I think gypsy water smells slightly better, but the problem with both of these fragrances is they sit so close to the skin and don't have much of longevity to brag about. Both have 10/10 in just the pure smell category
I’m wearing this scent from a decant as I listen to your review and I think your review nails it. I really like the scent but don’t think the price tag is justified. I would buy it if the price was more in line with the quality. The sillage is moderate on me and it is a lovely scent but not mind blowing.
I have a sample of this and I keep going back to it which is a good sign. I usually prefer a stronger sillage but this scent is beautiful so I may have to make the full bottle purchase soon.
I literally spray this on my pillow before I sleep. It's so smooth and calming like a buttery honey and vanilla and so much going on but always stays pleasant..but the price
Im also torn between bal d afrique and gypsy water.. but I think I will go to bal d afrique based on your thoughts about it.. if I made a right decision I will include it in my review😁
I love Bal d' afrique. On me, it's mostly more floral and I almost don't get the "fruit" notes. I like how soft the sweetness is cause I can wear it in hot, humid weather without feeling choked up. Weirdly, didn't like G.water on me. I appreciate the vibe but honestly I like Mojave Ghost more. It performs well and longer on me than G.water.
Guy could definitely wear it. If you’ve already smelled it and like it, go for it. It’s a compliment getter on a guy or girl. When I say a bit feminine, I mean for my taste and the scent is a bit simplistic
Great Video! Some people describe it as a mango or pineapple perfume. Would you say that it does smell like that? I'm looking for a perfume that reminds me of Piña Colada and would appreciate if you could share your opinions on it.
Hey I have Bal D’Afrique and I wouldn’t say so. To me the fruity is mainly from the pop of citrus, and it smells exactly like those towels you find in your 5 star hotel bathroom. Fresh, clean, expensive and sophisticated with a slight zing
This scent is fruity but smell very artificial to me. Smell generic. Was quite disappointed. I think gypsy water is way better and more unique. Both of their performance sucks imo, considering the price point

I blind bought a bottle and I don’t have a single regret. It’s stunning and I recommend it to anyone

You should try their Super Cedar if you haven't. That one is right up your alley based on your tastes :)
When a perfume chemist is really an artist & have ability to balance and get the best on each note.

The vetiver that I can spray generously.
A great review. Thank you!
I really like this scent but I'm afraid that it might smell too feminine. What's your opinion on this? Can a guy wear this scent?

What's that tee you're wearing?
Save your money, people! This smells like lemon for 5 minutes and then completely disappears. Better buy a Chanel!
😂😂😂
I just blind buy it. The body cream and shower gel. Wish me luck
I SUBSCRIBED, by the way!
It is not very special and muuucch too expensive for such a weak (but average) performance. Greetz from Holland 🌺

thank me later. I always smell like no there and get plenty compliments 😊
Cant smell it at all. Only time a perfume has done this to me. Just nothing.

this fragrance literally smells like cleaning wipes to me
Really?! Haha never heard that one. Just goes to show how subjective fragrances are
