Women don’t like men who give off an incel vibe. Condescending or hateful. Women don’t like men that smell unless it is from actually working. Women don’t like men who can’t make a joke or laugh at themselves. Women don’t like men who treat people like wait staff poorly. They don’t like handsy guys.

if you talk about having sex with random women or falling in love its all about attraction aka looks so your height, face, proper body composition (not big you dont need muscles you just need proper not skinny not fat) and from "cheats" good hairstyle or rather not having bad one and good fiting clothes but something like black t shirt will be propably the best option, woman that care about money are with you only to use you and will marry you take your many and leave to good looking brokie. Look how bad Andrew Tates girls look he is simply bad looking face wise, money wont give you love. You guys try to sound you are mad that some women want money but truth is you wish and hope they will because if money wont be enough you simply doesnt have even an chance. Women are the same as men they also want good looking and their age, that cope that men peak at 35s is just cope, you look the best in 20s and you all know it because i am sure you know guys that had girlfriends from class etc in second hand oversize clothes just because they are tall and good looking. The only thing you can do is just have good diet so you look your best, and dont wear horrible looking clothes/hairstyles.

If a woman is not going to like you because of some of the things you wear, then perhaps she is not a good fit for you. Obviously be sensible in what you wear and look your best but you also need to wear what you’re comfortable with and be who you are, most important attributes is how you treat others and how you PRESENT YOURSELF attitude wise. I occasionally wear my cap backwards when wearing spectacles for driving and forgot to switch it back. Thankfully I am not conscious of how people think of my background. I only wear a hat indoors whilst doing activities as I sweat quite easily and said cap tends to absorb it quite well. I also have caps for different days and events, white for a clean look and dark for I don't give a monkeys. I tend to wear a cap or hat to keep the sun off of my delicate bald patch, helps with the rain also if I have forgotten my brolly. 😂

Speaking as an older woman, I think this is a sign of young women being far too fashion oriented. It isn't so much a matter of WHAT men wear but HOW they wear it. I have never had a problem with how much money a man has, I earn my own. Clothes and shoes that are clean, well cared for and ironed or pressed will always say more about a man's character. It's how they treat me that matters.

  • @richegenriether8161
    @richegenriether8161 14 днів тому +2

I'm not in the target audience, but I'm glad to see younger men interested in looking smart. I'm an aging, retired boomer, and I still enjoy an opportunity to clean up. In the high school I attended, the dress code was coat and tie. Not uniform blazer and tie, but you had to pay attention to color coordination. I happen to be a veteran as well, so looking sharp in garrison duty made life easier.
As for headwear, I wear a fedora, I wear a Homborg, in the summer, I wear a boater. If despite our host's advice, and choose to wear a dapper hat, and you can afford it, buy genuine fur felt hats. If your means doesn't allow for that, a wool felt hat will do, but it won't have a particularly long life. To extend a wool felt hat's life, I suggest an occasional coat of poly urethane on the underside of the brim, and cutting out the crown lining and poly that. You can then put the lining back in the crown when it dries, and tape it in with duct tape inside the sweat band. Perhaps its because I'm older, but I'm often complimented by a wide spectrum of people regarding my hats. Unless you're doing outdoor chores, or exercise, a wool touque is gauche. Particularly when you see detectives on cop shows wearing them with an overcoat. That will certainly slum down the look. I'll wear a ball cap if I'm laboring outdoors, or during exercise. Fifteen years ago after a sudden drop in weight, I gave up on belts most of the time. I'm even thinner now, but still have a pot belly, and wear grip belts with shorts in the summer, but with trou I wear galluses. Trousers don't ride down my waist anymore. They're not cheap, and you should get at least three or four pair of varying colors or patterns. You should usually go for those made of non-stretch fabric for longer life.
For forty years I've been bemoaning logoed T's. Christ in a creche, I always though it was in bad taste!
As for my drawers, I don't care what any woman thinks of my boxers or what pattern they may have. I want my junk to breathe without restraint!

Beanie hats fit fine in cold weather, otherwise they look silly in warm weather. So far got to 70 without ever wearing a hat, apart from my school cap. Fortunately I’ve still got hair. I did try on a fedora and that is the way I’d go when dressing in my overcoat.
Fortunately as an artist, I am aware of colour and can mix and match shirts, jackets and trousers to good effect. Belt socks and shoes to compliment. Styles to vary, depending on the venue.
Scarves? Can be a bit pretentious. I think to keep it authentic, keep it weather oriented.

+1 for the golf style. Tired of seeing people show up at the driving range in tracksuits... Also, as a barber, the 2 in 1 thing has *some* merit. The molecules in a 2 in 1 shampoo are diluted to create said product, which makes it not as effective for either washing or conditioning hair. That said, I do think that to find this a turn off is plain odd.
I also agree that conditioning hair for men with short hair is utterly pointless; as I also only shampoo for a stronger, more textured finish.

A gentleman must stay true to himself, but also take other people's feelings into account. If you want a fine lady, then don't dress like, or act like, an adolescent, or a vulgar cad. If you have standards for the women you get close to, then so should they. I don't want a woman who dresses immaturely or like a prostitute, because I don't want the relationship issues that come with such people.
The shorts mentioned are for boys. I would never wear them. The shiny knit shirts for golf would be paired with compatible fabrics by anyone with an aesthetic sense; on or off the course.
Undergarments should first be chosen for health and comfort, until sharing bedroom activities. I might loose the starch from my man-staff if my woman wore hideous underthings, my dear great-great grandmama wore. I want some consideration from the opposite sex, so I should give some.

Classic gentleman's headgear is fine, IF you are pairing it with the appropriate attire. A fedora does not look good on a man in shorts and sandals. Worn with a full suit (that term includes a neck tie) they can look sharp. Also be aware that the "classic" look was typically worn by men in an age when facial hair was not in style. Oddly I saw a homburg last winter, which I can't remember seeing in my lifetime. Even more oddly it looked good on the man. He was middle aged, had a short and very neatly trimmed beard and was wearing a full three piece suit. I was so shocked that I suspect I may have broken one of the polite rules of society by staring for a moment. Yes, classic hats can work. But usually not with contemporary fashions.

@DJOttmar the interesting part is that if you wear suit to a job interview at a startup it can go against you.

@@edyu21 Perhaps. But: If you WANT to wear a suit and you do and the company holds that against you, why would you even bother to work for them? The culture obviously doesn't match with you. I do not believe in corporate dress codes at all, they don't make sense, in neither way. I just want to dress in a way I feel suits me - and in my case, that happens to be classic elegant clothing. So I don't bother with people that neither appreciate that nor even tolerate it.

Thankfully, I don't dress to attract or impress women.

I can see most of those points. One does need to move away from badly outdated styles, but without being on the leading edge at all times. It can be too pretentious to be overly style-focused.
I can't go with the boxer brief, though. I've never found any that don't ride up the legs after a couple of washings. It is briefs always, preferably black. They are bold and confident. It is unmanly to be excessively self conscious about what you've got.

If you wear a baseball cap it should not be on backwards. Especially once your age no longer has a 1 as it’s first digit.

If you are really good looking you can wear anything, hats, socks, kilts anything. If you are not classically chiseled it doesn't matter what you wear women are going to hate it.
