Being told that you're going to hell for listening to rock-n-roll is a rocker's rite of passage -- who knows, they could be right, rock spawned from blues and jazz, which some will assure you is most certainly the Devil's music. :-D Never forget the 80's was big on the Satanic Panic.

This particular video was filmed in my home town, at Newcastle City Hall, UK. A great reaction video, it exactly mirrored my own feelings first time I watched this video 30 years ago.
Steve Harris wrote this song after a nightmare after watching Damien Omen. Being a Christian and a preacher’s kid so many are ignorant to the lyrics and meanings of songs like AC/DC - Highway to Hell. I love Iron Maiden and even my 77 year old mom likes Maiden’s Bring Your Daughter (To The Slaughter).
Yeah, Iron Maiden live is WOW. I really don't have enough words for describe that experience, and if one day you can go to see them live is something that you never gonna regret
While you were talking about the controversy that came up when this, and other, songs/groups came out in the past, it dawned on me what a unique opportunity these reactions are for all of history from here forward. See, I was born in the sixties and my generation was furtunate to be able to hear the songs that our parents grew up with in the 50's, but I have no idea really what my grandparents experience was. What their music was, if any. Back then, music wasn't so transportable thru space and time as it is now. While I'll never know what my grand- or great-grand- parents experienced musically, I know that my grandchildren (on the way now) will have the chance to experience the musical part of their great-grandparents lives. I'll be able to tell them about the music they loved and let them experience it first hand, either thru services like youtube or by exploring the collection i've built over 40+ years, since I was a teenager. This is so unique!! My grandparents had no music for me to hear and my parents music was mostly from their late 20's on. I can't imagine the long-term societal implications of this kind of transference. But getting back to the controversy...my parents didn't have a musical perspective of their past available to them, to the extent that I have available to me. For our parents the implications of music probably seemed very unfamiliar, and as is often the case with the unfamiliar, we often react in fear. So, yea, "you'll burn in hell for listening to that stuff" kinda seems more understandable when I see things from their perspective. Keep up the good work.

My favorite Iron Maiden song is "Revelations" you should check it out. Keep it up! Much love from Nebraska oh and UP THE IRONS! 🤘
that's the impression i got from you guy's .thanks for clearing that up...enjoy your trip...
if you want it a bit more light hearted listen to the song "holy smoke".
Holy Smoke is for sure a lighthearted song with a very catchy opening riff, and just all around fun to listen to!
"Plenty bad preachers for the devil to smoke." It is, indeed, a great song, but just about every single song by Iron Maiden is great.
If you should ever decide to do a full album review, Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son would be a good choice.
I've been fortunate to see them live 3x's in the 80s and 90s.. This tour was one of them. They know how to put on a show.
Their concert experience is very very impressive. I went to their concert in Tacoma, WA a few months back. Worth every penny! My fave of their songs is Run to the Hills, but all of it is good stuff. Happy to see a new Maiden fan (well two, along with your wife from what I've seen)... Great stuff.
Were not religious at all , but the title says "Good Christian Man reacts" So what is that then clickbait?
Christian and religious doesn't necessarily mean the same thing.
@@HocusPocusFocus69 Christianity is a religion. Not sure how you can defend that claim
@@neilbeaton9498 Most of us in the west are Christians, but not necessarily religious. Do you go to church on Sundays? Do you believe Jesus is the actual son of God? Probably not, fully. But we're all Christians anyway, whether you like it or not.
@@turbochristI think you're using vague definitions. Christianity, by definition, is a religion. I go to church every once in a while, even though I'm neither religious nor Christian. I go to church because it's a community thing to do; it's a good opportunity to see people. I don't believe in God or Jesus or anything like that, but I don't mention any of that when I'm at church. Church is just a social norm; a thing people do.
@@neilbeaton9498 Thus, you're a christian. Very simple.
Being told that you're going to hell for listening to rock-n-roll is a rocker's rite of passage -- who knows, they could be right, rock spawned from blues and jazz, which some will assure you is most certainly the Devil's music. :-D Never forget the 80's was big on the Satanic Panic.
I was going to say pretty much the same thing - you're not a rocker until you've been assured by at least one person that you're going to hell for listening to that devil music,,
Gotta say, you are fucking awesome buddy, I cannot stop watching your reactions, and I usually hate reaction videos. I'm trying to finish up a big midterm essay here and yet I got your vids playing on the side of the screen. You know how to appreciate good music and talent, and I'm not just saying that because its some of my favourite music, its a blessing in general. Thank you for these vids
One of my all time favorite songs of all time!! 93s
"Tash and I aren't religious at all ?" Not what the headline caption says 🙁
lol, click bait
react to phantom of the opera iron maiden
Definitely worth seeing live. I wasn’t a huge fan until I saw them live. I’ll never miss a concert now. Seeing them for the 4th time in a couple of months.
You need to see them live! They put on an awesome show!
Now watch the Documentary Flight 666. If you do a vid just talking about it, we’ll watch. Edit: It’s on UA-cam for free 😁
yessss
ukkowalski That’s awesome! Bruce is one of my favorite people. One of a kind for sure.
This particular video was filmed in my home town, at Newcastle City Hall, UK. A great reaction video, it exactly mirrored my own feelings first time I watched this video 30 years ago.
Another classic song! Great reaction again!
Thanks good christian man... I've seen maiden first time in 1984 i was 16 yrs old. I still remember the show. Take care my man
That scream, pierced my faltering young soul, and i am forever a Maiden fan.
One of the most iconic songs. Always performed at concerts.
They really took off with this song and album!!
Definitely rock stars and moving forward towards Piece of Mind and then Powerslave.
Iron Maiden has always had a way of drawing people in and wanting more! Welcome to the Family brother! I have been a fan since the very beginning!
Hi. Loving your "reaction videos." I've been a Maiden fan for 30 years. Seen them live here in the UK twice before. I love your enthusiasm for the band, music and stories they tell.
You should watch and listen to them in chronological order. That way you can experience their devolpment as time progresses. Also you should watch some interviews the the band to sort of get to know the chaps a little.
Keep up the great vids!
80s iron maiden at its best and that's metal 🤘⚡🤘
