YOUR BOOS MEAN NOTHING, I'VE SEEN WHAT MAKES YOU CHEER.
Hey Rick...
I'm also somewhat of an intellectual
EVERY BREATH I TAKE WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION RAISES MY SELF ESTEEM
This kind of fits Bill Burr
Why does that quote fit so well with Billy booze bags 😂😂😂 I can legit hear him saying that
I love how he goes "Hey look... Nah I can't say that.. *Immediately says it*"
In his mind:"Naah...f**k it, I'll say it!"
Kasper W naw. I feel like he had something even more brutal, but chose to do that insteax
Hasn't lost his New England attitude
The best!!
The dude has two minds
I love how he says "I can't say that" and then proceeds to say it

Bill burr for president
And his long-lost brother, Christopher Titus ... I mean, he's crazy, but still kind of sane :-)
If Carlin was still alive he’d be up there too
This is so correct, it's painful.
Yo Enjoy Bill Burr's comedy Top 😁

"He's gone but they still came out with another one"...The truth has been spoken!
Although in Job's defence all of the phones after he died were pretty trash
Well here is the thing, he gets to be compared with God's but he's also part of the company that enforces child labour
Tiago Casquinho 'God' condoned and sanctioned slavery so, child labour for the win!
DESTROYED
Depends who your God is, YAHWH didn't he gave rules to those who had slaves to treat them well, he didn't condone it he just made sure they were treated right and Jesus wanted all mankind to be free. Common misconception that he sanctioned it, also another misconception is the slavery in the Old Testament, it is not the type of slavery we know as in modern times (mainly propogated by the most "peaceful" religion), it was not against a race or type of people it was generally that you owed somebody money for example so you worked to pay it off as a "slave".
I love how he counters Conan “he was like Edisson.” by naming the true forgotten genius Tesla.

@@RK-lq2ud well, it could be his hidden message, but I doubt it.
thats the joke my guy
I watched Conan for a long time, the way he delivered that joke+ his face expressions, that was definitely a hidden joke
As an engineer I never understood how Steve Wozniak didn't get more credit than Steve Jobs. Wozniak was the engineer who actual built things.
because of marketing and Jobs owning Pixar which people like to forget
Woz, the great and powerful
You know woz admitted he had no idea how to manage or sell his products to the masses right? Without jobs vision apple wouldn’t even exist.
@@happybear3706 not really, someone else coulda took jobs' place of selling. woz was irreplaceable, without him theres no product

1:47 "He's gone, and they still came out with another one!" DAMN RIGHT!!
Yes, That's was Steve Jobs' philosophy! During early Apple, He was the one who did every single thing with little delegation and it was a mistake. He wanted to build more leaders who can run Apple without him passively. Apple still exists onky because of the his philosophies, visions and management. Apple has become worse after Jobs' death tho
Bill is actually right.
Steve jobs didn't invent anything.
Not the hardware or software.
not the designs or marketing.
not the manufacturing or customer experience.
He was a ruthless manager, who had the board's backing.
Its always easier to promote a product if a person is its face, rather than a giant corporate machine.
Bro u have no brain who build this brand just go and watch his presentation. Just understand and compare current situation if u have brain u will understand
Bruhh funniest comment by omar faruk without introducion the is no content introduction is the starting of a topic keep in mind its not easy
steve jobs didn't even know how to code or program!
Steve was a great salesman and spokesperson. He also had SOME input on the design and other technical aspects but what he did best was sell the tech they made to the public.
Yes. iPods? MP3 players (iRiver, Samsung, Cowan etc.) and very popular and common already in South Korea before the iPod came out.

he also said it at the peak of apple's and job's popularity. As much as i agreed with bill then saying it out to anyone with an iphone got crazy hate. Now, everyone else is shitting on them like a guy with seed in a bird park.
Bill is way ahead of his time.
HardcoreSolo Bill just doesnt jump on the band wagon and sees things for what they really are.
Exactly what he did.
Haha, yes! Took everything from Tesla.
He was like Edison. So true.
Edison was con artist too.
Lol no. Edison was a genius inventor AND a ruthless buisnessman. One doesn't negate the other.
@@borkvelasquez8157 let me guess, you think Steve jobs is genius and ruthless business man too.
Right?
One of them is not like the other. While Steve mainly oversaw development and was a primarily front figure , Edison legitimately worked on 100+ plus project and greatly improved telephones (invented carbon transmitter), blub ( developed carbonized bamboo which made them long lasting and affordable) to list the tip of the iceberg. Though he spent his late life like a thug buisnessman, his work as a inventor is legendary.
@@borkvelasquez8157 You got the last part correct. Other than that you need to read history again.
Edison did actually contribute a lot to the scientific research process. Until Edison most scientists researched on their own. Edison facilitated and expanded the group research process. The fact that he was a douche and a patent troll does not negate that he did actually contribute legitimately to science as well.
"When David Lee Roth left Van Halen, could Eddie not play guitar anymore?" is by far the best analogy Bill had ever made.
Rip Eddie
I dont get it. Lee was a singer who could be replaced, not the songwriter. Van Halen was famous for the Eddie guitar sound not for his vocalist.
@@melquizedec that's exactly the point. Steve Jobs was not making the phones, he was just the dude marketing it.

Burr should be hosting something like the daily show
I agree 💯 with Bill. I always thought the same thing
I don't. Bill's funny, but that doesn't make him smart. Look, the reason Jobs is respected is because he's the one who comes up with the crazy ideas about Iphone and Ipad and all those other stuff. Jobs didn't make the Iphone, true, but he came up with it (If you get the difference.). If anyone could think of it, why didn't anyone else make the Iphone? Disappointed that so many people agree with this.
Edit : It seems that after looking through this guy's channel, well, he just doesn't like Iphone. I am now wondering if this man even watched the video.
@@creamy925 It's not just that he came up with it (he didn't, AFAIK). It's just that he *sold* those ideas. First to the moneybags to invest into these ideas, and then to consumers. He's right, Wozniak did all the shit. And later on the computer scientists and engineers they hired.
Haagen It's not that easy to make generalizations in the startup culture. A startup is 75% the vision, potential and feasibility of the product and 25% the technology that goes into it. The founder is responsible for the 75%. Without a founder the engineers and scientists would have had no vision to work towards. If it weren't for jobs, woz wouldn't have the vision for the iPod.
***** you must be joking.
1.The iPhone set the standard of a smartphone, every manufacturer now tries to emulate the iPhone in someway.
2.The app revolution at this scale wouldnt have been possible without Apple. There are millions of app developers who owe their livelihoods to Apple.

4. Tablet computing. Need I say more?

+The Monarch U.S. whitewashed Tesla out of history books for several decades.
It's hilarious because I read Steve Jobs biography and that is exactly how it was explained. He had an idea and ordered other people to make it and perfect it. He really was just an idea man. Not an inventor or really an innovator at all. Seemed to give no credit to the people behind the scenes. Also he stole the idea for the ipad from a developer at Microsoft when he was shown it at a meeting but said I want that without the pen. Genius? I wouldn't say so.. Just a really savvy business man.
boson96 YES!!! Exactly! I remember reading about that. Steve jobs was a sleezy sleezy business man.
But to be fair microsoft stole his Operation System Design, back in the days. The Same OS that made Microsoft so famous today.
Do you mean Walter Isaacson's biography of Steve Jobs? Because if you do, you should read it again. Inventing and creating was part of Steve Jobs, his father was fabricating fantastic instruments and cars ever since he was a small child. Steve Jobs won competitions for inventions as a child. The chronology of apple as a company, he did more management of design and fabrication than gruntwork. Claiming that a lack of grunt work made him less of an inventor is preposterous.
He did not have the idea his friend had that idea.
Steve Wozniak credits Jobs with the first Apple computer, it was all the vision of Steve Jobs. Again, Steve Jobs was responsible for the layout and understanding. Without Steve Jobs there would be no Apple. There is a level of sophistication to Apple and its design philosophy is Steve Jobs. I suggest reading Walter Isaacson's biography that lists his inventions and upbringing.

I like that Conan also makes Bill laugh every now and then, some good ol’ fashioned friendly banter.
It is funny that Conan calls this a "crazy rant" but Bill Burr's intuition is actually mostly right. It was Wozniak who actually invented the things that Steve Jobs simply designed (ordered to be made). Jobs deserves credit as a businessman for investing in his vision, but the only reason he is such a public icon is because he fits the medias image of a new skinny intellectual trendy hipster liberal type.
If media popularity was based on merit then Jobs would be a relatively unknown, and generally disliked, "1 percenter" CEO, and Wozniak would be famous.
+John Max I've said this to others. Conan is playing the character of "non-conspiracy theorist" for the benefit of the guest. It's Conan setting up Burr for his jokes. Classic set up executed perfectly.
+David Sirois This makes sense. Thanks.
+David Sirois yeah because if Conan bought into it openly it would out the audience and not allow them to relate with what's being said. This way the audience can feel safe in their opinion and still enjoy Bill's comedy and what he has to say... the bad part about this is that they don't, or at least most don't, take bill seriously, but that latter part isn't necessary for the type of show this is.
+John Max Exactly. Conan dismisses it, but Burr is spot on here.

Greg Gallacci ye but most people don't know that about Edison though, right? So, it's not what Conan was saying.
The bigger point is that every Captain of Industry has done the exact same thing: Hired the people who can do the work to make the vision possible, keep them motivated during the project, do it cheaply by hiring students.
And like Pharaohs of old, they take full personal credit for the placement of every single paving-stone.
The cult of personality surrounding Trump, Gates, Edison, Jobs and others comes more from carefully groomed press releases and less from 'hands-on' contributions.
I don't expect Architects to mix the mortar, but stop using your Crowning Achievements to elevate yourselves above humanity.
And pretty-please, stop trying to re-define humanity to suit your product line.
Greg Gallacci Well said sir
Greg Gallacci Nice point. Big bosses should be more like sports coaches - when the short stop/goalie/research scientist has a good day at the office, give 'em an MVP award and push 'em in front of the cameras - give 'em a bit of the sppotlight :)
Tell me about it. I invented some parts/molds/procedures that saved [un-named] about $700K a year. Tiny molded parts that protected a ludicrously delicate connector.
I was working as a Calibration Tech, but this 'project' ended up as light manufacturing in house. At one point I had three people helping mix/pour casting resins and clean up newly cast parts.
When I asked my manager about 'consideration' for my work, he looked at me blankly and said "Well, you are getting a steady pay-check, are you not?"
Nice coming from the guy who just got a 10% "Savings through Innovation!" bonus and award dinner.
Unless you are truly committed to your Employers vision, leave your brain and your best ideas at home. When your are on the clock, every idea you have belongs to "The Man"
Just saying.
0:55 Conan’s “yeaw... yeaw” 😂
I've watched this five times going-on-ten and it just doesn't get old ! xDDDD
"Jesus, Gandhi, ME!!" That line will never not make me laugh
Most of the crowd that was booing him were just the typical Apple Slaves. No idea or creativity amongst themselves, same phone, same person. Boring. I applaud Bill for going balls out on this topic, I had the same thoughts on Steve. He was the founder of the company, so what.. just gonna hire other people to help you out.
Bruh I have an iphone and a macbook. I love apple but I can admit that Jobs just ordered the real geniuses to do all the work. I guess sometimes you need a conductor for the orchestra of geniuses who wouldn’t otherwise come to a great idea/solution.
Conan is the one acting strangely this time, as Burr's criticism of Jobs is a common one. Although Jobs loved tech and computers, he did not have technical skills (e.g. he didn't build computers from scratch or write computer programs). He wasn't good at hardware or software, but he was the kind of guy who would memorize the specs (e.g. processor speed, hard drive space, RAM storage) the specs of the latest devices. He was an entrepreneur and a tyrant who (as Burr accurately depicted) would just order people to do things (and who often gave them impossible tasks to complete). By all accounts, he was not a good person to his friends, family or co-workers either and his contributions to the rise of the personal computer are often a bit overstated. In fact, oftentimes his stubborn ideas held Apple back more than he advanced the company.
“Get on it!!!!!!” 😆😆😆
JESUS, GHANDI, ME!!!
