Hi Heather, My husband overheard me listening to you conversation about Chiagoo needles and bought me the complete set for my birthday, today. What a wonderful surprise! Thank you for what you do! Very sincerely, J
Hi Heather, I am kind of new to Entrelac knitting, but not to provisional cast on (use it a lot for brims of hats). I am wanting to make a entrelac blanket and I was wondering if the provisional cast on would be good for this? I thank you in advance for getting back to me.
Hi! Yes, I think so -- but it depends on what you want that edge to look like. It can look kind of "unfinished" but it does allow the entrelac to be the full width it wants to be. You could add an edge afterwards to neaten it up a bit if you wanted. So, I'd probably suggest making a swatch with your yarn (doing like 3 or 4 blocks wide) and see if you like the look of that edge.

Thanks for mentioning the Master Knitter program requirements. I was just typing that as a question when I heard you answer my query. 😊
You're welcome! I knew there would be many who would wonder if this would be acceptable.
