Really enjoying the instruction on this channel. Clear, logical,
no nonsense, with no gimmicks. Keep up the very good work. 👍
Very sweet of you, thank you! Yep thats me, no bullshitting and explain things in the way people can understand...
Since the pandemic, UA-cam videos have ruined my swing and my golf game. Your videos have straightened out things for me and I can enjoy golf again. Many thanks and more power to you.
Thanks for the nice words. So happy to help you in your Game!
thank you for your instruction. You answered many of my questions in this video!
You are welcome! Glad the video fullfills its promises :)
👍😎😊 great advice martina,
Thank you!!
Some spot-on instruction here. Particularly like the clip about the reverse tilt, a problem that besets my swing from time to time. clip
Thank you!!
I have tried for years to not have my lead shoulder go forward. The up-down shoulder in combo with the turn video is the only that has worked. Thanks. Now if I could only get my hands in front of club head at impact! Hope you have a video on this soon. Thanks
Just set them in the right position at address! They will get there again, if you let the body do the work!
@@martina_eberl_coaching_en thanks, I am trying, but haven’t gotten good impact position yet. My body must be doing something wrong 🙄
@@CeeAB Find a good Pro and let him/her explain to you, why you loose you handposition! Its hard to figure it out just by yourself if you are not experienced enough!
This video is excellent, Martina! The discussion of swing plane and angle change from short irons to driver is very helpful. Thank you for your videos!
You are welcome Alan! Glad I could help!
Your teaching is so great. I just became a subscriber to your channel.
Thanks a lot! Very happy you joined!
Enjoying your teaching. How to do the downswing from start to finish. Thankyou
I will take it on my list for the next filming day, ok?!
great job, you communicate great, i loved the different set up, 9 iron, hybred vs driver,
excellent, thank you.
Ron Reinhart
Thank you
You are very welcome!
You explain things very clearly, thank you. I would really like to hear your thoughts on the transition and weight shift.
You are very welcome! There will be many more videos coming up! Also about the shift. But if you stay centred over the ball, there is not much shift to do. The lower body needs to get into position on the left side, but the rest does not nessecarily need to move laterally.
@@martina_eberl_coaching_en Thank you so much for replying, this makes a lot of sense to me as it fits in very well with what I have recently found works best for me, not moving too much laterally and making my head the central point of my turning so it stays behind the ball coming into impact. I look forward to the full video on this! Thanks again.
@@richards5910 You are very welcome!
Hi Martina, regarding the head yes all makes sense what you say in your video. My question is when you look at the videos or pictures of some golfers, their head appears down and behind the ball after the impact and even later. Why is that? Thanks.
Don't get me wrong: in a real slow motion, the head is supposed to keep the position which it had at address. But after impact let it go with the flow and your body!
@@martina_eberl_coaching_en Yes, it makes sense. Thank you , Martina. Throwing a ball example from you tells also what it should be.
Excellent explanations. With the one piece takeaway created by the body, could you explain how you achieve a swinging feeling with the arms. The takeaway seems very mechanical and not free flowing. Thanks.
It always depends what type of player you are. If I would let it go in a flow, the club would travel to far behind me... It really depends!
Very good video with the detail of each action of the swing. If it was possible to have the same video but with slow motion. Thank you. Good day
There will be slow motions videos, promised.

Thank you, that's nice of you.
Can u demonstrate the downswing and impact ? How to hit the golf ball? Thanks
I ll take it into notice for the next filming day!
thank you for your lessons and I have followed your suggestion of "you gotta turn - but the right way". The result of doing it, and I have find out the projectory of my ball is much much higher than I expected. Is it good or bad?
Well jerry, personally I like higher billflights. But I don't know how your impactpostions of your hands is. Make sure they are slightly ahead of the ball!
Years ago we were listening and watching LPGA Pro Brandie Burton give a group demonstration. When she finished she ask if there were any questions, one lady ask Brandie "I thought we needed to keep looking at the ball as we hit it, but why does Annika Sorenstem turn her head so fast when she hits the ball, Brandie replied I do not know why she does that but I can tell you Me and the rest of the ladies on the LPGA Tour wished she wouldn't do that.
Nice Story
I've heard it is important to take a divot with your swing. If so, why? I think I saw one swing of yours when there was no divot. Any times when you don't need to take a divot? Thanks for your reply
Well, it's important, that you hit the ball first and the club is moving down to the ball as long its sitting on the ground. If you take a divot has many different reasons. I personally sometimes struggle with a too shallow swinplane and additional with a little angle of attack. The depth of the divot is not decisive, its the way you hit the ball!
How and when to hinge wrists on backswing?
Hi, is going to come out soon! Already filmed!
I’m 69 and I hit my clubs fairly straight. My friends say I have little to no follow thru. Any suggestions
How do you strike the ball regularly?
How do I keep from hitting thin shots they are ruining my game
Hi Bill, there could be many many reasons. Not knowing you and your swing at all it's hard to give you a proper advice. But here is an idea for you: Take 100 balls in put yourself in a downhill slope, not too severe but you need to be forsed of hitting from up to low along the slope. Adjust yourself to the slope as well. After that put yourself in a level lie and have the same thought of swinging down a slope. You might create more depth with the club! Let me know!
I come steep and over the top. How can I fix this? Can I send you my swing video?
We are working on Livesessions and also Onlinelessons! Watch the video about the turn and there will be many coming up, which will be a big help for you!
A famous Hall of Fame golfer taught the "turn and turn" swing. I see now from your videos that is not quite correct. But when tilting (not turning), do you tilt the shoulders (up and down), or tilt the spine (sideways)?
I am a fan of having a centred spine so there is not much movement going on which hang hang back etc... It's a turn around your spine. The hip will move a bit forward in the followthrough to be on the frontfood! Up and down thought could be a good idea!
@@martina_eberl_coaching_en On the backswing I raise my right shoulder and this lowers my left shoulder while maintaining my spine angle from the starting (address) position. Then, again maintaining the spine angle, I raise my left shoulder on the downswing. You have helped me fix my years-old problem with fairway woods (hitting the ground before the ball). Thank you
@@hboprof Very good way of thinking. Glad if that works for you!
