    Respect. Congrats on figuring this out so early. By the time I understood this I had the new house, new 50k dually etc etc. Took me another 10 years to break free. Now at 46 nothing is more important than my time, freedom and peace of mind. I also very much enjoy making my youtube videos. I can't sing, dance, write, paint or draw, but I can do the videos. I finally have a way to express myself, and it seems that others enjoy watching them. Good luck to you with your channel.

    Recent High school graduate. I tried to explain this to my brothers and parents. Their response, "getting into debt and struggling is a part of being a adult". I also explained why I'd rather live in a van and save $1000 every month vs saving $20 every month renting a apartment. Their response, "why would you settle for less, that sounds crazy".

    Nailed, take me 45 years (I'm 47 now) to understand that at all. I have a steady Job, but only Parttime, 25 hours per Week are enough to pay my bills and have a good life ( and good doesnt mean to consume, its meaning being happy). To understand that all this stuff make us to slaves and never bring anything good to our mind is the key. Go on with your Chanel, love it. Stay safe.

    My favorite vid so far! Great message and lots of things to think about. You've definitely been the last straw in my ever growing haystack of reasons I should drop out of the rat race and give van dwelling a try. In about 8 months I'll be on the road in my 84 Chevy G20 that I snagged for $350! Woooo! Oh hey and I'm from Portland as well! Keep on keeping on man.

    I'm just figuring this out at 30. I'm out of college without a degree with 42K in debt. Only way to pay it off is to work 2 jobs I and get no sleep. So I bought a van recently to move in and going to help with the payments. Not sure if I want to go back to school or if I want to follow a life of "passion" or w/e you want to cal lit, not this. The debt if my fault. I don't blame others for it. All that time building for a "future" that never came or might take another 10 years to come just is starting to lose its appeal, especially when I can be happy without that career and have more time doing more things I love.

    Bro, you are exactly like me! I say the say the exact same shit. I want to do the same exact thing. Not so such the videos, don't like videoing myself. But the freedom, the traveling, the driving, the making boss moves and not living an ordinary life like everyone else. And being a wage slave, being told when to wake up and when you can eat. I'm actually saving up and bout to sleep in my old civic until I can save up and get probably a Honda element. Good on gas and reliable. I just wanna travel and be free. Live life to the fullest and on my own terms. Keep it up bro and safe travels brother 💪👍✌💪💪

    Hey, Bro, you are awesome. Congrats on figuring out the bullshit while you are still young. Took me most of my life and I am now in my 70's and finally selling out and hitting the road this spring. Your philosophy is right on with the New Thought movement based on metaphysics. Really is fun to be in charge of your own life instead of feeling like a puppet to corporate America, hey? Keep up the good work and rewards will definitely come your way. Success to me. Is doing what you like and finding new experiences. FUCK MATERIALISM. It's bringing the modern world down. Hell! You don't even need the heating in the winter if you wear a lot of clothes! Not only should we stop buying and start saving. But we should also stop caring about it. We should stop caring about money, stuff and all that. And start caring about the stuff you're doing.

    I'm on the road now and I'm enjoying it. However a part of me misses the familiarity and comforts of my static life (my house, my 9 to 5, my stuff etc.). I didn't expect that. I highly recommend people test the waters before diving into this lifestyle full time. Rent the type of vehicle you want to live in and take some time off from work. Get accustomed to the idea of not having a steady paycheck, sleeping in different locations and learning to conserve your resources. I never realized how frivolously I used water, electricity and gas when I was in my stick and brick home.

    That is Robert Kiyosaki. He is the author of "Rick Dad Poor Dad". I am a CPA and I own 6 corporations and I have been following his advise for years. I encourage all my new CPA business clients to read that book and also "Cash Flow Quadrant".
    I love how he defines wealth - it is by measured in days you don't need to work before you are unable to live. Passive income is goal. Reducing expenses like you have makes you much more wealthy under that definition. Use this time to build passive income sources.

    • @Into_The_Mystery_13
      @Into_The_Mystery_13  8 років тому

    • @davevario
      @davevario 8 років тому

      I have made a career of counseling others to reach for the goal of creating passive income sources and I practice what I "preach". My practice and knowledge encompass using rental real estate, real estate flips, real estate land development, passive businesses, turn-around's, online services and other things to build passive income. I started from zero and built and sold my first business before I graduated from college. I am in Frederick MD. My website is www.kvacpa.com If you are passing through the area sometime, feel free to stop by my office. Or if you like I would be willing to offer advice by email to you about choosing among passive income ideas; pros and cons etc. Regardless, enjoy the books! I know when I first read rich dad, I could not sleep for two days. Cheers.

    Yes, finding what is unique about ourselves, what our passion is, is crucial. I enjoy how you share this message and the importance of living in the moment. I want to put in a plug for your Patreon account. You may want to add a link in the description box. I just received my postcard from you, and the stickers are beautiful and very high quality. I received them after an exhausting day in the rat race, and was touched and challenged by the message of "Love Yourself" and your note, "To say yes to one instant is to say yes to all existence!" I need to love myself, to journal, write about my dreams, create the time to love myself, because it has to start with me. I have to remember that contentment doesn't sell, so the world is not going to offer me contentment, only I can do that, and only by being in the moment can I find my passion. Thank you...signing up for Patreon was quick and easy...and saying yes to another's dream is to say yes to our own!

    We quit the rat race in our mid forties over 5 years ago, and we've never looked back. We quit our crappy, soul destroying jobs, sold the house in England, loaded the car, put Steppenwolf's Born to be Wild on the CD player and took off.
    50,000 miles and 21 countries later we have a new home, no mortgage, no rent, no jobs, new friends, new experiences- new life!!

    Passion is useless without direction, Class, lower middle or working, has no correlation with income...more to do with intelligence and empathy.... The lowest income earners give a greater percentage of their income to charity than the highest earners. Class can't really be bought. Class, is being able to make anyone in your presence feel comfortable..no matter their background. That requires empathy and manners. Re. Making money..... When we as humans are borne, I'm damn sure nature didn't envisage currency as being one of our survival necessities ... Which is why it will never provide happiness. .... Great vids dude !

    Robert Kiyosaki book Rich Dad Poor Dad definitely helped me improve my perspective of everything I often questioned and good thing I'm 16 and learned this very early except my parents have more liabilities than assets and I'm trying to help them gain the knowledge I have now to improve themselves

    I escaped the rat race 4 years ago. Left the U S and will never ever go back to my destructive lifestyle of wants and bills to go along with it!
    I now live well with little and loving it!

      Into The Mystery 13 The best part is... I had a shock of my life when I found out my property bill is only 18 dollars a year. I almost laughed at the lady who seriously told me my tax bill. That translates to 23 lev Bulgarian money.
