Martina Eberl Coaching - EN
Germany
Приєднався 24 тра 2022
Hello, I am Martina Eberl former LET and LPGA Tour player and run Martina Eberl Coaching. As a multiple winner on the Ladies European Tour I've been one of the most successful German golfers. Since I stopped playing professionally myself, I try to pass on my knowledge and skills around golf to everyone out there. I do private lessons at the Golf Club Odelzhausen near Munich, host golf and fitness events, and also try to share tips and ways to progress in your own game on UA-cam and Instagram. Enjoy my content and good luck on the fairways out there! I am looking forward to your feedback.
Driver Basics - Take care of these important fundamentals
The best players in the world keep on checking their Basics nearly every day. Unfortunately a lot of Amateurs put this attention a bit in the background and focus way too much on the club and their swing.
Basics like:
1. Grip
2. Ball position
3. Adress position
They all need to be taken care of every time you hit the Golfcourse. In this video I am recalling all the Basics for your Driver. Out of my experience, a lot of bad shots are the result of not setting up correctly in general!
Have fun practicing!
Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more tips and tricks to improve your golf swing. Let's tee off to success together!

Very informational! Thanks!
😊👍
Very good tips once again = Many thanks!
Another gem, thank you Martina. 😃😄☺️
...and many more to come dear Nanny :) You are welcome!!
I should have watched this 3 weeks ago! Excellent instruction!
Exactly right as usual and just what I needed after a very wet winter and just trying to get it all together again thank you again 👍
For sure, sorts out a few Driver issues. Good one
So when I straighten my right leg is it ok to bend my left knee even more to get the left shoulder closer to the ball ? And can I bend the left knee to much?
Of course you can do too much as well... once you leave your hight!
Excellent explanation. Now I know to align my body to the slop and remember to ball will tend to go to the low point.
Very good!
Thank you your video showed a critical movement of the left shoulderAnd creating pressure in the right heel at the fullextent of the backswing.. your video was simple to understand and to visualize and to execute.
Thanks for your feedback. Glad I could help!
Awesome tip!
Thank you!
Absolute Gold !!
Thanks, thats nice to hear!
Always great lessons. I watch all of them. They help me a lot. Thank You.
And there are many to come Larry :)
Will try a slow motion on my next game n feedback
Slower is always good for the beginning, to try out and feel a proper move!!
My instructor has been expressing the importance of the stance and putting weight on the inner portion of the right leg and foot. I was not using my legs properly which was causing my swing to go from the outside in which generated poor results. I saw the proof on the Trackman. This video reinforces my lessons. Thank you!
Congrats for having such a good instructor :)! You are very welcome!
This video and the last about turning down has been an “aha” moment for me! Thank u!
That's great news! Keep going!
Point taken,This has been my problem, Believe me,i happened to discover it recently, somehow with help of your previous videos on different topic.
Well I'm glad I got the right topic for you finally :)
I will try, now on
Let me know how it works for you!
Excellent. Thank you
You are welcome!
So, how do you get rid of the shank?
Do you see yourself doing one of these options?
Wonderfull,Short,simple and effective.
Thank you very much!
Martina great instruction video ...... keep up the great lessons ..... your my number 1 teacher on youtube
Thank you Ian! No worries, there is much to come!
I love it. Thank you.
You are welcome, glad you like it!
oh thanks Marthina for this shank video that 'im have been waiting ..its really very helpful with your simple explanation...🙏
Well thats great news, I know how it is if you are lost in space and don't know what to do. I really hope you this can help you!
Thanks Martina, this is probably the best video I've seen on the reasons and possible cures for a shank.
Well Robert, as I said in the video, there are many reasons, I just picked out very common ones! Really happy you like it!
excellent. super glad i found you and your info.
Thank you Martina for your great tips with the Driver ...... Changed a few thing after your youtube video with my set-up ..... had great results ... many thanks.
Very happy for you! Thanks for your comment!
Nice video.
Thank you!!!
So simply explained! Yet again another easily understood tip from Martina♥️ The way I will remember this is “Longer Left” since I am right handed.
Very good!
I love how easy it is to slow your video’s down to 0.25% on the iPad. I can watch every second of your swing in super slow motion which really helps to cement the instruction in my head then practice in front of the mirror to match your angles as well as I can. Thank you once again.
Thanks for watching all my videos!
The more chipping advice the better as far as I’m concerned! This was helpful but more is better 😅
There will be coming even more...
There is a lot more than your two possible reasons to hit it thin. 😅
For every mishit are about 1000 different reasons. I am talking about the most common ones...
Thanks Martina. I have started thinning the chips recently and it's probably due to leaning too far left. Off to the range now to put your ideas to the test!
Let me know if it became better!
It became better! Unfortunately I then put my back out while hitting a few drives so no gollf for a while. I need to look at your warm up vido again😂
@@briancooling1260 Oh noooo, get a good Physio and TigerBalm! Get well soon!
As always, a very detailed explanation Im sure this will be a video I return to often! Thank you Martina.
thanks martina, 😊👍
You are welcome!
Loved the low point explanation! I am improving that part of the strike but now notice that most of my shots are out on the toe?
Great tips Martina! I do pretty good not thinning my pitches, but I struggle with my short chips. It seems like I blade my chips about half the time. Is this caused by the same mistake?
Give it a go with one of Chipping Videos. I can't tell what your mistake is by guessing :)
How do you fix it?
Hands lower
Thank you mama 👏 👍
Watch my other videos talking about the Low Point!
What about having high hands I.e. where your hands finish above the waistline too soon ?
Sure, but then you are pulling up the club with your arms! As I said before, there are 1000 reasons, I am taking about the two most common one in my world in coaching!
When you say, "a little bit left," do you mean your left, meaning a little forward?
So helpful, this is currently my number one issue, lifting my head and shoulders too early. Thank you Martina for this perfect explanation.
This is a massive “bugbear” with me, that so few golfers warm up! As a young woman I was a serious dancer and so warming up is part of my life! I don’t care a fig if people think I look peculiar at the course, I’m not there for their entertainment but to play golf! Its so important to take care of your own health and to ignore any sneering from petty people! Thank you Martina so much for showing us these excellent moves.
Thanks for sharing! Nice one! Keep going!!!
Hi Martina Good to see you. Regards Manzoor golfpro/teacher
Good to hear from you too Manzoor!
@@martina_eberl_coaching_en It is a pleasure as usual Martina. I really like your teaching method . Regards
Martina Are you running a golf accadamy.wwhere are you from. Manzoor
Can you do more slow motion too
I will, promised!
40 year of three putting and you fix it in 10 minutes. Last 3 rounds winter golf I never three putted once. Pistols in the grip miracle cure, thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is so nice to hear! Very happy for you! Good luck this season!!!
This applies only for short iron only?
The right turn applies for all clubs. The only difference is the way how much down due to the address position. With a Driver you normally stand a bit more upright, so the turn is of course not as much down as with a wedge. Hope I could help!
turning my shoulders in the back-swing so that my left shoulder moves to a position directly under my chin is one of my key thoughts. This tends to give me a neutral swing plane. Holding the club very, very lightly to trigger some wrist cocking is another one.
Great stuff - all is great if it works for you!!!!
I have one question Martina, how strong should the elastic band be? I have been considering buying one but don’t want to overdo it. Im 68 and not very fit (though much fitter than last year when I took up golf as a sport) , I don’t want to risk injury.
Well, you have to feel a resistance but I guess you will have to test it. Just go to a good gym, there you normally have many different grades of resistance! There are so many brands so there is no line of colours I could recommend!
This explanation is perfect. I have really been struggling with the idea of rotation versus sway, very helpful. Many thanks.😊
You are very welcome!
