Very similar to mine! Though i put myriad slashes + critical aura on him. With critical zealot and high phys it does an insane amount of damage. Though it is a turn 2 set up it is usually fine as that same turn i'm usually debuffing/buffing. Yoshitsune is still my favorite though, impaler's animus + hassou tobi is unbeatable, specially if the boss resists phys.
I personally don't like Myriad Slashes due to it's 50% hit rate and while Hassou Tobi on Yoshitsune is definitely cool, the random damage lowers it's usefulness against some bosses and it deals less damage than Mac na Luin and other late game abilities, which is one of the reasons I replaced Yoshitsune with Fionn.
@@RozalinGaming critical aura ensures 100% hit and you double the damage by virtue of being critical so it ends up outperforming his unique attack significantly 🤔 though this combination is good in any phys demon. Youre totally right about the dispersion with yoshitsune though. But idk, its just so cool.
@@MrNagano00 Forgot about the 100% part of it, so yeah definitely an option. Still not sure if I'd personally use it though since my playstyle when using physical demons is to use them to get me an extra press-turn every turn for the MC until I can use the guaranteed critical from Omagatoki: Critical. Using a turn for Critical Aura basically ruins that. Maybe if you could actually get it at a reasonable level I'd be more inclined to try and make it work in a build. :/
Man I love Fionn as much as the next guy, but the fact that Akashic Arts is 5 points stronger in both base/crit damage than Mac an Luin makes me real sad. But at least (iirc) Fionn is more mana efficient than Akashic so not much is lost
Akashic Arts is also a later game skill with the earliest access being a Mada essence or Uriel essence (quest requried). Without essences, access to it is even later.
i m maybe a little late but u can use a Principality to make the Baihu ( the rest of the build is still valable sometimes 1 demon is not the same but we just neet to improvise 😄)
i was wondering if this build would still be viable in vengeance? on top of that, i was wondering if there's any skills you'd recommend over what he has here now that demons can also use essence for themselves? like is it possible to get an essence for null electricity?
Demons have always been able to use essences to learn new skills; that isn't something new to SMT5V. As for if he's still viable, he is, though he may be fragile if you plan to take him into a Godborn run.
Rationale is mentioned starting at 1:00. I wanted to guarantee two actions on my MC every turn. I also never gave CA to my MC because KV is too good to not use, even with a Murakumo build.
Based on the replies in the comments and your general demon builds, I'm going to guess that your Nahobino is built similar to bainz' Murakumo build, but with Critical Aura swapped out for Kannabi Veil, Almighty Pleroma swapped out for Energy Drain since you said that stacking Pleromas isn't worth it, and Abyssal Mask swapped for presumably High Restore since none of your demons run AM. I never thought of using a physical demon just to get extra Press Turns. I think I'm gonna use that to turn my Nahobino into my main damage dealer against bosses.
Not sure who bainz is but my MC skills are as follows: Murakumo, Energy Drain, Kannabi Veil, Null Ice, Drain Force, Critical Zealot, Enduring Soul, and Almighty Pleroma. And yeah, stacking Pleromas is a very marginal gain and not really worth it unless you're going for screenshot damage. I do use Almighty Pleroma on MC since it buffs Murakumo and Energy Drain, and MC doesn't get High Almighty Pleroma. High Restore isn't needed due to Energy Drain and my personal playstyle is to primarily use MC for damage during Magatsuhi: Critical turns so I dropped Critical Aura for Critical Zealot instead. Kannabi Veil is used because that skill is ridiculously good.
You can disagree but the scaling says otherwise; not to mention I didn't have a single demon with both pleromas on for my hard mode Demi-fiend kill. That fight isn't about damage, it's about strategy and countering his AI, which happens to be very predictable. The only time it's "necessary" is if you are going for OTKs on hard and need every ounce of damage, and even then having both may not be necessary depending on your MCs stats.
It's always better to refuse demons who join you. Not only can you more easily customize their kits that way, they can gain bonus stats through fusion.
In general the Pleromas are weaker in this game than past SMT/Persona titles. The amount gained from stacking both generally isn't worth the skill slot unless you have an abundance of free ones or are making a demon specifically for the Demi-fiend fight.
I'd love to see your take on an OP Nahobino build and a hardcore magic caster. I remember your Titania from SMT3.
I cant wait to see a op artemis build
These build videos have helped me out quite a bit.

whats the rationale for not running crit aura? wouldn't you just want to CA -> MaL every turn, similar to a murakumo build?

valk essence does not have resist elec for me
You probably have to level valkyrie up. Best of luck
You'll probably do a blaster caster build at some point, who are the contenders for that slot?

i dont agree with the statement said @ about 2:35
having both pleromas is basically mandatory for most demos for ex. demi fiend fight

Is it better to keep him when he joins your party after the battle or fuse him??

I’m at the Odin fight but I don’t see him in my special fusion. Did I miss something or is it DLC only
