    I love those. I'm new to tumblers and I haven't had very good luck with making the waves on other projects but I really want to try this. These beach tumblers are so pretty and the glitters are gorgeous. Thank you.

      I like using the medium heat setting in a blow dryer with the velocity on a low ish setting. I just get better waves that way. Good luck with it!

      I have a link in my bio for tumblers. If they don’t ship internationally, try Amazon! I use 20oz and 30oz skinny tumblers.

    Your cup is beautiful. I really like this tutorial too. Very helpful. I have a question though. How do you get these to not have ridges all down them after you blow dry them?

    • @glitteringthecoast
      @glitteringthecoast  Рік тому

      Thank you so much! I put 1-2 more coats of epoxy on them after I make the waves. If it is lumpy or I still have bumps, I sand and re-coat with epoxy :)

    Please help! I cannot find the right size adjustable foam insert to use for a 20oz skinny while turning on my cup turner to apply resin. I ordered a whole pack of them and they are just to big to fit inside the cups. What do you use for you skinny tumblers? The ones I received are either too big or too small.

    • @glitteringthecoast
      @glitteringthecoast  7 місяців тому

      If you click on the video, there’s a link for the inserts I use. You might have to manhandle it and shove them in there. What shape tumbler are you using?

    • @janinemorris6508
      @janinemorris6508 7 місяців тому

      Thank you for replying!Tall skinny . The top lip opening is smaller then the tumbler . So the inserts are so hard to get in then when they go in they are loose.

    • @glitteringthecoast

    Why did you fine glitter on bottom and chunky on top?

    • @glitteringthecoast
      @glitteringthecoast  11 місяців тому

      A few reasons. 1. I hate sanding chunky in the bottom and sides of the bottom. I try to do fine on the bottom whenever I can. 2. I like the way it looks.. personal preference. I do have a medium size gold I use sometimes but still prefer fine.

    How long do you wait to use epoxy after adding the glitter?

    • @glitteringthecoast
      @glitteringthecoast  Місяць тому

      You wait until your epoxy is dried. My liquidy split is about 2 hours.

    • @glitteringthecoast
      @glitteringthecoast  Місяць тому

      @Belle21137 it seals the glitter so that it doesn’t move. You don’t have to but I recommend sealing it somehow :)

    I am confused I very much love your video/ your tutorial but I am very confused by the amount of resin you say you're using at the end coding. You're using 20 oz of resin on the 20 oz glass and 30 oz of resin on the 30 Oz glass ? That is an awful lot of resin!

    • @glitteringthecoast
      @glitteringthecoast  3 місяці тому +1

      It was one of my first videos so I messed up a lot. Learning as I go lol I meant 20oz tumbler gets 20ml epoxy. 30oz tumbler gets 30ml epoxy.
