coming out! 😂
Paper: ENGLAND AND SWEDEN MAY GO TO WAR.
Sherlock: Local gossip, uninteresting
Me: wtf
It's explicitly mentioned in the books - that holmes doesn't care about political events or figueres- except some sort of crime is involved.
We might as well consider this as the third Sherlock Holmes movie.
“The final problem awaits, you too shall fall.” Damn 🔥
I'm a fan of Sherlock Holmes from Uzbekistan
In 36:06, there is a view of the Tower Bridge, but if the game is set in 1882 this is not correct because constructions began in April 1886.

This is one of those few rare examples of a good lovecraftian horror game.

That little Doll Heidi scared the bejesus out of me. I wont be sleeping tonight.
1:56:12 amazing Discworld reference
The best part is being able to greet all the dogs. 5*
2:39:22 when he asked for that book I was like screaming "don't let him, he will get mad!" When you chose "of course" I like "nooooooo!" Lmao!
I remember playing this game in 2007 it makes me so excited seeing it remade
ah. i was expecting Cthulhu to rise from the depths
burying the lede..
the first time I heard this idiom... even the developer misspelled it as 'lead'
Maurizio, I think that is more like sherlock's arch nemesis, Professor James Moriarty if you reconfiger the name properly. 1:14:00
22:56 Sl*very within a Commonwealth Nations is insane

Seems like Sherlock ventured too hard on this one. GGs
Does the game come with 3d audio?
Shutter Island vibes
Champagne got that Disney treatment

this was way back in the past Einstein
Personally, I'd prefer my historically themed video games to not be stock standard, feel-good sanitized revisions and replications of the past.
Kimihia is a maori.
And the only people who ever had maori slaves...were other maori.
Welp, you said it yourself, you're not the smartest in the world 😂

Still not better than la noire
