We do not demonstrate knitting backwards in this episode, but it can be used to save some time in turning.

Yes me too. Every video i have watched starts after the first set of triangles or further up
I had to get a book (The Knitter's Bible by Claire Compton, c. 2004--This book is included in a kit...) to aid me in following this video.

After you have completed all tiers, how to do keep going? I have only one stitch left on the needle and the pattern tells me to bind off. But I want to make a long scarf, how do I continue?
